Today more & more appear ICOs, that lock tokens for a long time. So, you pay money, get or not get tokens, which will go into circulation in 6 or 9 months. What do you think about it? I'm not talking about bounty or airdrops. I'm talking about the purchased token for real money.
Yes, the project may be good, but wait 9 months. Do you think it really worth waiting so long time?
The longer you wait the more profits you will get because the full potentials of these new coins wont be achieve in just a day, developers should given some time to do their thing,a lot of developments should be done first for you to know if the coin is going to be massive or it will just fail you,so you need to monitor the developer's progress everytime.

Of course it is worth to wait because these tokens wont give you much if you sold them too early, the developers behind these new projects cannot give the full potential in just a day, these projects needs to be developed first and most likely these developers needs a lot of time,i am talking about months to years of development, the roadmap should be followed as well for you to get maximum profits.

Regarding up and coming ICOS that loom good well I've been looking into rentberry. It's a blockchain based rental company that was featured in Forbes top 10 ICO's of 2018 and it's reallly starting to get some recognition

I would say that isn't "some" ICOs but rather it has become the majority of ICOs that are currently being shilled. While I think startups and raising captial for legitimate ventures is okay, what is on going in the ICO space is nothing short of scam central. For that reason I now opt out of participating in ICOs, and I know I will be giving up significant gains with some but it isn't worth the risk or hassle for me to go through. I am comfortable earning a nominal amount in this industry, I am not a greedy person.

Currently investing in ICO projects is a great trend this year and I am confident that in the future it is a wise investment in this market. However, due to the large number of ICO projects being created, choosing a good project has been difficult and time consuming. If you have really invested in this market, I believe that you should study and analyze carefully before deciding to invest in any ICO project because it is an opportunity and also a challenge very large.

I always invest in those ICO which I like the most out of all and before investing I always read each and everything about that ICO and research about that also and when I get totally satisfied then only I invest in ICO. And till now in whichever ICO I have invested I have never waited for 9 months for the coin to be listed in the exchanges most of the coins get listed in the exchange after 2 to 4 months after ICO ends.

Not all ICO's are ending up for 9 months before seeing the worth of their tokens. You must be aware that there is what we call "road map" or "timeline" for these ICO's. It takes time to apply the real use of that token, just like VLB's timeline.
It will take time but its all worth it as it won't scam people who are looking forward for the return of their investment once its blockchain is already done and tests are done too.

YES its really worth waiting for long instead of waiting to be listed that can create a massive dumpaton. 6-9 months waiting before to unlock the tokens can create more value in the market. in circulation the only tokens can be use to purchase in the markets are those unsold or maybe a few tokens just to made the tokens more valued in the future before the distribution. but in the other side, more doubts are exist and some negative effects about this idea.

I think we do not have to wait for the old project for 9 months, but if you really want to wait you can wait but when you wait you should try to focus on other projects because time is still long and you can benefit in other project.

As long as confirm the ICO project is not a scam, so I think is worth holding for a long time, because investment ICO is a risky thing, then the long-held returns may be the biggest of all.

Here the main thing is to be sure that this ICO is not a pyramid or a scam.  If everything is normal, then I see nothing wrong with such a smooth development of the project.  Typically, tokens in such projects can be purchased at a very competitive price.

if the project does look very promising, it would not hurt us to wait until the right time to sell the tokens we have in order to avoid panic because of doubt when to sell it. Token that look to have good potential will be valuable if stored for a long time, and we can feel the benefits in the future.

Many ICO projects are a long-term investment.
So if it's a good ICO project, it's worth it to have a long-term hold, because a token like IPFS, even if it's held for three years, the rate of return is amazing.
If all investors think ICO is a long-term investment, I do not think many people will ask about the market '' which market to use ''. Even Ico is not over yet but market issues have been asked and asked to be discussed. Investment language may not yet fully understand people.

It depends,if the project have a possible success then its worthy to wait. But i think your money is always at risk if you always depend on some ico and its inevitable to be scammed also.Scam is spreading at the moment,if you won't make an scrupulous study about its project then being scammed will be guaranteed.Always make a wise decision before letting your money roll to wrong places.

Initial Coin Offering are one of the riskiest move in Cryptocurrency, as it may cause you bigger loses if you don't do some research and examination about the project you are going to join. Some of the ICO are very good at first sale until their last sale, but sometimes their developer left their project because they have now enough amount of money collected. leading to a SCAM Project.
Waiting for about 9 months is a very long run unless that ICO is a very good project that can contribute effectively in the market as well as in the betterment of the society in the near future. There is nothing wrong by giving your trust, but there is something wrong when you give out all your money in which you dont afford to lose.

If you plan to make a long-term investment these restrictions will not affect you in any way. The company needs time to develop and launch the product, after which the token's price will begin to grow.

It depends to the project that they invest, if you are good invest more profit you may reseve, and better to choose ico to make worth it.

Its true that some ICO takes time for you to make profit, but most of them failed to do so. Its better to look for great ICO which is hard to find, you really have to wear a lot of patience when you participate on any ICO. Though its really profitable but its too risky to handle so think again when joining ICO, always depend on your risk appetite.

sometimes if you can find a good project, it is worth to waiting for a long time because they need to make their position stable in the chart and in the exchange. besides that, I am sure that from time to time, they are busy to make their projects be better than the first time and they want to make sure that their customer or people which use their tokens could get the money for their investment in the project.
