I checked the price of several altcoins where value dropped 20-30x since June:

BTS, ZCL, LBC.

Perhaps these are the safest buys.

any ideas?

I can see why you included BTS. It's been at rock bottom at quite some time now and with Larimer's EOS recently exploding i don't see a reason for BTS prices to not have the same kind of growth, even though it is indeed a pretty old protocol.

Also Steem, seems like it's just caught fire recently and caused quite a stir. But personally i can see it go much higher still.

Basically any currency that is in its infancy and nobody is noticing it yet(ADA pre-pump, EOS prepump), or cryptos coming off huge pumps and is bottoming(including sia).

Waves, iota, xmr and xrp. They are still undervalued. Good to invest while their price are still low and affordable and you have extra money to invest.

I think the most undervalues altcoins is Dash. It is not a fair price for Dash and I think it will be increased soon.  Grin

Take a look at Byteball. I think nonblockchain cryptocurrencies will gain a lot of attention next year.

To be honest, there are many undervalued coins if you base it on their price, supply and project concept. But one thing you must remember that it's still a speculative market, so anything can go wrong even if the odds of the coin going to the moon is high. Currently I'm betting on a few good good projects as well, one of them is DeepOnion. With an 18M supply (far lesser than BTC's) - this coin is really undervalued in less than a dollar. Buyer interest are spiking it this week, and price had been stable in the .5 - .6USD area, so you can see how this coin is getting noticed in the market. Don't get me wrong, though as this coin is not all hype like most of the newly released ICO's. They have a working product currenly implemented into their wallet, called DeepVault. It's basically a crypto hash generator for documents that you can store, and recheck anytime, anywhere which is very useful for notarizing and authenticating documents in real time. They also just released their new roadmap, new incoming features like DeepSend - a true game changer in the world of privacy coins. You can DYOR about this coin so you can see for yourself how undervalued this coin is. Their community is growing and you will be answered their instantly. You can join here - https://deeponion.org/community

Coindash start trading in Binance. It's very undervalued, you can buy now.
It was 20 cent right after ICO but went down to 3 cent. Now it's 4 cent, it can go up again.

I think there are more undervalued ICO's than Coins themselves. ICO's will eventually materialize to coins so why not invest in them directly, since you're gonna receive their coins at the best possible price (usually when a new coin is launching you see a major increase, in most cases, of value). The fact that you have the option to participate so early in the project is a great way to double or even multiply your returns. ETH for example was selling at about 0.33 cents when the ICO launched and now it's trading at about 300, you would have gained much more by joining its ICO than having bought it at let's say 6 or 7 dollars, the earlier you join a project and get its coins the better the chances for you to make that 20x return that you're looking for.

Look at new coins, the current ones are a goof investing oportunity I think but it will take much mooore time till they will rise and pump again. New coins dont made a full marketcycle(not all) and here you can make in less time better trades

WCT tokens for waves platform, ETC, IOTA, ETH these are undervalued coins at the moment. They can make anytime a huge pump. If you have capital you can buy some and start holding them.

For a massive project like $link roughly $65mil market cap if you don't call that's undervalued then I don't know what it is. Once their mainnet launch it will be too late to get in.

In my opinion, the most undervalued is - STRAT, ETC, WAVES,KMD
they will make themselves felt)

I also feel Stratis, ETC, Waves and Komodo are still undervalued. As well as Gbyte, Solaris and SALT
Strat is not undervalued. The investors in that project drove the price of the coin so much that people are scared to invest in it.

Hello. I would say NXT, Xtrabytes (although it got some attention recently), Request network, chainlink, shift (absolute bargain right now) and waves (good platform)

Cheers
