If bitcoin will be available in physical form like paper money, or physical coins or may be in the shape like debit/credit cards, then there will be decline in use of paper money.

The era of paper money is coming to an end, IMO.
Soon it will be entirely replaced by electronic/plastic analogues.

Oh look like you thinking is way too much. Paper will money will exist in decades. Virtual currency are meant for virtual transations same with fiat currency are for fiat transactions.

No way virtual currency can touch physical transaction without an active internet network.

Yes paper money will always exist and survive and I don't think it has any threat from paper money in future, as the customers of paper money are more in compare to bitcoin.

Try to think of it from another angle.

The world is moving into ecological crisis. Deforestation is an actual global problem.

If humanity has already accepted plastic cards and digital wallets, why not stop producing paper money, bit by bit, and by this reduce wood consumption?

Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

I think that it is pretty easy to understand that in futurr there will be either less paper money, or no paper monry at all, we use less each day now too

And i don't think that paper money will be ever banned, because people are used to paper momey and not other types of money

I think it's dangerous to not have a paper currency because there are so many genius hackers out there now a days that takes like 2 seconds to remove all the funds out of your bank account and run with the money.

It's a very risky business to go all digital.

future of paper money is still fairly good. there are still many who use it. especially for traditional transaction .i think bitcoin and paper money will be running simultaneously.
They will run together because without fiat we cannot convert our bitcoins. Bitcoins will not get the adoption of the majority of people due to its complexity and there are still some who are comfortable in using paper money and they don't want to change it anymore.

If there would be an scenario where would be able to buy anything with bitcoin, then the demand for paper money will reduce or else we will continue to convert our bitcoin to fiat, so fiat will always in demand.
With the number of population in the world, majority of them are poor so we cannot expect them to use bitcoins because they do not transact online. Only a certain percentage will use bitcoins but I am pretty sure it will not surpass the majority.

Yeah and if the future of bitcoin is bright then same goes with paper money too, as the users of paper money are huge in compare to bitcoin, and it will go higher even in future.

For as long as we base the price of bitcoin on dollars or other currency, paper money is going to exist. I would prefer that there be less paper money in circulation, because nowadays, online transactions are the easier way to go. You don't have to carry too much cash whenever you go to malls or when you need to deposit at a bank.

The future of the paper money will be the same as it is now, and we cannot say that paper money will get ban, as paper money has their nations as supporters and they will love to suport their money and will choose it for their national use.

Paper money is not going anywhere, even if bitcoin hits the mainstream there are still many users who will prefer to use paper money as they are used to it and its very convenient to use.

I agree with you, even bitcoin is going to be popular in the future. The use of paper money is still there unless the government will going to implement something to make the paper money replace by bitcoin or any means of cashless society.

I think that paper money is very good and i don't really want to change something, for me is much better to use physical money insteed of  digital.

Yeah If I love bitcoin then I love paper money too, as I love to hold bundle of physical cash in my wallet and that gives me best feeling and I feel that I am a rich guy.

Modern economies can function just fine without paper money. The big problem are third world countries. As long as they don't get to live in a much better economy they will need physical money

The future itself of the bitcoin is bad due to the fact it will get less more used, everything is gonna be digital and the paper money will soon or later disappear, its really a matter of time.

I didn't get you, if everything is gonna digital then how bitcoin will be used less? We will see increase in bitcoin transactions in future but the fact is paper money will also accompany bitcoin.

I guess that's not true. bitcoin is indeed very good, but I guess time a coin has passed, and it is a hassle. if bitcoin is made in the currency, I think bitcoin will be created in the form of paper money. because I think it is the most practical shape for a means of transaction
