I think I prefer ripple as best a cryptocurrecy in the future, the development team is working hard to collaborate with various payment service providers, although their goal to work with Banks is still not getting good news, but I'm sure one day ripple will succeed
In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.
The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.
The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I think what BMO, Bank of Montreal is doing is absolute BS! Not letting account holders buy any crypto. I am not an account holder but would leave for another bank if I was.

So others are tend to create similar with Bitcoin which it is backed by government but I think people will prefer to use crypto. I think Future of cryptocurrency looks bright and governments are taking lot steps to legalize the cryptocurrency. Most of the companies now raising the money need to answer for SEC people once they get into track. Don't worry. Just wait patiently!

I also think that in 2020, crypto currencies would have gone mainstream. Though many people think that the market is going to stay red forever but we both know it is not the case. Digital market has huge space to make progress and a lot of potential too. It is going to show this to the whole world in coming years. Let’s just give a look to the predicted values of bitcoin only. It is expected to touch 30k dollars by the end of this year and it may worth 90k dollars by 2020. 
Those coins that you see in the top 10 cryptocurrencies? Most started as cheap contribution event, where you contribute when the coins are launched and you get an x number of coins at a huge discount, which have great potential to grow. Good examples are Ethereum, Cardano, NEO, etc. They started with an ICO, and people who are benefitting now received ETH, ADA, NEO etc coins at the lowest prices they had ever seen. For crypto currency future. Imagine no cash, do not need to think that you will be robbed at night all the money for a sweep on the Internet which is not possible to steal. My opinion is: you need to make all the money in an electronic form
Its not possible for the whole World... not everybody has internet, many old people cant handle cryptos, cryptos can be robbed... think of anonym currency, stealth transactions and so on...
with what do you pay when power network breaks down? ... no electricity no crypto .. if you loose your private key or something important for you wallet?.. maybe a fire in your room.. and your computer get destroyed, what do you do? ... there are many points why only e-cash wont work

every human been is using internet, and the number of users is increasing every single day so its obvious that the cryptourreny will be the most used and demanded currency in the hole world sooner or later, in addition to that the btc will solve a lot of financial problems around the hole world.
Despite the current situation and a serious drop in prices and capitalization, I am confident that the future will be bright. Negative will soon end and growth will begin.

Now that Crypto has been accepted by many countries in payment, we have seen the benefits that Crypto has brought us. I firmly believe that in the future Crypto will grow stronger, they will replace cash in the payment of goods and services.
