It's actually a big question, I mean, why do people gamble? What is the main reason? Yes, everyone wants to win, but how desperate that desire is? Some jump out of the window after losing and others forget about it in a minute or less. I think the latter constitute the majority of gamblers, not the former.

Some people gamble to win and earn a lot of money, others gamble just for fun. Both are gamblers but they have different mindsets. I think most gamblers are the former. Therefore they will jump out of the window or get depressed when they lose. Because they want big prizes they place big bets and when they lose they have spent most of their money on daily needs. This is different if you gamble just for fun. You will stop when your budget runs out and you are not burdened with winning bets.

And if I do so, I think I would see more "regular" customers, than addicted gamblers. I think there is a difference between those two. Person can be gambling regularly, but wasnt bringing all his monthly salary as soon as he gets it. Regular gamblers indeed spend a lot of time gambling, but they know when to stop; at least they have a stop button or can pause gambling for time. That is why I say, that I barely see really addicted people. People who only gamble. And I see regular gamblers in offline casinos. People who are often lonely or have nothing to do, and casinos are the place where they get special attitude or "ears" who will always listen to their complains and talks.

I am not sure some of them actually know when to stop.

There are many, many people that end up in a horrible situation in casinos. And that happens extremely frequently.

People keep losing all their money every day at casinos.

When was the last time in your life when you saw gambling addicted person? Or have anyone of you ever seen such people? I see a lot of people talk about addicted people, but all they know about them is from reading articles or someone has told them. I have also read about ludomania, but in person never ever seen addicted people. Or maybe from first look it is impossible to tell if person is addicted. I have only see drunk people near offline casinos. But I doubt that they were addicted gamblers.

I would say many are gambling daily at the local casino.

Just head into any casino in your city and you will probably see a few addicts there.

Specially if you go late at night, they will be there playing all the time.

There are definitely people like that bro, when he gambles confidently and confidently in the strategy he has and can get a win but ends up losing then it's likely he will look for another strategy to get the win he is after, I mean what all gamblers are after. including gamblers who aim to have fun. Maybe such a person wants to go against the rules that have been firmly established. They only think about the wins that will happen until they put aside the defeats or loss of money that are definitely bound to happen. What you say is true, if we are not affected by defeat it is better, rather than when we experience defeat and cannot accept it well, it will actually cause problems in the future.

Gambling will end in win or loss, only loss is certain. So after that the control is ours. If we misunderstand the results of the gambling that has been done then the possibility of losses or problems that can occur, such as when we win, we realize that we have won but don't take the right action, namely cashing it out, but instead we continue gambling by increasing the bet amount. Of course that's a very big risk. Where the winnings we get can all be lost and if we don't react to it well it's possible that our emotions will overflow. Same goes for the ending of defeat.

In general, for someone who gambles, the main goal is to make a profit or multiply the money he brings when he visits there.
like the case you described, perhaps only a small number of people actually know that they will lose when gambling, so they use their winnings as a tool to extend the duration of the game there. Actually, in my opinion, it's not good if you play in a casino for too long, because you also remember that you still have family left behind, no matter how rich you are and how much you spend to have fun playing the game.

That is the main goal of all gamblers, I am sure that even someone who gambles with the aim of having fun they will definitely want a win in their heart there is no way they don't want a win. Because the victory in gambling is one of the points of pleasure of every gambler.  There are many gamblers who do not realize that the gambling they do will mostly end in defeat, especially with those who gamble for the sole purpose of making money or winning. People who gamble with the aim of making money or getting a win most likely they will not be able to accept the defeat that is clearly going to happen, and their attitude that cannot accept defeat will make it difficult for themselves.

