Although we are entering an age where everything has its digital version, I don't see the paper money being obsolete. It is still nice to have physical forms of money. The increasing transaction counts using digital money and online payment has reduced the need to bring cash but there are still things that are better off being paid by paper money.
I agree with you that even though the future later today or digital currency has become a frequently used and become mainstream, but I think that paper money will always exist, no matter what currency symbol is paper money #imo

It is going to remain to exist and will be used by most of us. Because there are some considerations that government will not going to totally adopt the digital currency or else they will create their own digital currency or local online currency that will be able to manipulate by the government. And digital currency will be a secondary currency.
It's the government who will dictate the game, if they want us to use still the paper money then it will not be gone in circulation. What is important is that we can use paper money and digital currencies so it can make our life easier.

Our course easier. But life is not the bankers and the government. They receive income from the fact that people use the centralized currency. Therefore, the paper money will always exist.

The future of paper money is nonexistent. It'll be gone in just a few years because of currencies like Bitcoin and/or payment methods like it. This became now popular on a few websites that are on top which is a good sign for us.
Your prediction is too far from happening, bitcoin is not that big to replace paper money. People trusted paper money since it's very simple and easy to close. Bitcoin is good in online transaction but majority of the people does not rely their needs online. They need paper money to buy their basic needs, so basically bitcoin is just for special transaction online like entertainment and investment for now.

Let's see what the future would bring to this currency.

We are living in different world and crypto world is a different world and we cannot merge the real world and the crypto world. Try to think of it, in the real world we have the government which make it centralized but in crypto no government at all and we have all the freedom to do with our bitcoin.

Well isn't the cryptoworld created by the people in the real world?  Supposedly there is no difference because of the  links between the cryptoworld and real world but the government made it hard for bitcoin to be totally used and show bitcoin potential in the real world.  Well we can't blame them, they want it all controlled and bitcoin is hard to control.
Never heard that the government is controlling bitcoins. It's 100% decentralized so how are they doing it? I don't think this is true at all. If you talk to your friend about bitcoins, will the government go to your house and arrest you? No. You're free in this world. You can do whatever you want in bitcoins. You can advertise and promote it as long as you want. The government isn't holding you back. They don't have a law against bitcoin.

They don't need to control Bitcoin directly. Given that 90% (or even more than that) of all miners reside in China, and miners are the ones who come the closest to whoever might gain control over Bitcoin, the Chinese government has all the necessary tools to control miners, and through them control Bitcoin. Obviously, they can't do it openly since that would cast a shadow on Bitcoin itself while killing it (or trying to kill) would mean losing any control over it altogether. Besides, the level of control they might exert is rather limited per se due to the robust nature of Bitcoin. Moreover, they most likely don't want to control Bitcoin in the way the majority of Bitcoin users think they would...

But this doesn't in the least mean that they don't have an agenda

Assuming China could control miners (not saying I buy that possibility), is there a way to prevent mining in a specific area? Could the Bitcoin board block Chinese mining traffic to restore integrity to the system? (Is that technically possible?) Or because it's decentralized, they have no way to restrict who can mine?

Those are hard questions my friend. Cheesy Is there really a way to answer those? I think you would need someone with a good knowledge with the financial industry which is specializing in crypto currencies.

Yes, those questions should be fairly answerable, I just don't know the answers offhand because I never thought of them in this context until the quoted conversation. I was hoping deisik knew the answer to them, since it was his post that prompted me to wonder if what he was saying was even technically possible. But he either hasn't seen the post with the questions or doesn't know the answers.

The reason why I don't like cryptocurrency to take over the paper money is because when the age of cryptocurrency has come, The government will probably take in charge of it, So I hope that paper money will last long. Anomity and having the control of your bitcoins is what I love and most people do also. I hope it won't change when the age of paper money has ended.

You got a good point there my friend. I dont want also making the government taking charge of the bitcoin movement or even giving a lot of tax just to buy it. That will kill the bitcoin community and it is not very good at all.
I agree with both of you that we do not like to make government taking charge to the policy of bitcoin since now we used bitcoin without tax and we want to make the bitcoin continuous to be stronger without government issue

This really bothers me whenever I think about it. Taxes and fees probably will kill the bitcoin community and there's nothing we could do but to comply. Hopefully it won't happen even in the future let bitcoin be as it is like what it has right now.

The fact here is you bitcoin can't disappear the paper money we are using this since bitcoin is not a part of community we all using paper since we born on earth and we still using it to buy bitcoin it has a bitcoin potenial to grow more our community and economics soon paper money is very important
I agree with you . the power of paper money will still be used by many people in this world. even in some places still do not have a good infrastructure, paper money is spearheading an economy.
We know the power of paper money we can't really enjoy life without these money we using every day and the world using in the same places but if you are not use payper money with in physical things then we are in going to confused.

We cannot deny the fact that we will not enjoy life without paper money, not all the establishments and businesses will adopt to bitcoin even if it will be come very popular, paper money is the simplest money that everyone can use without any complicity.
That's true we can't really deny the enjoyment of using paper money daily and to all things that we bought everyday to live with paper money and it will adopt bitcoin soon and it will be more wonderful feature in the future.

i think paper money is very useful currency and i do not think paper money replace by other currency in future because paper money is approved by government and we can using paper money in any local shop .
useful yet destoyable and destructive, just count how many trees had been cut off for the sake of paper money when human could just use digital money for the sake of our nature and to prevent any global warming so human will not going to extinct if we keep up destroying nature and we're on crisis of any resources

I would not refuse paper money. This is the psychological moment of possession of money or moral pleasure when your wallet full of paper money.

I would not refuse paper money too... but i don't agree with your second statement that the moral pleasure is to have paper money in wallet... because even if i have bitcoins i still feel that pleasure of having money... no matter it is in paper or digital form but it is money at the end...

Oh, yes, it's very nice when all your purses full of money. Regardless of whether they are digital or material. But still, I'm sure, that paper money will long exist
I think the digital currency will continue to grow and inevitably popularity of paper money will continue to decline, and the use of paper money will continue to decrease every year, but I do not think that the ;paper money will disappear,
then what about someone who is cool when it comes to the bar and wanted to treat a lady and he paid her with digital money, it looks weird right? certainly he will open his wallet and pay for it with cash, it's just a parable

what psychological satisfaction for example a billionaire does not hold his money in his pocket and he is still holding billions and i am sure paper currency will vanish in the future ,lets assume 50 years from now everything will be digital .

Pper money is already dead. All governments hate it, they hate that people can move money out of their control. Of course, they love doing it themselves, but they don't want people to be able to do it, this is why they will remove cash in the next decades, and install a closed source government coin hell where they have the keys to everything. Hopefully this is when people will wake up to bitcoin and go all in 100%.

And I always try to keep their savings in a few currency options. Both paper and digital format. It allows me to be more confident in the future and also to get more services, as I have more opportunities.
I will disagree a little bit here, being invested in different fiat is not diversifying your investments you are still invested in one thing fiat, in order to truly diversify your investments you need different instruments for example, gold, bitcoin, real state, art and if you are into it, bonds, stocks etc.
