Steem! It has a great potential IMO and steem was rated very good from rating agentur Weiss. Taking that into consideration, steem is undervalued right now
I think if every body begin to mention the best coin in the year 2018 this thread will not content it. No coin is perfectly recommended because all the coin possess the characteristic of cryptocurrency which is always subject to demand and supply that will always make the price to appreciate or depreciate.

Currently, according to the information provided, I think that any coin that is related to China will be very potent, especially NEO coin is a tremendous example. As the rates of cryptos tend to fall, the NEO is rising rapidly as the Chinese trade multiple their currencies, as we know China has the most substantial number of cryptos in the world.
NEO is my favorite. Found out about ITC these past few days just in time for their test network launch too. Great project with lots of potential.

+1 for ITC for me. Best project just based on the tech I've been looking into. DAG+PBFT makes them a head-to-head competitor to IOTA.
I think raiblocks will be winner for 2018. Starting from less than a cent or almost zero xrb price has bumped to current $20 per coin.

Right now they're listed on a couple of exchanges but you can find them on Huobi. Great project with lots of potential in my opinion. The DAG aspect is huge and since they're in IoT, that's a growing industry.
I think that the most undervalued coins for 2017 are Decred and Waves, these are quite interesting projects that once made a serious sensation, but they have a great future, I think with this statement, few will disagree.

I have a feeling AI and IOT projects are going to be very huge this year, if one look at those coins that have done well in past weeks they lead the way, I will need to start studying them very well now and not be able to miss out on them
IoT will be huge and the market is open for the taking. Because this is going to be bln mcaps once it hits a western exchange.