If they do win, there is a possibility of either withdrawing or continuing the gambling session. But the best choice is to withdraw it because I'm sure we all know that the winnings that have been obtained can be lost again when they continue gambling, because in my opinion they will be more aggressive when gambling after getting a win.
This loss-chasing thing... It shows a major fault we all have. Our nature is to pursue success, even if it means running into a wall. That wall gives the house an advantage in gambling. But when you win? Knowing when to leave is the real test. Cashing out is sensible, but how many do it? Not many. Because that win proves you can beat a game created to beat you

Gambling should be fun, not a losing war. Expect defeats, and those wins? Consider these a great surprise. That's a better mentality, yet most people seeking wins aren't thinking clearly

Absolutely! The psychological trap of loss-chasing in gambling really does highlight a broader aspect of human nature: our relentless pursuit of success, often against better judgment.
It’s one thing to land a win, but another entirely to pocket that win and call it a day. The thrill of the victory, the proof that “yes, I can win,” often overshadows the cold hard stats that say, “but you’ll likely lose over time.” It’s a test of discipline and self awareness.

Remember, those moments of victory should be savored, but not expected as the norm. A grounded perspective like this keeps the fun in the game and the risks well-managed.

I came to discovered that those that are addicted to gambling are those people that take gambling as an investment because, they will be trying to put more money if they will be able to win millions or billions and, that is their thinking before it will lead them to be addicted to start selling their home things just to gamble and some habit has made some gamblers to loss their job because of too much loan they have collected from the company.

At first, they think they are just entertaining themselves when they play. Still, when they ignore the probability of becoming addicted because they know that they don't have control over themselves once it gets hyped, that's when they going to spend as if there is no tomorrow until they lose it all and what's worse is, they not gonna stop after that. They look for another way to get back what they have lost which is not recommended at all because they only make it ugly and not gonna fix the problem, They should not get into it when they realize they have uncontrollable emotions and quickly stop once their funds are already exhausted.

By withdrawing winnings it will also allow us to think more clearly and not be greedy because we have more money. Many players get trapped here, when they win they actually increase their bet, instead of wanting to get more wins, they are instead defeated by their own greed until they don't realize that their money has run out.

I agree with that.
The real game of gambling is not when you play, but rather being able to determine when to leave. either when you win, even if it's still small, or when you lose. In my opinion, losing here is more about setting a limit for losing, not losing in the sense of spending all the money he brought to the casino.

That is what gambling addicted can caused to those that are in such stage because, it will be pushing you to do some things that will endanger your life and once you did it your eyes will be open to know that you have done some thing wrong and maybe there will be no mercy at the moment to such person that committed such crime.

I might not be hypocritical about that, everyone has different reasons that you can't categorize in the same way, we all know that perhaps the majority of gamblers really want to win and also get big money, so that's why many gambling addicts can't control themselves when they want to. achieve the results they want, but there are also some gamblers who really aren't for money, instead they spend money just to have fun, nothing more than that, but that's only done by rich people.

Poor people usually gamble to try their luck and make money in gambling so their goal from the start of gambling is to win and get money so it will be different from most rich people who gamble on average, they just want fun, I saw my friend gambling and he never had a problem with losing, he even spent hundreds of dollars gambling, for him it was the same as spending money playing golf with his business friends, so according to him, the money he lost gambling, he would consider it spent playing golf, not gambling. , after all, he said, it depends on how a person's mindset understands the pleasure of gambling
I think all gamblers definitely want to win, because winning at gambling is also a point of enjoyment. It's very hypocritical in my opinion if there are gamblers who don't want to win, because it's clear that the main goal of gambling is to win because that's one of the things that everyone wants because winning is money that everyone needs, but it's their fault that they're too ambitious in chasing that win. It's not certain that it causes them to experience their own problems.
with the many advertisements displayed and word of mouth about gambling which can provide victory, it is good news for poor people who have problems with their finances, but they do not see gambling fully, they only see the winning side without seeing the other side, namely the clearer defeat. what will happen to the gambling they do, it doesn't matter if they are rich or poor, but what will definitely happen is losing or losing the money they bet on gambling. but we should not worry about the losses that occur because in my opinion it has become a fixed rule that cannot be changed, with those who experience large losses or gamble excessively they may not be able to accept the reality of the losses that ended with the gambling they did.

but one of the major reasons people do involve themselves into online gambling it is because they want to make a money and there's so many people has been helping their self out through online gambling many people does not gamble because they need entertainment but the gamble because they need a quick money so so many people who told you today that they are gambling in order to entertain themselves I will say that that is a capital lies because the objective of every gambler is to make a money I'm making that money to get money is to win in any average of gambling they placed they bet on

It's actually a big question, I mean, why do people gamble? What is the main reason? Yes, everyone wants to win, but how desperate that desire is? Some jump out of the window after losing and others forget about it in a minute or less. I think the latter constitute the majority of gamblers, not the former.

