Bitcoin will be soon disappeared as there is still no guarantee that if BTC is real and will last forever, so make sure all the risk factor before investment in the crypto world.

Bitcoin will always exist if there is the Internet, and technology is always developing.
Maybe Bitcoin will be eliminated. There will be other technologies to replace Bitcoin.
The value of Bitcoin is unlimited.
No one can predict the future.
But the next few years will definitely be Bitcoin as a hot spot.

Infinity is a long time  Wink

It will last untill it's replaced by something better.

Just like fiat and gold is being replaced by crypto in these years. The only reason it hasn't happened yet, is because governments are trying to prevent it.

I have my doubts about the lifespan of Bitcoin actually. I really want it to last until infinity of course. Because I'd love to continue to make investments into it in the future also. And I'd like to use it where it is accepted as a payment method. But the lifespan of it really depends on the people. Unless people stop demanding Bitcoin, there will be no problem at all. But in the other case, we will have a big problem.
There's no way why suddenly everyone will hate bitcoins and why the demand will go down.
Yes, with the introduction of more cryptocurrencies, it's hard to survive for every crypto but bitcoin was the first one and will always have a huge advantage over others. As for payment methods, I genuinely feel that bitcoin should be used more as an investment and asset while other cryptocurrencies that have a faster and cheaper cost per transaction shall be used for payments and quick transfers.

I'm not talking about any bombs. Bombs even has nothing to do with Bitcoin because Bitcoin doesn't have any office. I'm talking about more attacks from the Governments, Banks, etc. We don't have up to half of the world on our side. Not even up to quarter of the world, so, we are small and maybe can't act more than the others who have outnumbered us. If we don't have enough companies backing us up, enough people who are all in, we can't vouch for the infinity of Bitcoin. Bitcoin may be more than a decade old, but it's still young, and if you know, a tree can easily be cut when it's still a young plant.

Don't be silly, you yourself made the analogy "even good people die every day" You have to understand the context of a simple analogy that has meaning for what I'm illustrating. See why I'm talking about plantations? I simplified everything to follow your own context.
Bitcoin's position is very useful in human life (including you).
If you understand it only on the outside, then what wisdom can you absorb?

Well, and I also don't understand where your thoughts are on the impact of the bomb simulation (I'm not talking about the agency that made it, I'm not talking about who issued the bomb) note, I mean the impact.

OK, I'll simplify it so you can understand. If the world is bombed, the internet system is chaotic, bitcoin access is blocked, cross-border interactions are hard to reach. With that impact, it created a bottleneck in Bitcoin progress. (remember this is an analogy) for you to describe in real life what is happening. look at the context the OP created!!! dealing with Bitcoin survival between survival indefinitely or not.

Infinity still possible, it does not matter how young the system is from the year it was started. What matter is that the goodness it brings to us. Hence, we know that crypto currency is a decentralized system then banks and even government still get hard to stop it and as long as there is internet then bitcoin will live forever and remain untouchable by central control. Besides, our world is now on its digital age and bitcoin/crypto currency will fuel the transformation of the world's digital monetary transaction.

I think you understand what I mean. Because the existence of Bitcoin is currently a solution to overcome the world economy and continue to involve Bitcoin in every aspect of technological development in the future.

I do advocate Bitcoin but, not all good things last forever, even good people die everyday. In short, Bitcoin may still be able to not survive. Not because it's not working properly or because it's not a scam, but because we still have a lot of naysayers out there. Governments, Banks, Individuals, so many challenges that the crypto community faces. Though, everyday, the chances of crumbling reduces but, until we outnumber the others, we are not standing on real solid ground.

For example, when a farmer dies, his grapes are still there and can be used by family, neighbors, or even sold for a profit.

