Hey,

I wonder what other gamblers consider to be the most important aspect of a betting site.

In my case, it's the speed of approving and processing withdrawals. Knowing that all withdrawals go smoothly, without delays or issues, makes me trust the betting site... even if it may not have the best games, the biggest odds, or the most attractive interface. In the end, it's all about the money. Smiley

In general, if a betting site makes excuses to delay withdrawals, imposes limits on the amount you can withdraw per day/week/month, or requests an excessive number of documents for a $50 withdrawal, then these are major red flags, at least for me.

So, what's the number one thing on your list?

For me the most important thing is the one with a good reputation, because this is where you will know if the site is really good and people trust it and for me this good reputation is enough because that is all in.
It's common for me to be able to deposit and withdraw quickly because it's really important.
Lastly, maybe the customer support, they would have acted quickly if there was a problem with the site.

Hey,

So, what's the number one thing on your list?

For me reputation is everything, if a casino is known for this, the withdrawal is fast and easy and they will not create false charges so they can keep your money, so reputation is everything and should be the number one I'm looking for in a casino.
Besides reputation, there are also other things that gamblers are looking for to remain and stay in a casino such as good support, a variety of games, marketing and
clean interface, the servers are good and there is no lag.
We all want a perfect casino but unfortunately, there's no such thing as a perfect casino, they may have one feature that you're looking for but lack the other features that you want, but in the end, reputation should be the first thing, you don't want to in case win a big amount and face issues when trying to withdraw it.

fast processing of withdrawal is important however probable fair games and reputation of the betting site is really important because for a betting site to be making withdrawal a speedy process it says a lot about their reputation how good and trustworthy they are. I do believe that in the gambling industry reputation is everything it determines all others and should be what every gambler should watch out for before using a gambling site.
I think the importance can depend if what type of gambler we are. If we are the ones who only play to get entertained, then we can care less about the withdrawals and stuff, but the one that can matter for us the most is the games and the design.

For the other type of gambler, it was obviously the withdrawals, odds, fairness of the game, and the likes... . Some gambling sites has a slow withdrawal process but I wouldn't immediately judge them of being less reputable. Maybe they only lack in personnel, and they also check the withdrawals manually? We can only doubt if our withdrawals are not processed for a couple of days, or weeks.
You can be correct... For me what I first and foremost look at is the credibility and reputation of the casino before anything else. And I hate when am  experiencing delay in withdrawal, the process of waiting can be so annoying and tiresome worst still when you have to wait for days and this can discourage users making the casino to lose customers to another fast withdrawing casino that meets their requirement.

Assuming we're sticking to reputable gambling sites, the first thing I check, and it's a priority for me, is the withdrawal process. I prefer it to be instant because, as a gambler, the excitement peaks when cashing out winnings. We don't win every time, so successfully withdrawing from a gambling site is already a significant win for us. If there's a delay, it can kill our excitement. It's a major concern for me if they don't process withdrawals instantly, especially if the support response is along the lines of "withdrawals are processed within 24 hours." That's a big red flag.

I wonder what other gamblers consider to be the most important aspect of a betting site.
The smooth withdrawal process is one of the factors that I pay attention to on every gambling site. Taking that factor into consideration when choosing a gambling site is not enough. There are still several more important factors that I pay attention to besides the speed of approving and processing withdrawals such as support service. Personally, getting convenience from accessing the site without interruption, good service support to fast response in processing withdrawals will make players comfortable. Usually these gambling sites are recognized as having a good reputation.

Another important factor that I think is very important to consider when choosing an online betting platform is their accessibility to their customers. Some of the sites of the online betting companies aren't easy to access because of the poor development of their websites which makes it very difficult for their customers to easily gamble on them when they want to do quick gambling and if you have account with such companies, you are likely to face disappointment whenever you want to quickly gamble on the site because of poor networking and processing speed of the sites

Are you talking about the speed of those betting sites which is low and makes people difficult to access the times when they need to place the bet ?
Or it is about the interface of the site that makes placing the bet a bit difficult ?

Both of these features need to be as per the standard so the gamblers may not get distracted by too many advertisements and all such extra stuff. I always prefer a nice clean interface where I can place a bet and at the same time i also check the odds that are offered by the betting site. People will usually prefer to bet on these sites that offers high odds for betting.

So, what's the number one thing on your list?
It's mainly, a combination of features you find in a reputable casino. I can't chose a casino just because they process withdrawals quickly while you can't find many available features on that casino such as slots, sportbook and a friendly surface.
I can give you in exemple of casinos that are promoted here in bitcointalk, most of them offer these features and characters to provide the best environment for gamblers without many troubles. Personally, I stick to one casino until I find a really better one. Not to mention, the level of your account if you play too much in one casino you will have more bonuses and promotions.

To answer your question simply, there's no number one priority to chose a casino.

- Have a long and clean history
- Instant withdrawals
- Fast customer support
- No KYC
- Provably fair
- Should reward the players
- Should offer 2FA

A good casino should have all of these qualities imo.
Can you tell me good gambling sites that do not require KYC? Do not forget that most casinos are not decentralized but centralized and they can force their customers to do KYC at any time. I have been finding it difficult to find casinos that do not require KYC these days. The ones I still consider no KYC more are the web3 gambling sites, but I prefer web2 ones.

