I don't think it will phase out fiat gambling, but crypto currency will dominate the online gambling system in the next 5 years. Unless those fiat gambling sites will accept bitcoin or any crypto as deposits, there will be some fiat standing but they are no match and should not resist if other fiat gambling sites starting to accept crypto's. You mentioned that advantage of using crypto's so its just a matter of time before gamblers as well want to used it to play online. I only play one website so far using fiat and yeah when I try to withdraw they are asking for my personal information which I don't like to give. So I just decided to play until I have 0 bankroll and said to myself that I will not play using fiat again.

i think it is now becoming difficult to monitor their children because no one can easy play gambling using their cell phone. i think internet made it more easy to play gambling so conveniently and you can have easy access to online casino from anywhere, you can play gambling anonymously using bitcoin which hide your identity from anyone. therefore the online gambling is becoming more popular as time passed.
