The first 100 'Proof-like' rounds are in; and they look *almost* as nice as the double struck Proofs.
      Still pretty awesome. I'm thinking Christmas ornaments or maybe giving one away with every 100oz of the general issue strikes, regardless - once I get to the general issue strike phase the DIE will have been sand blasted, so there cant be any more shiny ones after that.
      The most obvious difference can be seen when examining the definition of the small hairs in Lady Liberty's bun, though it doesn't seem to come thru as well in cell phone photos no matter how large or sharp I take the images. I'd also say that the 'mirror' is more mirrory.. in the PROOF coin.  It's obvious great care was taken to make sure nothing fussed with the sheen of the PROOF coins before they were encapsulated, where as the ones in tubes are only like 98% as awesome..

I aught to have 100 of the Proof-like, un-numbered ones in hand TODAY  =)..
    The SATIN finish one - that will be waay cheaper, will be some time in the future.. maybe even as late as November unless people would like to prepay for bulk orders or else someone would like to work a conference with me someplace to move some as I'm kinda tapped for funds and flush with proof/proof-like rounds.

You're silly. You could have altered that question when you pasted verbatim from Bitcoin Specie Project BCT thread (tap.tap.tap), and I know you really have no issue understanding the project; because, well (for anyone who doesn't know EndCiv; he lives in a shed in my back yard), ..you live in a shed in my back yard.  

Sure, one might call the initial PROOF rounds souvenirs and all could be considered theme based collectables, but I intend for the bulk of rounds to be available, in larger quantity's for just over the cost to produce them; so like any alternative currency, the ALTCOIN SPECIE is a currency which may be traded.  When Bernard vonNothaus started the Liberty Dollar, Silver was just over $6/oz.  If people traded them today for private goods and services they would be considerably more "valuable".  I DO in-fact on every occasion, trade my labor for silver to anyone who can deliver one as payment.

"MONEY" is what people say it is..  I LOVE SILVER.
I LOVE Alternative forms of Money.. I love trading value.
I hate DEBT and I LOATHE TRADING DEBT RECEIPTS.

You want to buy something, you read it's price tag.
When you see a USD price-tag on a pair of shoes, you aren't upset that the shoes aren't Bitcoins.. they're shoes.
They're not USD Themed shoevenirs..

And have you ever tried to imagine the price of 'something' cheap in BTC...?
At the time of this posting SILVER is trading at $18.0716 USD..

Do you know what $18.0716 is in BTC?   It's 0.004269 BTC.
I know this because I've scanned the QR Code on that coin.

No. This is my FIRST Silver creation.
The New Liberty Dollar was created by Joseph VanaughPerling, known here as New Liberty.
New Liberty also made the first BITCOIN SPECIE round.
Both Joseph and I use the 'Lady Liberty' image, made famous by Bernard von NotHaus' Liberty Dollar.

Are you the person that made the new liberty dollar coin?

     I did the very best I am able, to preserve the ideals of both the Liberty Dollar and Bitcoin Specie, in continuing through to the Altcoin Specie; which is my v2.0 of the legacy. I am very pleased with how they came out. We did of course have an original Liberty Dollar Plaster Master to work with for the 3D Obverse image and William J LaMere Jr. & the Artists @ North American Mint did exceptional work reducing it as well as cutting the 2D reverse DIE.


I know (*cough* Romes) the numbered first strikes are pricy and I thank you for helping the project at its inception. =) Were it not for the (small percentage of) collectors pieces, this project wouldn't have ever gotten off the ground [If you're not treating yourself, you're cheating yourself]. The SATIN ROUNDS will be considerably more reasonably priced, and still suitable for gifting.

These are really beautiful 1oz silver proofs.  I wouldn't usually purchase a proof just due to the premium cost but wanted to help the project along and am quite happy with mine.  I'll edit with a pic of #11 when I'm able to get to that.

These are real quality rounds to add to a coin collection or if you just want to help out this project.

      My goal of course is NOT to strike PROOF rounds, but to create an alternative currency, being also a commemorative piece, which people will collect and hope to use in trade.. while holding an allure and still being affordable..
