Cryptocurrencies have grown over the past two years. Even though decentralized, this currency is now used in many countries. A lot of virtual transactions are carried out using cryptocurrencies and the government has slowly started accepting this currency.

...

I just want to know your opinions to these 2 questions:
1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?
2. How long have you been into cryptocurrency and how does it changed your life since then?
3. How did you know cryptocurreny?

It's no secret that crypto has grown into a "force to be reckoned with" since its inception back in 2009. Bitcoin started as a cryptocurrency mined by CPUs, where anyone could participate in its consensus with a computer. I'm amazed by how quickly Bitcoin has grown both in development, and user acceptance in only 11 years since it was created. Time certainly flies in the Blockchain world, filled with new exciting ventures that keep you asking for more. It's hard enough to keep track of everything in crypto land nowadays.

Without further ado, here are my answers to your questions:

1. Cryptocurrencies have helped me get a "better edge" of my financial life, by allowing me to control my own money. I can feel confident that my crypto balance will always be there, as governments and other third-parties are out of the system. Before crypto, I used to have bad spending habits, which made me almost bankrupt. After I've discovered it, my life changed completely.

2. I've been into crypto since 2014, back when Bitcoin was worth around $320 per coin. I've started with faucets, and then joined signature campaigns which helped me learn a lot about how Bitcoin and crypto works. It has completely changed by my life as I'm now able to get a better grip of my finances, take care of my privacy, and truly be my own bank. In my early days, I was a victim of scams/frauds in the crypto space. There were a lot of cloud mining services which promised huge gains in such a short amount of time. By that time, I was too greedy thinking that I was going to be able to multiply my investment the more I invested into such services.

I've used to spend a lot of crypto into so called "Hashlets" from GAW Miners, just to lose it all in the long run. Cloudminr.io was another cloud mining scam/ponzi which I've lost a substantial amount of crypto. Based on these experiences, I've learned to always perform a research of a specific company before going all in with my hard-earned money. Participating in signature campaigns, has allowed me to explore the forum more throughly by learning new things about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Since then, I've been able to manage my crypto responsibly by following the necessary security precautions, using hardware wallets, and mining coins on my own. I always try to avoid cloud mining services, relying only on PoS cryptocurrencies which pay you at the protocol level (no middleman involved). Kudos to Satoshi, for creating a truly decentralized form of money that gives the power back to the people instead of greedy banks subject to corruption, fraud, and manipulation.

3. A few months before November 2014, I've stumbled into a news article where a "hacker" stole some Bitcoin from an exchange. At that time, I was too skeptical about Bitcoin as most people said that it was used for illegal activity. I believed that Bitcoin was going to become a complete failure because of this. Little did I know about how Bitcoin truly worked for Peer-to-Peer electronic transactions.  I began to look for more information about Bitcoin across the web, and discoverd the original whitepaper written by Satoshi Nakamoto. Upon reading it, my interests into Bitcoin and crypto have sparked. I then joined this forum in November 2014, and been expanding my knowledge into crypto and Blockchain technology since then. It's been a wonderful journey after all these years. Smiley

It doesn't matter right if I answer just one interesting question? Smiley

Q: How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?
A: The crypto world really gave me a good opportunity. So that I can do useful things in my youth. Before this, I used leisure time for useless activities, until I found out about bounty campaigns from my friends on social media. Since then my activities have changed, as much as possible I use my leisure time to do side work with a bounty campaign. On the bright side, I get extra money so I can make my parents happy.

There are a lot of people from the start of the bitcoin ignore this kind of coin because they cannot see a good market potential on it but they are wrong because the bitcoin from the previous years up today shows a good market income which is good.
Well coz basically no one comes big at starting point unless it is already big. Any coin could be "bitcoin", if ethereum was created first then it will be the most used crypto and will be on top, it is just the time matters on this kind of industry. Even when I discovered the use of bitcoin, I was doubtful of it at first coz I was not used to transact using digital currency.

