wow long thread.

i noticed that the flames at the border have 3 characterictics.
- big or small
- inner color is green or purple
- outer color is yellow or red

those 3 are each binary informations

i asume that the flames that are weird at the border were too much, so they dont count (the flames that are only red and very small).
i came also up with 152 flames.

i made a script that checks all something like 14000 possible orders of the flames so that the amount of flames are 256.
that can be converted to hex and that is the private key.

my first script would check on blockchain.info service how much balance is on there but i cant do that fast or i get blocked for some seconds. So i decided to only calculate the piublic key and check if it is the right one. with that i can check them allot faster because i dont need any service.

but i need to improve the script because i dont think i have all possible orders yet.

Check the OP... The guy who posted it and the Twitter guy coin_artist.
It's a girl!

Anyone know if this game is still relevant to this puzzle or did someone get past it? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.15012261
mirth won that one, it's over.

Also something brought up precisely is that this address holds some Leat counterparty assets, not sure if relevant.
https://counterpartychain.io/asset/LEAT
Those tokens were used when the puzzle was being played on LTB forum, which lead up to the image.

Best image available is at post 1 of this thread.

Very interesting proposition. Who came up with this?.  I will inquire more.

Here's the old solution which is rediculous.

Looking at hex code 64 characters is my guess at the minute.

Hi all.

Been following this alongside hammers400 and may have found a few things and crossed some stuff off the list as no good.

The key having ribbons short-long-long-short-long-short has prompted me to start there. As perhaps this is the key to deciphering the code.

So far with the 011010 I've tried getting the Hex color code for that R1, G16, B16. But couldn't find a single pixel in the image that had that color.
011010 is also 26 in binary to decimal, which could mean in the short-long patterns we're looking for letters of the alphabet.
Coin_artist's friend, Tyler, mentioned the original players gained access to a high-definition version of the image. Can any of these original players confirm whether or not the twitter image coin_artist shared is good enough to follow, or is there a higher-res image that makes things easier to work with?

Additional findings, or major coincidences:

Counted the flames in total = 152
The inner flames = 98.
152 in decimal is 98 in Hexadecimal, so thinking we have to use Hex in here somewhere for sure.

There are 63 squares on this alternatives style chessboard, and 63 long inner flames. Does anyone see anything we can do with that?

coin_artist has confirmed The Pheonix and the Turtle helped to inspire the piece,
https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems/45085/the-phoenix-and-the-turtle-56d2246f86c06

So we've started looking to that for clues based on the poem. On the Dove's wing we can read what appears to be "FO" (square A6), and on the Phoenix neck there appears to be an "Ld" (Square C6/C5). Combining these we get "FOLd". We're wondering if this could mean anything to anyone? Like do we need to fold the image over on itself etc. Or are we just finding coincidences in random brushstrokes.

Hoping these ideas can get some people thinking.
I have limited coding knowledge, but very keen to help solve this. Smiley

This is very interesting.

Also, think about what we ultimately are looking for and work backwards. A long string (is every private key the same length?) of letters and numbers. 26 letters with a way to differentiate upper and lowercase (or two sets of 26 letters) , 10 numbers. 62 digits total

seems bizzare website though what the hell is hidden in that code Huh
Think this Malbolgne lead isnt the key and a dead end.

Yes the date rules it out.

have generated new binary code and morse code using the key colour ribbons as reference.
Count the red flames only as 1 and any others as zero.

I got this on the inner...
1110101111111010001110001110101000011110001110111010000000110100111011010010101 0000011001011110

converted this to morse 1=dash 0=dot above binary equals ---.-.-------.-...---...---.-.-....----...---.---.-.......--.-..---.--.-..-.-.-.....--..-.----.

Translate to text using three morse code inputs and I got
OROOKSOSORDUOSOWKSSWRWKKURDSGROD

maybe something maybe nothing Huh

Yeah I've tried all those the actual programs listed need decoding before they will run. Invalid characters etc.
Interesting that there's also a book about chess and the circles of hell training. The more I look at the moves in chess the closer a key looks likely to be generated from certain moves.

Any one know how to compile the malbolge programs on that bizzare website? http://c0d3.attorney
They appear encrypted.  Huh Could be down the wrong rabbit hole but fascinating non the less!

Maybe here?

An observation:

If you number the flames starting at 1, then every even numbered flame's length produces this consistent pattern all around the image:

0 1 1 0 1 1 0 1 1 0 1 1 ....  (short = 0, tall = 1)

The 011 pattern repeats 25 times but only for the lengths.

The odd lengths (the bits between the 011 pattern) seem random and all color bits seem random too.

So the information encoded in the lengths cannot possibly be part of a private key (at least not the even numbered ones).

Here is what I got for the odd flame heights in the same order as the pattern.

0101010100110000111100001101101010111111111100010000111101111110101100001101

I have run it through a few scripts and cannot get anything useful out of it.  If you break it up into groups of 4 and assign letters to them, I still don't see anything useful.

0101 0101 0011 0000 1111 0000 1101 1010 1011 1111 1111 0001 0000 1111 0111 1110 1011 0000 1101

I I N E F E V V T F F S E F A R T E D  <--- This is the best one I got.

There has got to be something hidden in the odd flame heights.  It wouldn't make sense to use the colors because you need those for the private key.

I converted the 0's and 1's to morse code and tried that as well.

.-.-.-.-..--....----....--.--.-.-.----------...-....----.------.-.--....--.-

ARCANE IONS MAKE TWO MOVES ONTO MAP I WET.

I translated the Morse code and have got RKRWSWGSGGKWOOGUSWGOORGSGT

Which has lead me to http://c0d3.attorney/0.1?m=140

Think there's a link here. This is to do with the red ribbons and the butterfly lock. There's a key in one of these programs.

...
Im sorry for the possible inconvenient post, but I found this puzzle very intriguing and would like to join. But I would like to know first who guarantees that this prize is going to be handled to the winner?

This is an old puzzle that is still ongoing. Many have tried and many have failed.
The answer to the puzzle is the private key to the address that contains the bitcoin prize.

This is the address in question: 1FLAMEN6rq2BqMnkUmsJBqCGWdwgVKcegd

If you are successful, you yourself will take your prize.

Good luck.  Cool

Just found this post... Very interesting. Any deadline for solving the puzzle?

It looks like pig pen cipher to me.  The last word on the 2nd line is 'DECORATING'.

this is what i got when i tried deciphering using that cipher:

Code:
thora he art much oig heerabad dinners
experienced papua chamberlain decoratng
flunkies infrared insignificance
hern graham ignored iceland