It's obvious and you've already said that the reason most people gamble is that they come to earn money by winning in one of their sessions, and despair I think depends on the type of gambler, or I mean whether they are a gambler who comes with the intention of earning or something else like entertainment, and I believe despair is usually more likely to be experienced by gamblers who come with the intention of earning where losing is a situation that is difficult for them to accept which is usually the main trigger for many more serious problems.

Gamblers who come in with the intention of earning always experience problems due to having the wrong goals in gambling such as experiencing the stress of not being able to account for the money that has been lost, while others are those gamblers who are still fine because they only put the amount of money they can account for, so your goals are very decisive about the impact of gambling that will befall you in the future.

Yeah right, even it's just for fun the aim to enjoy more is to win, I guess there's nothing more than winning and the excitement will fill the desire of gambling, there are people who keeps trying to interchange their strategy to check they will somehow win against the house, what's good when you are only aiming for fun is you are not being affected that much when you lose, and you can move forward after.

Yup, withdraw and pause for a while, enjoy the moment and use the money to whatever additional entertainment that you are aiming, nothing beats the rewards when you win.

many gambling addicts have lost their minds because their desire to continue gambling overpowers their common sense, hence the importance of "gambling responsibly"
Ironically when there are people who cannot control addiction in gambling, this is just a small example of many gamblers that ended worse and there are some who end their lives because they are in debt when gambling. Gambling is responsible when you are not addicted and when it cannot be controlled, in my opinion it is difficult to be responsible for gambling choices.

The problem is how you put gambling, if done only for fun in spare time is not a problem. But when gambling is done as a substitute for permanent work, this will be far more problematic and it is very difficult to control, the decision is in each of us and as much as possible avoid addiction in gambling.

Gambling addiction is a genuine problem, and as you indicated, it may lead to financial disaster and even suicide. In this instance, they require assistance, which might include regulating the gaming business in such a manner that they are not abused by gambling companies. For example, we may impose limitations on how much money individuals can bet in a certain period of time, or we could force gambling organizations to offer information about the odds of winning. We may also require gaming firms to give responsible gambling training for their staff. Also, to raise awareness about the issues involved, such as the perils of gambling addiction.

I think similar articles with headlines about responsible gambling have existed and will always exist. As long as human greed, stupidity, fear and the like continue to exist, the owners of casinos, bets and other types of gambling will earn money. Of course, every person who is interested in gambling must have the skill of responsible gambling and remember that if a person loses control over himself, then he should stop gambling, no matter how large the loss of money is, otherwise the losses will be even greater
Casinos are just offering a service, however when people think about the possibility of making money in this way they get greedy, and that is when things can get out of hand, as they no longer gamble for the fun they could supposedly get, and now they just care about the money they could make, but the casinos are not really at fault for this, as even if they promote themselves by making a point of all the money you could make, it is up to each person to take their time and understand that this is not possible, as if it was then casinos should disappear, but instead what we see is more casinos being created every month.

Totally depends on the mind of a certain gambler because there are ones who are trying out to win up their games just because they do want to prolong the duration of their session on doing gambling
on which they've been already accepting that they would be losing in the end and they dont really care about on getting home with positive profits but well majority would really be hoping that they would really be able to get up such profits specially huge ones. It is really just that the main common issue for most people is that we do become that too greedy on the time that we are on a winning condition. You would really be that impulsive on which it do comes into a point that controlling yourself would already be an issue and this is why they would really be having that kind of approach on things on which it would really be that common approach to have.
