With the Halving in mind and assuming that the value of bitcoins is increasing steadily, I'd say the price would probably cap at $750 after the Halving and then settle down at around maybe $450 a few weeks/months after the halving because of the big bitcoin dump that will definitely happen. Pretty much the same as what happened in 2014. There was big leap of bitcoin value and then (almost) everyone started dumping and the value continuously started dropping.
The pump... I think it goes up and down a lot but on a higher level than without the halving.
Price will go up to 750 I guess and settle at 350...

the halving hype is real and it will only get bigger the closer we get to the actual halving time. and my speculation is that it will happen around summer time and the price will easily go to $1000 and it can even go higher to $2000 but that has lower possibility right now and even if the price comes back down it will settle around $600

5k usd is a bit of an overestimate... I seriously can't imagine it going that high in such a short period of time.
It's basically 10x the market cap of BTC in a few months, I mean...

After the halving, my bet is that all the kids holding out for 1K, 5K, Bitcoins, are going to have their hearts broken.
Before the Halving, I like a top of around $850.
If it gets to that even by mid- year I will running in the streets naked!

I opened a long position. Down right now but not worried.
a) Already can feel it's presence in a slow and gradual manner.
b) At most, will be around $700 even with the supply cutting into half.

you are mistaken my friend.
a couple of altcoins like litecoin have a history of following bitcoin's price but that is not even guaranteed to happen.
and the rest of them has never moved with bitcoin price so i don't see any reason why they should start now.

And 500$ is only 50$ away now.