When the market price of the cryptocurrency gives a good market income and profit there are a lot of people easily get encouraged to support the use of the crypto and now they adopt and support even the not popular coin which is good because they know now the possibility and the capability of the coin. But still, we cannot make sure because most of the coin becomes dead coin and that is not good that can cause of losing your investment.
All I can say to the crypto adoption, most obviously with bitcoin adoption is that,  it is the beginning of opening the gates of innovation in financial terms and every thing that comes with crypto is doing just fine today.

1. Tbh, I don't really use cryptos on daily transactions. I only use cryptos after receiving payments after doing bounty campaigns.
2. I started cryptos on late months of 2017.  From then I started joining bounty campaigns and I can say that I' kinda disappointed with most of them cause more of them are just scam projects. I only got to receive good payment during those last months of 2017.
3. A friend introduced me to cryptos. After learning that I can make money from it, I then started joining campaigns.

1. Crypto has helped so much in my life with anonymity. I have bought items online without having to use my Credit card details or my personal info.

Privacy is really important in cryptocurrency as it talks about assets, identity can be used for hacking and scamming so in some transactions, anonymity is really important. Cryptocurrency is a good material to use in many transactions as it is less hassle and can make you safe and secured in using it.

2. I've been in crypto for over 4 years now and I do not have regrets.

I'm using crypto for 5 years, and in 5 years, I don't see any bad issues about bitcoin beside its volatility in the market. But if you're really trusting bitcoin with all your heart and you're willing to invest to that, you should know how to deal with the market because it is changing and moves from time to time.

3. I got to know crypto through friends and internet.

I know crypto through curiosity and urge to have a huge amount of profit just by staying in the internet. I really understand how technology is advancing and at the same time the movement and happenings in the market. This curiosity made me support my self and have money to become stable, but still cryptocurrency is not a getting rich scheme, there's something more about behind using cryptocurrency.

There are many members who share their stories here. It was truly a very valuable experience.
Even Bad or Good stories still those are need to be accounted because people can have some idea or knowledge depend on their experiences and this is much even better if the story are legit an not just created to make posts count.
I know bitcoin from my friend at university, he taught me a lot of things and became my mentor in trading. I am very grateful to know him.
so you are a legit trader now?that is very rare for those who was just thought and not doing it well specially in a small margin of time.
Thanks to this, I was able to realize my dream which was previously very difficult to achieve.
Do you mean that Trading here can make you attain your dreams?please don't mate and never be a fool to rely in volatile market because there is a real life ahead you and by your studies this can be achieved.

Hello everybody. The cryptocurrency theme is my favorite theme. When I first started cryptocurrency, this topic helped me a lot by replenishing my financial reserve thanks to the bounty of various projects. But time has passed and now helps those that over time I approximately began to guess the cyclical nature of the rise or fall of prices. And in general, thanks to the cryptocurrency, I consider myself absolutely free - I myself am a bank, I decide when and in what way I will work and withdraw money. Generally it is very cool. I have been in the cryptocurrency empire since 2017, but it has radically changed my life. I was just looking for extra money on the Internet, unfortunately, the first thing I came across was forex trading. Having lost a lot of money on Forex, I still gained experience in trading on the stock exchange over time - of course, this has come in very handy for me. In general, I am happy that I was inspired by this topic, because I am sure that cryptocurrency is the future of the entire financial market.

A lot of reasons why we got here, who brings in. But we also know that neither all of them coming are sticking into crypto, yet they also quit and fired.
That's life in here, some people live while some people also leaving. Cryptocurrency is a long way to go before all have noticed it.
Of having a decade of its existence, still not enough to get noticed.

1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?

Check this out, currently most part of the world is in total lockdown meaning work has been suspended which also result to people not having where they could get paycheck considering most workers depend solely on the government to hire them for work. Without knowing about cryptocurrency I don't think I would had been able to survive this lockdown as in the last month, my work hasn't paid with the reason of not having customers due to the pandemic lockdown. What I'm currently depending on are my investment made before now and those investment are in bitcoin. Just glad having has made the price of bitcoin increase more for my profit to double.

Your answer in number two is somewhat confusing since if you are using Bitcoin for three months, then that means you are using it to buy things like what we are doing in fiat, right? Not all of us can do that though.

1. How does cryptocurrency help you in your daily lives?

Nothing to be honest.

