If you want to go to the last unread post when you click on a topic title, you should install JackJack's Bitcointalk++ script. Been using it for ages and can't imagine Bitcointalk without it. 
Yeah this is really what I want. It will really minimize the time when doing backread from the last post you seen.
I prefer to use the watchlist, but it works everywhere.
Just click on "new" and you end up below the last post you viewed (and probably read). The little icon mexxer-2 suggest takes you to the last post (which might jump over a few you have not seen).

Didn't realized that "NEW" icon is clickable. And yes it works. Thanks. Good thing I opened up a thread. I really don't know that forum feature. I always do backread from my latest seen which really taking me some time especially in our local thread.
