I would like to bring up a discussion point or two regarding the Pandacoin PND re-branding,  assuming we agree to hold fast to key aspects of the original Pandacoin and community.

Remember that Our coin and community stands for:

1. Honesty
2. Fairness to all people
3. Integrity
4. Courage in the face of corruption

I was wondering if we should consider joining forces or at least consider somehow supporting organizations inline with these principles?
This may be something for the Dogecoin community to chew on as well, anyway just some food for thought for now from me Smiley .

I have been a big Pandacoin PND fan and supporter from before the launch, I have Mined from the very first minute we could Bought and used many Pandacoin PND. I have also been similarly Involved with other worthwhile Crypto currency communities and projects. Another one of the stand out communities I follow and participate in is the Zeitcoin community. I bring this up because they are trying to help the crypto currency community as a whole and have recently agreed to be "Flagship Cryptocurrency Development" sponsor of The Council Of Better Bitcoin Bureaus (CBBTCBs). The Council Of Better Bitcoin Bureaus (CBBTCBs) is the central hub for BBTCBs globally. The CBBTCBs is a not for profit group developed to encourage good business ethics and practices within the Cryptocurrency Community.

Best regards,
John Moore

Does anyone know what is wrong with panda-mine.us; are they still on 1.5.4? Confirmations are not happening, all stuck on 48- 49 left.

It appears as they are on the wrong blockchain.

Would it be possible to move this coin from Scrypt to X11? More GPU friendly and consumes less energy. That could be a good selling point of this coin.

How is it more GPU friendly? As long as the algorithm doesn't max out the usage of the GPU this is only a gimmick until someone with a patched miner comes along.

Apart from that we're currently looking at integrating PoS which is way more GPU friendly than any other hashing algorithm seeing as it doesn't use the GPU at all.

I think integrating POS is the best option, it will save energy (& GPU too Smiley but more importantly help secure the coin from attacks much better too.

No I did try to email them about the fork but never heard back, even visited their chat room a couple of times hoping to catch someone.  Had to pull my worker off, too bad that was my favorite pool, just cant reach them now Sad

The first one is more like a coin. The second one is more internationally friendly.

Thank you for the response.

Not sure I am looking at the right designs, is this the bottom one?  looks nice, but I can't find the top one offhand to see it properly.

Regarding the upcoming rebrand, there have been two options that stood out and I would like to hear some more opinions on the matter.

A serious looking submission:
