bitcoin has been growing so far, in a sense that there is always new people who find out about bitcoin and start buying it. also there has been new services that start accepting bitcoin every now and then like steam is planning to do. so if this way continues to stay the same and become increased i am expecting a lot more popularity and as the result, much higher price.
Its hard to say what the future will be of Bitcoin. Because you never know what will happen with the value. And that is the problem.
I hope that it will be more used later and that the value will rise for a long time so we can sell it with some huge profit.

more security and protections when we dealing with exchanges that can rob us.

That is the fact. If it will try to beat bitcoin there's no need for pump action. It's clearly for trading purposes only to make profit but on the technology evolves to it, it's late and outdated.

yeah bitcoin is not only currency, because the price always in fluctuations, bitcoin is comodity + currency like phisycal gold or phisycal diamond etc.
It is like lined up with gold and copper that is why when I look at it I always thought of it as a commodity. You can use it also for buying online and paying bills so it is also a currency. Great bitcoin does that all.
