In my opinion, it is better to invest on an ICO with a working product or MVP which you can determine or you can analyze by yourself as an investor if this ICO is worth your investment or just a waste of time because some whitepapers are just written by writers online that is hired by the CEO which is a really great way to lure you in the trap.

I think that any project with a ready-to-use product before the crowdfunding is more likely to be a success, than an idea on a sheet of paper. But still, it is not a rule, more like a trend.

Definitely an investor will choose a project with a ready and working product, and not a project with a beautiful idea, which is only in words.

Most people prefer projects with finished products. Most of the time the final product or service dosen't match the whitepaper. However you should invest in a project that you believe in.

Friends, I would like to hear your opinion. How do you choose a project to invest? I believe that it is better to invest in projects that already have a finished product (application, masternod, etc.) What do you think?
Of course it is better to invest in projects that have an MVP or at least are working on one. A well written whitepaper without a proper use case and no mentioning of a working product is not really a good sign.

Both are important components of the project, since the technical documentation describes the product of the platform and its detailed analysis, and the product of the platform is designed to implement the platform itself and in my opinion both aspects are important for any project

Finished Products have more potential and the chance of earning more in the safe way is huge there. White paper is not a bad idea. But, when pitted against the finished products, it does not hold the same appeal and the sense of security as the finished products.

Between the two obviously the best decision would be the finished product as you'd see the real world uses for it rather than investing in a project that's still in the development phase and has no gurantee. When looking for important factors it isn't just about the white paper, you have to look into the team, the idea and how they plan to move forward with it, how responsive they are to the community. With all that you can hope that the project delivers.

Well, it is safe this way. Also almost everyone needs some insurance or guarantee in their business, so they could easily trust in that. But if doesn't have the risk of earning a fortune in it.

I invested in projects with a finished product and I can say that despite the fact that this should give certain advantages to the project, it is not always possible to collect such projects normal amounts when conducting an ICO.

I will surely prefer the finished product over the whitepaper idea always. Because a lot of projects are good on whitepaper, the idea and concept looks good but it is the implementation that is the issue. Most of them tend to deliver something that is totally different from what is in the whitepaper.

You should choose a potential project to invest, Don't Invest into the projects you don't make sure it's good. In my opinion. You should consider about a project , like a WP, Team, Website. , you can check website here: https://www.whois.com/whois/ under 3 months is bad. Good luck guy!.

Of course it is better to only look for products that have a working product with a real world application, rather than spending your money on the promises of a complete stranger, but these projects are few and far between. The number of projects in the crypto-sphere that will actually ever be used in the real world is a single-digit number.

ICO whitepapers are a generally a mess. Most are trash, many are plagiarized, some don't even have a whitepaper. They are more useful for weeding out the many obvious scam projects than they are for finding the very rare project that is legit. This doesn't stop newbies sending their money over to these scam projects though.
