I see the Marxist anti-innovation bandwagon is still rolling...

hahaha. rofl.
Thanks for making me laugh.

Well look at VTC - i would call that algo tested and established now.
Look at x11 - there were some issues

pure pos? Would consider risky. Maybe later. I like pos/pow hybrid for now - look cgb and ppc is tested.

- and no, i am not digital industry sockpuppet. Just made a new account to avoid becoming too famous around here Wink

Valid point, but I hope you're not missing this opportunity. We're taking in part in the evolution of cryptocurrency! New innovations should always be welcome, that's how evolution does it: Throw things at the wall and see if it sticks.

those initial innovation-hype-pumps are good for daytrading. But longterm-investement, no.

I store my crypto-wealth in btc, ltc, uno, mec, qrk, nmc, xpm, ppc for longterm btw.
Those are innovative enough and they have the community and devs. All of them will be around for long term so i feel relatively safe storing money in them for longer periods of time.

Don't get me wrong. I love trading those innovation-hypes for shortterm. Move in for a day or two and then back to btc.

Well, i felt someone had to say it. Too many innovation-sissy-types roaming the forum now. Too much herd-mentality. Wink

Who is this guy?

100% bet people say you are my sock puppet. Ha .

Re other guys comments on NXT not until you just brought it up which is somewhat telling no ?

Those guys constantly asking and looking for innovation are on the wrong track. Here is why:

-bitcoin itself is still beta
-bitcoin itself is not fully understood by the masses or even most people outside this forum -  how you going to sell them even more innovation? They can't stomack it right now.
-new technology requires testing. It is full of errors (bugs). Most investors don't want to be alpha- and betatesters with their money.
-we had a good amount of failcoins which were really innovative - think flutter, think heavycoin. There are quite a few.

New algo, new features - the same applies.
Innovation always comes with errors at first.
So innovative coins are really more risky to invest in than coins that only put tested technology to work.

When investing serious money in alts look for developers commitement, marketing, community and security in a coin. Innovation is secondary at this point especially since every technology that has been alpha and betatested and was prooven to work over a period of time can be adopted by any coin that has that commited dev who is implementing it.

So i really don't care about innovation so much anymore. I care about the devs and the community aswell as network security. I know this is the right longterm-strategy.

+1

well said

only two types of people call out for "gimmicks"

1. the Uneducated on all things Crypto-currency

2. the sock puppets making the scam.

Some conservative investement-strategy in this fast moving scene.