I am investing in some cryptocurrencies but I am still holding it. I am using my salary for that but in the long run, I can use some of my profit from my investments to pay some bills but I don't count that as "daily" since that just happens sometimes.

2. How long have you been into cryptocurrency and how does it changed your life since then?

I don't remember if that is 2015 or 2016 but we will stick with 2016 since my profit is registered that year. I've been doing a lot of things in the past and that also includes mining in PC and doing faucets. Eventually, they died, and then I went here where I could earn some cryptocurrencies I can use to invest and trade, here in the forum. It did change since at first, I can pay some of my bills since, at that time, I am unemployed. It did great in the past since the price is still starting to grow and gave me a good amount of profit.

3. How did you know cryptocurreny?

I knew when my friend told me about it. The place I am working at that time is closing so we need something we could earn as we are unemployed.

It feels good a lot who are into bitcoin learn it from a friend. I learn it from a friend too. It shows how important word of mouth is. I hope everyone would always try to talk about bitcoin to their friends if they have the chance. I'm into bitcoin because a friend tells me the story of how he was earning through bitcoin(trading). He also tells me the risk and its fine, I started to read about its risk because I'm that interested to earn too. I understand that it wasn't easy money, lost a few dollars, but its an opportunity! Let's be honest, we are interested in something if its an opportunity to earn.

Since then, I'm into bitcoin and still trying to learn something new about it, also trying to tell it to my other friends too. However, I've learn that bitcoin isn't only a mere opportunity to earn, its a great technology that can be used in the future. And I hope, people wouldn't see it as a scam, if you would tell someone about bitcoin too, don't forget about the risk and don't ever tell them that its an easy money. Its a great investment but it has risk, you won't earn in just a night.

For me, cryptocurrency helps me getting paid. It's really that simple. I no longer have to set up an account and do banking stuff. I create a wallet and back it up and I'm ready to go. I am in control the safety of my funds relies solely on me. Noone else to deal with or blame. I like it that way. It feels private and in control. It is also very easy and within minutes anyone can be paid for their work just by making a simple wallet. What could be better?
The fact that is is a tool of liberty and freedom just makes it more badass since I naturally am against the clutches of the government.

Most of people here are just Buying for the knowledge that they can become richer but have no idea if when the price falls down.
and besides they are the roots of panicking because they are not ready for the other side of the market as they have only expect gains .

Not the knowledge,,, but the mistaken expectation. They all read some stupid news about Bitcoin becoming 1000x, or being worth $1Million somewhere, and saw all the friends post stuff about people with lambos. Who does not wast to be rich right? So when things do not go as expected they panic.

3. How did you know cryptocurreny?

Cryptocurrencies have given me an income, which helps me pay a portion of my bills.
I don't remember the exact time I entered the cryptocurrency market, probably around early 2014.
I heard about bitcoin from a friend, I tried google to learn about bitcoin and love it.

I have been making use of cryptocurrency since 2015 and that's about six years now and I'm not going to stop, I will continue to make use of it. And as for how bitcoin has been helping me; well, I would say in lots of ways. Bitcoin is the first investment I have ever made and it worked out perfectly for me. I am not going to say it's because I got in early, there are still the possibilities of making good profit when you invest in Bitcoin now ,and that's if you do it the right way.
Good for you, you discovered the bitcoin at a very early year as I am. I know, you know how big the cryptocurrency now compare to when we first saw it, the growth of cryptocurrency is amazing we even see it at mall, online shopping websites and hotel bookings that accepts crypto mainly the bitcoin. I never expected bitcoin to go reach at this point where the mainstream media also cares on the environment where it moves.

Cryptocurrencies has helped me in many ways. It makes me to have unbelievable income when I trade, passive income for my staking and ha made me to have financial freedom

Cryptocurrencies were not designed and should not be promoted as trading get-rich quick schemes.
Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme but the last time i checked, a lot of experienced crypto traders have make quick profit through the current surge in the price of the market and this is what the above user is trying to express here.

Passive income for staking is another TERRIBLE idea for entering into this space.
That's totally wrong cause it all depends on the coin people stake in.
