Future projects of bitcoin will be the block size by increasing it because the number of transaction will be increased maybe exponentially in the near future if big shops implement it.

The alternative solution for block size increase is on the way of getting ready to implement. May some people claim is as third party intervention needed, security measures also will be implemented accordingly.
So, bitcoin will be ready to handle to any rapid raise in transactions volume as the result of main stream adoption.

For any of us who wonder what future hold for us, this is great source of information:

http://www.fastcompany.com/3051679/innovation-agents/the-future-of-bitcoin-isnt-bitcoin-its-bigger-than-that

The sad part is future will bring  increase of interest not exclusively in bitcoin alone, but rather block chain technology.

well inherently when we have "halving" btc will rise as supply will go down. Also in order for these huge asic companies to keep selling their crappy miners they will need btc to rise.  So maybe its a little conspiracy / supply and demand but its for sure going up imo.

Well, here's the thing.  There are many speculation threads that predict what will happen when the bitcoin halving occurs, but there is no way of knowing the "true" value of bitcoin due to it's volatility.  In theory, it makes sense that the price will double in order to make miners happy/making some sort of ROI (if they run a fairly big mining farm)... but because of the fact that know one can really tell what the average price of bitcoin should be and it's not regulated in any form, makes it to where we can't really know if the prices as of right now are taking into account the halving coming up.  I just have a feeling bitcoins price inevitably will go up before the halving due to speculation alone, which can be a good or bad thing.

In the future bitcoin will be the same what paypal is now. When we talk about payment or better yet want to make a purchase, Bitcoin will be the first thought and be used to make an online payment.
If bitcoin come and raise like paypal means that will be awful news for us. More over paypal account we can't create from all the countries But Bitcoin Completely digitization We can use from any country around the world.

i hope, not, paypal is holding a bad position like now, not even comparable with the bst option you have, i still use my credit card for the vast majority of purchases

bitcoin should be comparable to american express or circuit like that in the future, at the very elast

i don't want bitcoin to become the same as paypal. it will be much better than paypal has ever been. i think paypal will accept bitcoin with open arms at some point in the future as they know bitcoin will overtake them. if you can't beat your enemy, join them.

I believe bitcoin will be widely used worldwide and will go mainstream in the near future. Because of that bitcoin price will also pump out and hodlers will rejoice. I can also see bitcoin replacing paypal in terms of transaction online and micro payments. I also won't be surprised if kids in the future will be aware and using bitcoin. All in all, there will be a very good future of bitcoin.

What are the future projections for Bitcoin?

Bitcoin or some form of cryptocurrency will become a worldwide alternative currency used by billions of people around the world.  Some governments will try to ban it but very similar to the Internet, bitcoin will maintain its presence and grow.  Bitcoin will change the world of finance in a greater way the Internet has changed the world for information.  It's still very young and the future is bright.

I think the future of bitcoin is like today.
currency does not have a future, because it happens only two possibilities for the exchange rate is the exchange rate goes up or down
I think there are more aspects than just exchange rate Grin the adoption rate, its application to the life,... a currency can change and shape our future too so I think a currency has a future

Future of bitcoin is not very clear until many businesses accept it as a official currency.

Well said, even though many big businesses accepted bitcoin as currency there are many big other shops who are hesitating to invest a bit in bitcoin and the future would be perfect.
Because most of the companies they don't know the benefit and profit about bitcoin. Once they coming to then they will automatically start to make business with bitcoin. I hope this this will happen for sure.

Well said. we need some major merchants who will accept bitcoin as a payment option. From there adoption will increase verfast.
And the best thing is more and more people will hold bitcoin since it can be used.

Bitcoin might not need to move into fast high volume small transaction e-commerce as there are plenty of altcoins better suited to the small transactions.  What I think we need is an exchange mechanism by which bitcoins and multiple altcoins may be swapped to multiple sidechains without arbitrage losses as happens with multiple floating exchanges.  Each such pegged sidechain must be a token for a useful commodity such as transport-for-london travel or Chicago City Parking Meter Tokens.

I was quite worried yesterday when someone told me that you get a cheaper fare on the London Underground if you wave a contactless credit card at the gate instead of buying a paper ticket at the machine.  This new tech must have cost a bit, so VISA must be using it as a loss-leader to encourage the muggles to follow them.  I see no reason in principle why an oystercard cannot be preloaded from bitcoin, as that has the contactless antennae for the ticket gates.  As I see it, bitcoin could be the currency of choice to preload to the fast sidechain of a prepayment contactless debit card for various contactless purchases.  By comparison to VISA, transaction fees are not dumped on the shop and the user is obliged to live within their monthly surplus - ie it stops working instead of running up credit card debt.  The London Transport "oystercard" all-vehicles contactless ticketing system is a nice prototype for hardware to carry around a fast cryptocurrency to spend everywhere.  I see the future of bitcoin as being the "digital gold" backing that.

The future bitcoins projections are purely based on people and their business. If Bitcoin will attract them it`s positive and will grow. If not then will fail.
I am looking for positive future anyway Smiley
