There are really a lot of platforms for trading NFT , I also bought on Opensea , but I like the platform on the WAX , atomichub network more , but you can 't call them safe , there are certain risks everywhere
I've only transacted on Opensea, and it's safe so far, but many say that not all NFT on Opensea are safe to use, verified is one of the things to pay attention to in buying nft on opensea. therefore, try to buy the popular or verified NFT for security.
In Opensea there are many fake NFT as well, they tried to restrict some of them but still there are plenty of them. The only NFT projects i purchased are from Ethernity and Terra Virtua as they have some of the coolest launches and products and in Terra Virtua you will get some low valued NFT and i do purchase from their marketplace. So basically it is safe as i never faced any issues. 
Actually, the popular NFT platform that I know so far is on the OpenSea. I know that there are also many other platforms that provide NFT platforms. But, so far, I only follow the OpenSea.
However, if this is about the most secure platform, I think that as long as they are reputable, they may be secured. But not a guarantee 100% that they will be safe neough.

I think that platforms can be very secure, have the best network, in fact there is a lot of talk about networks like Solana, Polygon, for having an enormous facility in that their fees are much cheaper, but given that NFTs have woken up in many people the total and wide distrust, it is normal that many people are reluctant to accept a good game or have doubts about their internal economy, and more so at this time when the BTC market has been so unstable, and not only due to the volatility of the BTC market, but it represents that for now there may be the possibility of lowering the BTC even more and if this happens any NFT or game can go lower, this is the greatest fear.

you should just use opensea if you are seeking the safest platform for NFT, simply because its already tested by the masses and are already so famous that most of us if seeking for NFT in form of arts and maybe game items our default choice is opensea.
also, because of the fact that opensea is already so many userbases, you could guess that it has significantly higher liquidity if we trying in comparing it with most of the others NFT platforms.
good liquidity itself could also means that the best of the best artists could be flocking in that NFT platform instead of the others, i’m sure you will eventually find out the reason opensea could be this big and famous.
also, because of the fact that opensea is already so many userbases, you could guess that it has significantly higher liquidity if we trying in comparing it with most of the others NFT platforms.

Opensea.io is the most preferred marketplace for NFT but also I saw that in recent times due to the security glitch 700K worth of tokens of NFTs were hacked but it doesn't that big and now it is fixed. You can buy the NFT and move to your wallet to ensure the security of your NFT token.
I do not think any customers funds were stolen and even if they were, opeansea will compensate them evenly. Opensea is a decentralized Market place and the best out there. They are steadily developing their platforms and integrating new blockchain and features always. They are expanding and that is one of the features to use in knowing platform that want growth.
Already they have released their governance tokens which is already contributing to the success of the project as now speculators have the opportunity to trade the volatility of the tokens without even flipping NFT to profit.

Yes, if that is on the internet, not 100% safe. But OpenSea is one of the recommended markets to buy and sell NFT. The problem can come when the user is not checking the links and just following to click the link right away because I think there will be another website that wants to trick the user and have an almost similar template like OpenSea. I heard about Rarible but I do not yet visit that site. The important thing is that you can take care of your internet connection before connecting to the marketplace.

There are many good NFT platform like opensea. Binance and all the exchanges also offer NFT marketplace where you can buy and sell the NFTs. However, there is a key difference between NFT and coins/token.
We usually buy good token/coin considering they are safe, they have liquidity etc but in the NFT space, there is no such thing as SAFE NFT. Once you buy NFT, there is no guarantee that you can sell it at a higher price or even sell it at all. If someone like your NFT he will buy it otherwise if no one is willing to buy it, you cannot sell it.

I think any popular NFT market is safe. But for now, I only tried and tested OpenSea since it's really popular.
I won't try other NFT marketplace unless given with a good recommendation and good positive reviews.

I think that big platforms like Opensea are much more safe than any others because they have strong teams with huge experience, because they are constantly facing different kind of technical issues.

Opensea is a safe option by transaction. But the amount of scam nfts and just money grabs there is insane. Be careful what you buy not from the platform itself but actual nfts. No way can the market support such high prices forever. There will be a bottoming out soon. Tread lightly and do your research first.

Opensea is the safest one and best one. You don't need to feel doubt by using this market. The fact that if bunch of people are actively using opensea everyday and is not that enough to be a proof if opensea was a reliable market? i think that's enough. All of hacked cases in open sea already solved and it proves that how good the opensea team by responding on it. Im using opensea right now to buy some NFTs but i can't deny that if this platform is so good.Just try that and you will know how good opensea is. There was also another platform but the liquidity and demand was not the same like opensea.

We didn't need many platform for this thing to happen, The crypto project is growth but we have good market like opensea. The only thing is it needs to be integrated with the various blockchain that exist in the market. this will be enough to cover all of new projects that are playing in the NFT. The NFT market that already exist just need to support the multiple blockchain. that's enough. Opensea is the safest one and it has proven that if it has a good security system even it ever got hacked but it's getting solved so fast. I think opensea is more than enough to be used by NFT project to sell their NFT

I can vouch for it because I have myself listed my pencil arts in the OepnSea market. The features which makes it great to choose OpenSea are its user friendly model. Being non techy I have always tried to go beyond limits and test out stuff. So I’m sure if guy like me was able to understand setting up the OpenSea with MetaMask linking and bidding set up process then others can easily do so.

What NFT is the safest to play with, I don't know what to call NFT, because there are so many NFTs currently appearing in the crypto space. what I know is that the NFT trend is still good and will last for some time to come. in short I can think like that because you yourself know better even though you say you don't know much.
Opensea is still the largest NFT market as far as I know, but the prices there are too expensive for me, also there is some security issues there as I read in the media, I don't really understand that, but as far as I know Opensea is still a big market for buying and selling NFT's. I'll read this thread again to add to my knowledge into the good NFT market because I'm also interested in the NFT world.
Opensea is one of the most popular. And it has proven itself that it's one of the best NFT marketplace. Binance has its own marketplace as well and the other exchanges are also diving in and making their own NFT platform. Some other individual NFT platforms that I know is VeVe. I've read that there's a lot of users there but it's not popular from the other regions. I've known it from someone who's from the US and it's likely popular there.
Opensea tends to be semi-centralized, I heard they could do something with the NFT art listed there, like the NFTs freeze that was done late last year and allegations of insider trading. I don't know, it might also happen in other NFT markets, it's just that it hasn't been revealed yet.
I conclude that nothing is completely safe.
Well, in this space, crypto and NFTs. That's a fact that nothing is safe and that's why we should be at least aware of which platforms we're buying and selling these NFTs. There are also the P2E projects that have their own marketplaces. I guess that where the other projects are going to focus with since they're foreseeing that this space is going to keep on growing.
