The only truly anonymous coin is XSPEC, all the other coins are flawed in some way. Even Monero is traceable according to some reports

Can you explain how a ZEC transaction is tracable please? When using a Z address?

All that governments must do is to pass regulations that prohibits anonymous coins. Then they all have problems because they are all centralized, all have owners, CEO’s and some even office where you can get them. The only decentralized coin in that exist with no owner, CEO or office, Bitcoin will be the only anonymous coin in future.

beside deep onion, one of the best crypto currency famous for it's anonymity is ZCASH.
but if you think all crypto with the right mixer and some wallet could be exchanged several time , just before to begun completely anonymous and untraceable. So if you use it just for saving purpose an alt coin you  don't need to exchange in an anonymous coin, just use proper blockchain properties.

Monero and Zcoin for sure are one of the first picks that come to mind, there will be more to come and I think governments will be interested into this coins more than retail

Deeponion is probably your safest bet as others have already pointed out. Although, with anonymity and decentralization being the basis of crypto currency itself Im not quite sure I see a necessity of anything further than the average crypto. Just my two cents tho

2 of the older coins like monero and zcash I believe offer good anonymity and privacy. There is also options to add difficult traceability using a mixer or tumbler

There  are at least a dozen of so called privacy coins that would allow for completely anynoumous transactions. I'm talking about monter, pivx etc. It's hard to say which one is the most anonymous one.

depends on why you're asking I guess: technically speaking or in terms of a good investment or both?
go for monero, it is the best coin, privacy is the main objective when it launches, monero is command of bit, someone with privacy issues get Monero.

I agree as stated by John McAfee on a CNBC interview, he has answered Dimon about the term he used for bitcoin as a fraud and being used for illegal trades. And McAfee did mentioned that bitcoin is not being considered anymore in the dark market (but I doubt this) and he has mentioned that Monero is the new coin that was being used for anonymous trades, this is the main focus of monero.

only Spectrecoin or monero
dash, zcash and all the forks, pivx etc... are not claiming for anonymity, they are claiming for privacy..

i believe that there is a future to anonymous coins, because more and more money come into the crypto market.. and with it comes the need for anonymity

From what I've heard it's Monero and Dash, although Monero is buy far the cryptocoin that offers more privacy. Right now everyone says that it's completely untraceable. It's a good thing Monero existis, because  it kind of proves that crypt is not just used by criminals, or that the price of bitcoin would drop to zero if it stop being used by criminals, etc. If this was true, then Monero would be the most expensive cryptocoin, because it should be far more appealing since it can't be traced.

Zcash is perhaps the most anonymous coin but this comes with a huge downside as well. Zcash supply is practically invisible and if someone ever manages to generate extra ZEC (Zcash) by exploiting a bug, like what happened to Bitcoin in 2010, nobody would be able to notice it. Meaning that this person could practically do this until he owns 99.9% of the total ZCash supply. This is extremely dangerous imo.

This is why I invested in Zcash' biggest competitor: Zcoin, based on the Zerocoin Protocol, an academic paper. XZC (Zcoin) has in my opinion the biggest future at this moment when it comes to anonymous transactions. It is really undervalued and I am sure that by the end of 2018, Zcoin's market cap will have increased 10 times.

Ditto.

Agree. And why I chose Zcoin.

monero is indeed a type of coin that is not easily traced safer, more focused on privacy ..
may be more like '' DASH''cryptocurrency with a focus on privacy too ,, dash using anonymization technology and transaction speed..

Around 60% of monero transactions are traceable.

No they are not. They could be theoretically 3 years ago when lots things that helps anonymity in Monero was not added yet. And everyone used 0 mixing. Most transaction was made by miners which did not need anonymity.
Right now your statement is totally false.

But even 3 years ago Monero was the most anonymous coin of all. And Even 3 years ago Monero transactions was way harder traceable, then today many coins, that was mention in this thread.

Currently, I feel that DeepOnion is the most anonymous coin(Not shilling). Their TOR browser integration and deepvault and deepsend features provide a great degree of anonymity to users. The DO community are also involved in the development of DeepOnion's features.

Maybe this time is monero and dash quite anonymous, or you can see deeponion, dev team promises transactions that can not be tracked.

Monero is the most anonymous one, this coin mainly focuses on privacy and decentralization, those who focus more on their privacy must go for Monero. It launched under the name Bitmonero which is part of bit like bitcoin, and monero actually mean coin.

You will always need to look out for yourself, investing money is never "safe", your ROI is never a sure thing.
Maybe with regulations and bans nowadays, it will be a little better

What are you doing I have seen you post the same message like 10 times already.