Bitcoin is like a ripe grape, it has the benefit of having an owner somewhere. For now, it still survives and continues to grow and is also developed from generation to generation. Digital currencies are like that too, except the world was dropped by 1000 bombs like on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I do even remember when I came to know about bitcoin in 2016, there were many rumors about bitcoin that it is a fake coin which is not even visible to eyes and someone is cheating others in the name of bitcoin and etc. But when I started to earn bitcoin and converted it to my local currency, then only I really realized the truth about it. Obviously there is no end date man. Bitcoin stood firm in the market by 2017 itself on its first ATH. More stunning growth is about to seen in near future.
I agree with you man.

When i flashbacks far 2013 and 2014, within that range far back i remember how people were castigating bitcoin as a means of extortion of money, and also a means of scamming peoples money, but today everyone is interested to invest in cryptocurrency and more especially in bitcoin, because from what i observed from little bitcoin seminar program i hosted in my geographical domain even a nursing mother that is approximately forty to forty eight (40-48) years is interested to invest with bitcoin and children in school is already knows what is bitcoin, so with this length of bitcoin awareness in my society i think BTC can stay till infinity.
Nothing do last forever but at least seeing on the current condition where you could really say that this thing would last for more decades to come.It did able to reach this far then to presume that
this would even more progress as long there would be more demand and recognition as we go ahead in future years to come but we shouldnt really remove into our heads on the possibility
that everything would be overtaken by something better.Im not saying that Bitcoin could be replaced by the possibilities are there as long on what the community been thinking because
it will always vary with the interest that had been put up into it.

Although your post has meaning, think it's so stereotype to talk of women in that frame no matter if they are nursing mothers, I think Bitcoin or crypto-currency is not gender discriminating, and I don't see how a nursing mothers interested in Bitcoin, should signify Bitcoin having enough popularity or adoption, I am in several chat with females who are very excited and learned about crypto-currency and even on the forum anonymity apart I think there are females flying high.

Bitcoin awareness continues to increase day by day. People from nearly every age range, have started to do a detailed research about Bitcoin and then start using it. This is great news because it is not easy to explain Bitcoin especially to old people. Still, most of them are antagonizing Bitcoin and trying to tarnish its reputation. However, Bitcoin is not that weak of course.

Anyway, the more the demand, the longer the life span of Bitcoin. It seems that simple to me.

- Agreed, an example of good things that don't last forever is the recent scandals of Chinese actors, they seem to be angels and are the childhoods of many people all over the world but in just a few conversations and network exposure, quite a few famous actors have revealed their fake and criminal faces. Bitcoin can also be such an actor, good features and no scams but one day, an underground name spread rumors and fake evidence about bitcoin, forever angel in our community will be killer with smiley face, life expectancy also follows that end is no longer endless

Bitcoin will be the first thing came to our minds once we talk about crypto so thinking about some coins will replace it is kinda impossible for now since they really need to have more volume to defeat the marketcap before they can surpass it, but since bitcoin is established coin and the most preferred due to many adoption happened for sure other who plan to replaced it will just fail.

Although many people says that bitcoin will go to zero,it will die or anything bla,bla for sure it will not happen bitcoin is now somehow have part on economy and this will never get fade so for sure it will stay since more people will use it in future.
Within 10 years Bitcoin price almost touching the six-digit value, what more in the next decade? We might actually see the six-digit price during the bull run but of course, the pros and cons of having this kind of price is already expected to be a trouble to some trader. But despite of that people will eventually get used to it and probably would hodl more of Bitcoin than dumping it all.

And here we are some people are trying to think Bitcoin would eventually go zero but the fact that the price keeps moving unexpectedly some of them still think it that way. It seems like they were the ones who lost too much because of greediness when buying it at the peak then panic selling at the bottom.

Genuine followers who believe in Bitcoin and the promise it gives will stand by their belief till the end of time. All lot of other factors are responsible for the high volume and amount of bitcoins that are transacted on the blockchain. Whales and institutional buyers have the most share of bitcoin and the money to buy. Back in the days, the average person could earn bitcoin by playing games, faucets and writing articles for blogs( just like Vitalik did) but that's no longer the case. The people I see in the crypto space are here for the long term
