It was from the start a bad decision to take. Even when going up, it is not going up like others, and when the market is bad, this will be one of the first ones to die.
I know that people made money with doge or shiba or even floki, but that will not be existing for far too long and all these memecoins will die in a few years. How do I know? I have seen MANY top 10 coins be out of top 50 eventually.

It's the opposite, $20 was the launching price then it has dumped to $7 and I think that there will be more to come. Those that have been hyped on this coin probably are lost.

Well looking at the chart OP wasn't far from the prediction as it seems to steadily go towards $20. Personally i don't understand what's the point of APE but it sure can ride with BAYC team and whales / influencer contacts, as it was instantly listed in everywhere. I am pretty sure that this is going to be worth $20 at least just because of the BAYC fame, but as i am unclear what's the point of this token is. I am staying away for now.

But in this context there are always those who buy at the ATH price because they are consumed by the hype by influencers on social media. As of today Ape coin is trading at $12 and up 15%. I really didn't hear a lot of things about the APE coin until the day they launched on Binance and that the price went crazy. As you mention, the price is very volatile right now and for me to risky to place any bets even short term. I think the hype will be short lived and that a lot of people will loose money on it.

And i have doubts because these ape coins seems have a lot of versions like memes token. Perhaps they all have the same team behind?. For example in memes there are shiba inu, black shiba and etc.. And now when it comes apes there's a Ape Swap and now Ape coin and Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC)?.

The drop on doge and shiba is obvious, sure they are ranked highly right now but the peak to right now is more than any market fall, it is much bigger and people lost a lot, bitcoin went down too but not this much, neither eth or bnb. So, ape will have the same faith, it will drop to crazy low levels and make people upset for sure.

And I don't think it's just gonna be a memecoin somewhat. I mean Yuga Labs have done well for themselves so far, so it's prolly better to just wait and see what they're up to.
But yeah.. The price action seems to be losing steam a bit. It'll prolly go side ways over the week and I wouldn't be surprised if it retraces down and give up some gains before to goes up again. :/

They did a great job on producing good NFTs, they stay on that for a while and now they are taking steps towards a good progress and this APE coin is something to watch for, lucky to those who have it a cheaper price. Though, I see the good hype but you still need to be careful, watch out for the whales to take profit. I just can’t help but I wish to have the nft as well, that can be more expensive by this time. The volume keeps on rising, I expect other top nfts to have their own coin as well.
What's the idea behind the project? The only thing I can see is web 3 economy, APE coin is gone and difficult to pick price to invest in an undulating price movement, what is the next project with the same idea, maybe different VCs and influencer?

True to that because people always like to ride the hype and it doesn't matter to them whether it is a meme coin. As long as everyone is addressed on its possibility to make huge money, they're going to take it and it won't be a problem to them as long as they get their profit before it is being dumped by many.
