We can see that Bitcoin is getting now more used around this time and that is good, and the most important is that we have also to spend it so there are also more stores that is accepting more Bitcoins.
The unpredictable thing is that nobody will know what the value will be in the future and that we also cant control the value and that is quite risky for people with Bitcoin.

The price rose from $200 to almost $800 (x4), so saying that it rose just more than 100% is a bit of an underestimation

You are right about no one can really know if what will happen in future, it may grow or it may drop down again, but maybe the target you said is achievable if bitcoin keeps spreading around the world and get accepted by every single franchise and stores around the globe and every person get to know about it and start using it.

Bitcoin getting widely used and accepted will really take a long time, but one thing is sure that adoption level will be much higher in coming years, so the future of bitcoin seems to be really good.

Man life is so short so that means time past by so fast, we need to understand that even what you are saying is really true but if you feel like bitcoins will really have a good future then time is just slow. By looking at the price on a daily basis especially nowadays it will surprise you because that is reality that the demand of the people is increasing.

I thought of selling when the price crossed $500, but then decided to stay put come what may.

At those price it was a hard decision. Specially now it is getting harder to just let it stay in the wallet, the price is so high that it urges you to exchange it. I have done many wrong choices in exchanging but I dont regret it. It is a good experience. Lesson learned.

Yeah we need to keep on learning from our mistakes and make sure that we don't repeat that mistake in future, as of now I think holding for halving is the best thing we can do.

halving will surely push the bticoin price up in my opinion thus allowing you to earn some good money in my opinion, though i think that the price is not going to fall any time soon

i think that the future of the bitcoin will surely be bright and that the price of the bitcoin will grow a lot thus attracting more people to it and allowing the people to benefit from it

No one really knows what is going to happen in the long term. I personally think bitcoin will be around for a very long time and will be worth a lot of money but I can't say how much. If we can get to $10,000 US dollars per bitcoin in my lifetime, I would be happy.

yeah and all these rises will cause a lot more attention to bitcoin than it was before when the price was low and stable.

and all these attentions means a lot more growth for bitcoin and more adoption which will also lead to more price rise. so in the end everybody will be happy.

We will see higher level of adoption in future, as many uses are getting into bitcoin now and this number will keep on increasing in coming years so we dont need to worry about the future of bitcoin.
