So total power per card is (210-35)/2 = 87.5W for ~ 32MHs on the wall with this PSU (Chieftec CTG-750C)

(GPU power is 64W & 62W, 64W card is getting hot air from the 62W card backplate, Gigabyte mATX board GA-A75M-UD2H)

(maybe a bit lower than 87.5W as CPU usage is a bit higher during mining vs. idle desktop)

GPU: 1330MHz
MEM: 2250MHz

I think you can lower you clock core and voltage core a lot more than this and achieve the same 32mhs. Although it has the same 256 as the rx 580, I believe it can go higher than the rx 580.

Also when buying gpus, one must be very careful as new asics are in and in the bear market only asics will be running on eth network.
So ASIC owners have enough money to keep running their miners while GPUs owners can't keep up? You are joking 🤣🤣🤣 I'm going to keep mining even in bear market and I plan to have 1GH on ETH, I'm presently at 400MH just keeping my patience to see how the market plays out in the next two months, by the way I'm no paying a dime for electricity cos I run on solar energy 24/7

Hi,

I got lucky (in a sense), I noticed the cards on local (Finnish) online store (jimms.fi).

Price was 450€ (VAT 0%) so not exactly @MSRP but not too bad either :-)

It seems almost all RX6600XT cards are gone for now at that store also :-(

AMD does not actually "lie" about the wattage. The power usage reported is only for the *GPU*. VRAM + other stuff is on top of that.

Nvidia gives (at least tries to) power usage for total board if I have understood correctly.

I have two NITRO+ AMD Radeon™ RX 6600 XT cards (11309-01-20G), testing now with NBMiner. After 2 hours no rejected/invalid shares so far.

Phoenix Miner 5.6d - Release build works also but gets lot of stale/invalid shares (for example during 11h46min 4314/460/155)

Driver 27.20.22023.1004 (non-whql-radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-21.8.1-win10-64bit-aug10)
W10P version 21H1 (19043.1165)

Wow that's insane 🤯 finally a GPU from AMD that's on par with Nvidia, good bye to high power consumption from wall, can you tell me how you get this GPU and for what price each?

Those 6600XT are said to only use 55watts for mining at 32MH but every seem to have forgotten about watt drawn from wall, AMD always lie about this cos only Nvidia GPUs are close to what mining softwares shows as power consumption, I'm sure 660XT will take more than 55watts from wall

I heard that new AMD 6600 GPUs are damn good for mining is there anyone on here that have get themselves one ? Also can we get them for MSRP price ? If that's possible won't miners start buying those instead of over priced GPUs
I looked at the prices for these video cards in my country, in stores onga were sold for 650-700 dollars and were quickly sold out.
I'm not that AMD fanatic to pay that kind of money for a budget video card.
At the manufacturer's MSRP, this is a good buy, but video cards are not available in stores.
Probably they were bought by miners directly from the factory.
AMD priced rx6600 for 379$ msrp. What a price for entry level card Smiley 32mhs card for 379$
Comapnies got very greed

So you get 1 for 380. it uses 55 watts  does 32 mh

Lets see some math on that..

55 x 24 = 1320 watts a day make it 1.4 kwatts or $0.14 to run it.  Lets say you can squeeze it into a rig already running.

32 mh at 11.2 cents an mh = $3.58  pre power profit or $3.48 a day. 105 x 3.48 = $383.60

So fully paid in 105 days.

If you have 10 cent power
and you use viabtc at 11.2 cents an mh

It is pretty good price  one could argue 299 or less would be better price.

But on ebay the 6600 goes at

https://www.ebay.com/itm/353621477284? $615. note I do not know who the fuck the seller is but he is a low priced buy it now seller.

at 615 it takes  615/3.48= 176 days

For double the price that's ROI after 200+ days, still good though but that's  long ROI actually I still buy cards at 2x MSRP and I don't care how long they will take to get my ROI back, anything in 200-250 days is good by me, the only thing that doesn't sound right is the market situation, if bear market do comes it's another trouble entirely
Prices are still high it is better mine what we have. lets see in semptember and october. October will be more clear.

They do 32 Mhsh at max until now but they are just out since a few days, officially released on 11 August 2021.They immediately were bought from big retailers and you cannot find them with MSRP price already. They are already over 500 USD in Ebay as I write here right now. They are really efficient in terms of watts consumed and that is their strongest point, they are a good option for mining ETH right and although now in my opinion 32 Mhsh is no real big processing power but ten of them gives you 555 Watt for 320 Mhsh which for me is really efficient in term of power consumption.
Very efficient than 6x RTX3060ti @366 MH taking 720watts but another thing to consider is bigger cards use less space, you don't have to buy more risers/cabling etc, anyways finally the RX5500XT GPUs have a better brother now
many gpu many headache anyway price is too high

Heard its 32-34 mhs but only using 55 watts
This cards are better than AMD rx5500xt, they also draw less power around 50watts to 55watts but they only hash at 25-26MH on Ethereum, this will definitely be miners next target and I'm sure the MSRP will be gone in no time

Oh really? I bet you can't find those cards at a store near you for that price, whatever you read online about those buyers aren't 100% true, miners on YouTube buy them directly from AMD and right now few stores in China are selling more over MSRP

Funny, I guess people are comparing amd cards to nvidia lhr approach hehe, anything is better than lhr mining cards even the legendary polaris gpus hehe 3070 lhr doing 30 mhs hehehehehehehehhehe in 2021. Do not fall for traps if you plan buying gpus for mining.
Yeah it again 30mhs damn card in 2021 Smiley amd better put polaris card gddr6 memory could sell more than this crab

I'm not sure is gonna be good for mining, the last gpus from amd fail to impress miner, and amd not favor to miner anymore, they focused on gaming, specially they have contract with xbox, sony, valve which is 10x bigger sale than mining industry
Yeah agree rx6000 series not very good in mining with this price.
