Is it a coincidence current bitcoin price ($2573) plus the speculated price of the upcoming bitcoin cash ($453) is just above bitcoin all time high (Combined $3026 compared to all time high approx $3000)?

Is the valuation of bitcoin cash already included in current bitcoin price? If that's the case, then it might not change much on aug 1. My experience is that known upcoming events often are included in price long before it actually happen.

I think that will not happen, with a split, these 2 coins will be worth a lot less. That is what we should weigh message, BTC + BTC <$ 3000.

BCC price is what miners have decided. It isn't related to Bitcoin price. Miners would have priced it $3000 if they wanted. It is their choice. The price would be decided by the holders after 1st August. Most probably their would be huge dumping because Bitcoin community isn't really welcoming to the fork and BCC. Bitcoin will keep on surging independently.
I remember the price of Bitcoin Cash has set on exchange of ViaBTC with rate $400/BCC. So, have some people tell when the price of Bitcoin falldown from $2800 to $2400 is the price of BTC + BCC = 2400 + 400 = $2800 for all Bitcoin. But I think Bitcoin Cash not involve Bitcoin (in current), this just is an altcoin future creating by a pool mining and the value is unknown
At present BTC+BCC doesn't make sense as fork hasn't taken place yet. BCC price was set by ViaBTC and not by community itself. Let it come to the market and see how community reacts to it. Most probably as everyone here is speculating, the price will turn to nothing. Then according to BTC+BCC = $3000. BTC will be at $3000 when BCC would be 0.  Tongue

It's a coincidence, noone knows how the BTC/BCC price ratio will playout over the next few weeks.

I personally hope BTC will rise over $3000 once segwit activates, so that would require a negative value for BCC - does not seem likely:)

In that case, it will be look like  a Bitcoin bump with more banefits, but I think if everyone sell BCC, its price will decrease rapidly and our profits wouldn't be so big.

BCC will be hit 0$ so bitcoin will be alone 3000$
don't care alot about BCC its shitcoin too.
our main coin is bitcoin and shitcoin never will be accepted on bitcoin world.

Yeah right, it's like two very different sparks ETH and ETC. ETH has a clear purpose and a great community. While the ETC is only a coin that exploits the popularity of ETH so that he will be more seen.
Likewise with BTC and BCC. BTC will soar high while BCC will be garbage!

it will be nothing like ethereum.
two things are not going to work here.
first is the fact that BCC has no support whereas ETC had a lot because people weren't happy about the hard fork roll back of ETH.
second is the fact that mining bitcoin is nothing like mining ethereum. ETH difficuly is too low and the hashrate is also low. which means you can easily mine it with GPU. you can not mine bitcoin like that. a fork with small hashrate will have 1 block in 1 day LOL until they readjust the difficulty and then the hashrate will go up again and with it the difficulty. and in the end when price of it is too low to mine they will give up.

you are computing it before the fork event.
no one shall know what will do after the fork...
you could have BTC+BCC=6000$ or BTC+BCC=60$
no one can know it

Yes, we do not know for sure about the price, but it's likely that bitcoin price will increase and BCC may has huge dump or stuck somewhere until people realize if it is a good coin, maybe yes or maybe no at all.
During this week after BCC news has been spread widely but it has no significant impact for bitcoin price, even though it had dropped slightly around $2500 but bitcoin price already recover again over $2700, it may reach $3000 on August.
It should be increase more than we expected and i think they should relay what is the present price if they included the BCC
Since they are just hard fork and use as solution for bitcoin i think they don't let the price affected about bitcoin cash..
So this coming august 1 expect that the price of bitcoin will increase more above $3k value..

I'm not sure BCC will be shitcoin, because this is the result of the minner's vote.

We can only speculate the price of Bitcoin but Bitcoin Cash will be dumped hard by many for sure. Even if some whales keep BCC, industries will not turn towards to BCC from BTC in such a short time. My speculation is BTC = 3000$+ soon and BCC = 500$ for some time.

You can expect over $3000 for bitcoin while BCC might quickly dump to below $100 after the split. That $400+ price for BCC is purely a speculated price and that might not hold long when all bitcoin holders will start dumping their free BCC for below that price.

BitcoinCash would not have any real value most especially after August 1. There can be a massive dumping on BCC because the sentiment of the market is going against this new altcoin. In other words, there would be no red carpet for BCC as it in fact a tool for sowing confusion when things are supposed to be settled already. BCC has no future and the market knows that...but of course there can be some manipulation within a short period of time so I can also be wrong. In the meantime, let's enjoy the current $2,800 price of Bitcoin.

Well, currently there is just limited trading available for BCC on ViaBTC thus prices are somewhere above $400. But after Aug 1st, almost all mass with private keys can claim BCC, so if there is huge resistance against it then prices may drop to somewhere below $10 or may happen that token become valueless.
On the contrary side, its too early to predict prices of BTC. Well, I am pretty sure that BCC will not affect the prices of BTC significantly and BTC will continue to gain momentum in upward direction after Aug 1st.

Well BCC may be dump as soon as these coins is provided to the public. While the price of BTC will continue to rise. I'm not really into that split and I'm a solid bitcoin enthusiast so for me BCC is just an altcoin willing to destroy BTC that we all love and endured since its inception. Yes, BCC is just created by someone who is greedy and will ride using bitcoin name. But most of here would agree that BCC will be short lived.

Some crook may support BCC so that they will be able to create fake demand for this shit coin mined by few crazy and greedy miners out there. Bitcoin will always remain king and all this bitcoin clone will dump hardly.

Since BCC does not exist yet and it's being traded based on speculation for its future existence, I suspect that the volume is quite low and that it doesn't justify the price.  Especially considering that it's not currently trading on any major exchanges, just ViaBTC and a couple others which I've never heard of.

The BCC price is in a downtrend and I think that a fair number of BTC users will dump their BCC coins if they get the opportunity.

Anyway the price hasn't all moved from BTC->BCC so I wouldn't count them as the same thing.
