only 2 million? from where you get the impression that there are 2 million bitcoin users at the moment? i am not even sure whether we have 500-700k bitcoin users at the moment. there is literally no way to know how many users there really are.

He said perhaps so he is not sure also. Maybe estimating it. In your case it is 500-700k it is really near 2 million. Well no one really can do a headcount in here. We are dealing in numbers here and many people are not telling they are in to it or we dont know that they are investing in bitcoin just not making a ruckus about it.

and i am not sure if bitcoin price fail down to $200 or so there will be more investors come in, based on my experience there is some people around me withdrawing their investment from bitcoin in 2015 ago when price down to $250 because they are afraid it will not up again.

Well if the price colapses and return to the 200 i will make a loan for sure to get the biggest ammount of bitcoin i could get and i will repay the loan over 4 years ,or with less time handling the coins i have to maximize my income.I missed the opportunity last year,but i believe that price can get back on the halving or later but for a short time .

But keep remember that you also have to repay the loan, so if ask for a loan in BITCOIN, then no matter how much the price increase or decrease, you have to repay all those bitcoins which you have got as a loan, so what will be the benefit to you?

I think someone did a head count somewhere in here in bitcoin discussion. Though that is just the number of bitcoin user here in bitcointalk it is still a small number compared to the number of people that are using a computer. I dont think it will even get at 1% of the total number of population.

It's not that hard to figure that out since the older Bitcoin gets, the more users and the more merchants there are joining Bitcoin. It's called natural growth.

according to me, the future of bitcoin will be greater , in the coming future bitcoin will be the king of internet currency, everyone will prefer bitcoin for their transactions and payment for their purchases, and the stores where ATM card is in use will also prefer bitcoin to adopt for their payment method.

That is true that is why bitcoin must be used always. Let it circulate, make it an option of payment to other merchants. Let them be in bitcoin society. So that when we grew in numbers it will be also adopted by other merchants and demands will grew also making are stacked coins worth a lot.

yeah i think this is the main goal of bitcoin for now.. because here in my country is nearly accepting bitcoin as payment just like in brazil more than 150 store can accept bitcoin as payment.. and i feel that this year it will happen in my place.. i hope it will happen just like brazil..

Well Brazil stores working with bitcoin are mostly developers companies and law companies soo they accept all kind of money,and its good to see bitcoin as an option.
