However, of course forum rank is not a requirement for learning about bitcoin or participating in activities on this forum.
Forum rank is actually recognition from other forum members for your contribution to this forum.
I believe there are many people, even those who are not registered on this forum, who are helped by this forum to better understand bitcoin and crypto and who actively follow this forum but don't participate in forum discussions.

Like wise me too, the journey of the raking step give me joy and happiness, hopefully one day, I will become a member, from newbie to Jr. Member Rank, I will keep doing my best and commenting and contributing positive words that add value to mankind. And this bitcointalk forum has really helped and is where information and knowledge been shared.

I admire your consistent effort in pushing yourself. I am seriously new here and I don't even know where to begin.
Am I only supposed to stick to beginners and help section for now?
I am also very much interested in Bitcoin and have considered taking offline classes once I get the funds.
Are there any specific criteria I have to meet here, before I start gaining or ranking up like you?

I know the journey isn't that easy at all, but a devoted user and a knowledgeable person don't finds it very difficult to survive or increased in rank, I have also seen some newbies who just registered and make few posts they got their required merits to would catarpult to the next rank which I think they even focused on rank rather on what they are learning or their projects they had in mind. But that not withstanding, I say congratulations for your efforts and activeness in this forum.

First of all congratulations for getting member position.Your happiness is right and you should be happy at this position because people try hard to reach here but still they don't get this rank easily.It is not uncommon to get a member position here and people are putting in a lot of effort and hard work.

I totally agree with you that this platform is a platform where you get complete information about crypto currency market as well as many new things.Here you get useful information about different cryptocurrencies markete, different exchanges and different wallets etc.


It is a great experience place for newbies from where they can get a great experience.Here everyone shares their useful tips and imparts their knowledge to others.Which makes it easier for people to decide, especially newbies.All the information and useful tips gathered in this way are hard to find on any other platform.

We always hope to welcome newbies in here. You've got a decent Merits to activity ratio and that's fine by me; it'll be nice if you can LEANR in the process too...cus alot of peeps that rush into acquiring 'em ranks haven't even got an idea what the forum is all about....That's actually the problem we're fighting today.
Yes, you should've made your post in the specified topic as mentioned above. You know, that's the reasons ion even like making them post about my rankings..cus at a point, it was always looking like a beg-for-merit thread.

First of all I wish to congratulate you on this your achievement into a "Member rank" of the forum, I know it wasn't easy, but just like you said with determination and hard work you were able to achieve this very height you are today. Because in as much as you keep to the forum rules by not posting plagiarized content, encourage scam (i.e 1xbit) or use A.I for generating your contents, you will always be on the safer side in this forum.

Congratulations OP. I am glad you didn't give up because you wouldn't have achieved this feat. In the journey to success, you will face many problems that will try to deter you from pursuing your goals and aspiration. My early days in this forum were not also easy. Bitcointalk made me understand and believe in this cryptocurrency and I cannot thank this forum enough.

I also encountered some challenges like criticism and others but I saw the forum as a where you have to be humble to learn. As a student, the teachers have the right to correct and sometimes criticize, but you must take them in good fate. I never also thought that I will make it to the level I am now, but if you are teachable, consistent, and persistent, there is nothing you can not achieve. If you continue with this effort OP, achieving the next rank will also become possible.

07 January 2023, the day of registration means that it has been running for less and more than five months, now you have reached 66 Merit with 62 posts with member positions, congrats to you, that's a good experience for the future.

An achievement is a happiness for yourself, it is a sign that the results of your hard work in providing information and postings are appreciated, for that your struggle is still long here, keep doing and providing the best information for the community here, you need to show even better to the members here in all fields, hopefully by the end of 2023 you can reach the rank of Sr or Legen.

You can move your thread to some other board but not in other thread specifically but you can post in that particular thread.The moderator also do the same job if someone report it or they find it under wrong board but not under someone else's thread.

So yes as he has already posted the same content in that one he can lock this topic or delete it if wants it from here.You can copy your content and it would be better if he deletes this one so no two posts remains exactly the same even if he's the original writer of both in my opinion.

Op congratulations on your promotions I know how it feels because I once was a Member rank like you before.  Anyways you have 66 merits which 34 merits left to become eligible to reach full member rank here in the forum so keep up the good work. Just maintain your momentum than for sure you will rich in the highest rank here in the forum soos as possible. But as of now like what @_act_  said above you can post your achievement event on that thread or else you can create your thread on that board but make sure it's self-moderated.

Congratulations  friend and you've actually done very well for yourself and I love seeing people celebrating and being excited about a new rank which is a show of commitment and passion for what he or she is doing.

I want to urge you to keep striving  and don't get discouraged  no matter tye amount of criticism  you night get but rather you should build on those criticisms a d draw positive energy to grow from whatever criticism  you get here.

Assuming you make a topic. You wanted to make it self moderated but you did not. You lock the thread and make another same topic which is self moderated. That is understandable that it is not copy and paste. That is what that happens in this regard.

I thought there's a rule that forbids copying ones post, but one can quote in other not to make it look like plagiarism, so that the quote being made will serve as a reference to the post he's making to the celebration thread, though that's my own perception to it i don't know if am right or not but you can make it more clear to understand the proper way as expected when moving a thread to another thread and not to another board.

He does not need to quote. He should copy the OP content, lock this thread, go to the thread we are talking about to paste it there. No need of quoting it.

In addition for him to save the stress of rewriting another composition for his ranking up, once he locked the thread, he can quote the entire contents and copy them to past on that particular ranking up thread on reputation board, and write additional information to why to move the post to the appropriate place where ranking up should be celebrated, also if you'd been familiar with the reputation board, maybe you would have been place with the opportunity of coming across the thread once.

You can’t move a thread to someone else’s, I think you should lock this thread, and post on the other one suggested by _act_.

I'm glad to congratulate myself for ranking up with two Bitcoin gold as symbols having possessing the rank of member, When I started this journey I thought that I will not get to this certain rank because I was discouraged with some comments of criticism in my thread but I was determined to continue the race because I have desire to learn and understand bitcoin through bitcointalk, my determination motivated me to read other people comment's and I told myself that i will reach to the position of member rank one day, and today I became a member.
What I noticed in this forum is that, it's all about determination and desires but not all about desperation, and secondly I think that consistent research is one of the keys that keeps users moving forward and not to be backslide in anything concerning Bitcoin.

When I registered in bitcointalk I don't know too well concerning forum and bitcoin, but with the help of forum I'm able to know some of the wallets that's good for bitcoin storage and some valuable altcoin that's good for investment, so without forum I won't have known altcoin as sub bitcoin and electrum wallet as a good wallet, assuming I have not found myself in bitcointalk forum i won't have known all these today. I want to openly say that I'm grateful for been a member of bitcointalk and also founding myself in the mixed of people who embrace bitcoin and also discuss the positivity of bitcoin. I have noticed that many other people obtain the knowledge of Bitcoin through bitcointalk forum, I use this opportunity to thank everyone for a link shared for me to update me with the goodies of forum.
