I don’t know about you, but it looks like we’re in the ICO stage (2017) stage of NFTs. Quick cash grabs, high floor prices, etc.

Beyond art, I see so many other applications for NFTs. Example: Michael Jordan creating a fan engagement platform with NFTs, companies like 4K turning physical goods into NFTs to leverage, music platforms that sell NFTs to redeem for experiences, etc.

What other applications do you guys see for NFTs?

yes it is quite similar in concept but NFT can immediately usefull compare to ico. because it can directly interact with the project and more attractive i think. in the past, most of the ICOs were just promises and it was not clear what the benefits were. NFT is much better in my opinion.

If you talk about which is good, maybe it really depends on the experience of each person, sometimes there are also some people who have gotten the real advantage of the ICO, but in this case the effect of the development of Crypto is very dependent on the developer, this is very beneficial We choose NFT, in general they develop well for now and many projects have proven successful.

I think many other applications can use NFT. It is proof that crypto has now evolved to benefit human life. At least, they can make money from crypto and the trend. The trend of NFT is becoming bigger as many new projects try to connect it into gaming or art, so it will have the possibility that we will see another thing that will use NFT. But still, NFT needs to run and build new things for human life so NFT can be a bridge between a digital world with real life. It is like what crypto has already done and maybe in the future, it will fully connect each other between real life and digital life.

Did ICO last longer after the hype? No, right that is what eventually will happen to NFT as well in my opinion. Someone started the craze and now its trending with no actual utility. I like the non fungible token idea but it is not really too great to involve them in every sector.

I guess you are right, but what makes NFT's different from ICO? I guess it is destined to be doomed like what happened to ICO way back 2017. I just see random arts and there is no use case of them and just there to be collected, paintings in real life that cost a fortune is understandable but this NFT arts that I can't even touch is a no for me.

NFT means (non-fungible token) it is a new trend it is going to be famous day by day. I think NFT has a bright future. you should also make an investment in NFT it will give you
huge profit in future
What you said sounds unconvincing and the popularity of NFT will also be saturated in the future because in the eyes of crypto users, this also does not have many exceptional strengths compared to previous trends, also just a form of investment and talk about the preciousness of the token then marketing and promoting the app for the business and the future. Innovating is more than just a few famous brands that want a unique collection with NFT but the limit is only in passion and hunting for rare things, not showing any more value in the future

I would rather stick to top coins which has a better foundation rather than risking things on NFTs these days because, to be honest, non-fungible token are just usually carried by too much hype but having a hard time burning their tokens that they couldn't even control its supply. Yes, they are profitable but I don't think they're good for a long-term hold.

I like alt and games for nft, but not all alt and games have good prospects in the future, so need an analysis to know good projects involved in alt and games, it is indeed difficult to get to know projects that have stability and level of success, but at least us must be able to identify and know the real project, that is the most important in investment.

I think NFT is very great for investment because you purchase a NFT on a cheap rate and you sold this NFT in a high profit but this all depends for a quality of project and the type of NFT .
And there are some types of nft and project specially sports NFT project are very successful project.
And the future of NFT are very bright soon the NFT project are go to the moon and everyone hold a NFT.

Snip~
Arguably ICOs evolved into IEOs and IDOs and such, with much more reasonable amount of money being raised. So I think it's not as clear as simply fading away. I agree NFTs are widely overvalued, but just like raising money for new altcoin projects has remained popular, so will these new tokens I imagine. The art & collectables industry are loving them, even if the crypto market isn't so impressed.

ICO, become IEO and IDO but what happened after that people lost interest and finding the bew sector like NFT now these are just good for getting short term returns so I will not invest on them for long term. There is no doubt in that many projects raised in millions in few hours but many of them ended as scam and remaining just become another dump and bump token or coin so nothing actually changed when it comes to utility

Games. But had to be careful because most of it drops down in value after early birds takes their profits away as early as they could. I think that's the weakness of NFT games. Perhaps, they could come up with another method that would control outcoming money so that it will last longer.
Other investors which have goals to go deep in playing the game are being discouraged because of this events. The rush to take ROI and early profits are destroying the economy of one NFT game which I think will not last long anymore.
So what's the method to avoid that? Join as early as possible as long as it doesn't look like a scam.

Nowadays NFTs are mostly associated with entertainment and digital art, but I know that it is not its limit. Non-Fungible Tokens can be used for transmission and storage of information and different documents. Everything from the real world can be tokenized and sold via blockchains. I follow some projects that tokenize real property, documents and even ideas.

Based on my observation I think NFT are able to gain wide mainstream awareness toward the NFT itself and cryptocurrencies on the surface, while ICO were particularly a niche-specific market that only regular cryptocurrency users are adopting. So I do too believe that there is no reason NFT will fade away instantaneously. Not to mention that NFT is still early, so there is a lot of room to grow.

~sooner we'll  have all sector here like the drinks, food, clothes, shoes etc company's minting their brands into NFT and then they can be hosted in the metaverse space.
Well actually, the clothing space entering NFT are already happening in my country(Indonesia), recently, there is a collaboration movement within among established fashion industry to enter NFT spaces, they are all make 3D model of their clothes and make it as an NFT.

NFT has a market above what we currently have, having the metaverse and play to earn game coming into the spotlight is the best thing that would happen to the NFT trends. Already characters can be minted into NFT and lands in the metaverse are also NFT meaning more and more items can be minted I to NFT soon like building etc.

Quote
I believe that almost all of the big company will be interested to make an NFT, beside its potention, but More profit will come after that.

This is already becoming a trend as everyday there's news out there of already big and established company comings into the NFT industry, sooner we'll  have all sector here like the drinks, food, clothes, shoes etc company's minting their brands into NFT and then they can be hosted in the metaverse space.

Even Mike Tyson is into NFTs right now and I think its great. We all now the chance to have a piece of art that is backed by blockchains which is farm greater than physical arts. There are still lots to explore by which developers can still discover.

Play to earn game, and many more. NFT can still be explored by the developers. The development a new trend will always have needed a long term process. I will try to remind you with the defi trend which has been brought by yearn finance platform tot he crypto as it's the first defi that available in the crypto and i have seen how big the hype that came to the YFI but with the goes of time and so many new defi appears in the market and remember that these new defi has more and more improvements to the old system that introduced by yearn finance. That being said that if roma was not built in a day.
Any negative comments about the trend didn't know how hard to build the long term progress. That's why i will never blame NFT as a bad trend. It needs time time ti evolve.

You are right but what can we do other than joining the race and making money out of them before the hype is no more? That's how crypto space works since the ICO days, we have IEO and now IDO, meme coins follows likewise metaverse too, everything is just time base the smart ones will just join to make money out of them

So far, I've ever had NFT, and I think that was good enough. The assets is just a picture, but it can be sold or swap to money/token.

I believe that almost all of the big company will be interested to make an NFT, beside its potention, but More profit will come after that.

Many projects has made NFT, and I am grateful to try it.
By the way, I have ever tried NFT From MythArt, DeHero, etc.

So far the app I've seen as good for NFT is a gaming platform.  I played axie infinity and thetan arena. Two NFT-based games are very interesting to play. The cool thing is that in this game just as we invest every day or a certain period of each completing mission we will earn coins as a return on the ones we invest.

I am not sure we can compare the ICO phase to the NFT boom, ICO was literally a period of time where any projects could collect money without any legit use case, but when it comes to NFT space, there are some legit projects out there, i was reluctant to jump into the space for a very long time, but once i started looking closer, i changed my perception. Some of the AR VR products some of these projects are launching is outstanding.
