Your prediction has a good probability to happen because bitcoin is a unique asset that will have a great value once massive adoption will happen, and for me I don't see any hindrance why people would not adopt once educated with the real value of bitcoins.

Yeah till date, I have noticed many of the small companies are start with using the bitcoin payment mode, but it is not enough to go more bigger in future So it should go some mass adoption around world IT market and Its hard to know what the future will be of Bitcoin, Bitcoin is a currency and a currency is always changing from value so you never will know the value.