The casinos that have KYC can be good but just that their players do not have complete control of their coins and privacy is reduced.
In fact, there are several casinos that state that they do not ask for KYC in any form and under any conditions, but personally if I honest, I say that do not believe them because there have been many cases where gamblers received poor service and it was always complicated with KYC when they won big.
Several cases like this give the effect of skepticism towards non-KYC casinos, even trying to play there with a small amount gives doubts that are difficult to get rid of.
Nowadays, most casinos have set KYC requirements if necessary and we as gamblers no longer debate about KYC because that is what casinos need and we customers just need to follow every rule that has existed from the start.

Just look at them, some of the big name casinos with good, trustworthy reputations and very loyal customers have established KYC so that we can't refuse them when we are asked to complete the verification.

I agree with you that ease of deposit and withdrawal as well as their speed is a key thing for any betting site. No one will feel comfortable in a platform where deposits and withdrawals takes several days or hours.

In addition to the deposits and withdrawals,  one other thing I take seriously is ease of navigation. Some gambling sites are very difficult to navigate due to how the games are arranged. To use bet building, you will spend several minutes and sometimes hours to be able to select all the games. This can be very annoying and frustrating at the same time. I love it when one can easily chose his matches without having to move from page to page to do this simple task.

There isn't just one important thing when it comes to a betting site. It is important to consider several factors when choosing a sports betting platform, including ease of use, a wide range of sports and betting options, competitive odds, secure and speedy payment methods, dependable customer support, and a strong reputation in the industry.

Another important factor that I think is very important to consider when choosing an online betting platform is their accessibility to their customers. Well, the majority of gamblers like to be processed with their deposits and withdrawals so fast and that's what they want to have for a casino that they're going to play with. And that make sense because who doesn't want a casino that has quick speed in terms of withdrawals and the same goes with deposits. There even some casinos that made their deposits zero confirmations as part of what they try to attract more users. But you know if you've been into crypto with that technically, you don't like to be on that one because the bad side of it is double-spending.

So, aside from quick withdrawals and deposits. A friendly support that you can communicate anytime you had troubles with your gaming experience and majority of the known casinos that has a reputation to protect has this on their side as a feature. They help all of their customers to assure that they get the best gaming experience and reply to queries as fast as they can.

A good casino should have all of these qualities imo. The most important one is obviously is the first one because if the casino is a scammer, it doesn’t matter if you can do instant withdrawals. There are some casinos which come very close to being perfect but the latest KYC laws ruined it a lil bit. Some of them promote their services on this forum too.

It is for me to be able to play in the most reputable site that I know nothing will go unresolved whatever the situation may be,second it is to have the best ongoing bonuses daily, weekly and monthly, third to have a huge amount of games as I want variety,if I get bored soon with a typical game I want to have tons of other games to move my focus there. After these we come to the withdraw thing and it is needed to be instant or almost instant like most of these reputable casinos have their system. So in the end the conclusion is that as long as it is a reputable casino everything else will be as good.

I guess anyone who does betting should have the responsibility to check or do research first to see what's the best betting site or application, and if they've chosen one, they should review the ratings and feedback. Why? Well, it's because you will see and know what kind of betting site you are entering and will know their good and bad sides, and most importantly, because it's better to know the bad parts of the site before entering that site. Like, for example, what the OP said about withdrawal, many betting sites and applications delay the withdrawal process, or there's a certain period of days before you can receive the money. If the gambler is not happy with that, then he or she could blame the site. Well, in the first place, it's their fault because they don't research first and know what kind of withdrawal process the site does. So it's very important to know the site first before anything else; it's for the gambler's safety and convenience.

Honestly, I cannot limit mine to just one, there are many things that I look out for in a gambling platform. First, it must have a very good reputation. Then, the graphics, it must have a user-friendly UI, it must have a good customer response team that answers users complaints and challenges on time. The platform should be able to process and settle wins on time and then KYC, it shouldn't be mandatory to all accounts, there should be a limit as to the winning that would require KYC.

Withdrawals are important and more on that, I like when sites are honest on fees.
A big issue is when a site tries to profit from fees, which imho is a bad practice from a gambling site as they have other avenues to normally have good profit from.

Another important thing for me is to adjust bets so once you press the button to send it, the odds don't change in the meantime. This is another bad practice that I have come to dislike from certain sites. Thankfully the bigger sites no longer do this.
Why do you people places much emphasis on the issues of withdrawal or transaction when we should at least be talking about the security possibilities  in some of the casinos, most especially those offline none cryptocurrency casinos who have proven a number of time to have become the true practitioner of the money laundering accusations against the gambling industry, because there have been reported cases of money being fraudulently move from victims banks accounts to a gambling sites and that sound weird and heart breaking despite that some of those casinos are licensed by the authorities of those countries.
Although i have not hard any such case against the crypto casinos, but i am sure such will be happening,  so for sure we have to encourage such features that increases the security level of the casinos to avoid such happening.
