I don't understand one thing, if there is a big dump, which means massive selling of coins, doesn't that means also that someone is buying those coins?

Why price is falling, when there is many people who buy and sell coins, many transactions. Why price doesn't go up?

Hang on there fellas, we're in for a sharp drop and a wild ride as panic and fear starts to dominate the market.
Exposure of bitcoins weaknesses to the bigger public will have a dramatic effect on the market.

Clairvoyant huh? the banks were hacked for tens of billions of dollars. People still use the banks

the dump already ended, right now the only way is going to be up i hope
Actually there is still some fear in traders about those stolen 60 million USD worth of bitcoin. Question is still there about whether hacker already dumped those coins or not.
The price has dropped to about $100 few days before, may be the hacker had sold part of the coins and after this problem solved he may sell the remaining.
Yeah i think about that too and now looks the coins has been stolen from bitfinex has been sold out so the price rise has occurred.

Kwukduck! It's funny how you come to life as soon as there is a dump going on, and how soon you're back under your rock as soon as the price shows signs of recovery. Cheesy

No way! it is just correction after that what happen before halving. Now price is on the correct level. I expect 3 - 4 weeks stabilization, and till december slow, but stable growing till $900 - $1000
Why do you think this will end up to $900 - $1000 by December? Anywhere between $600 to $700 is reasonable but still hold on to what you have for now, that drop is just temporary and it will go back to its previous price of $650

The panic dump has finished. The price has risen to $590 already. I think the price will be $600 in a few days.

Yes, I also believe to see the price be back on $600's again next week. I just hope it stays there and doesn't fall back to sub $600 levels.
Yes I agree. It seems that Bitcoin price is rising already little by little. Just need some time to go back to track @ $600 and up. However, $500 and up is still good, the first time I used bitcoin, it's only about $200 to $300, so this fall didn't affect me so much. Few bitcoiners already sold some of their coins due to panic and fear of losing their investment these past few days, I hope they don't regret it.

We have never seen any panic dumps that have resulted in the obliteration of bitcoin. I don't think it will be the end of the world. It is actually good for bitcoin to go sun $600 and stay there for a while. It needs to be accumulated by the ones who are not willing to buy at +$650.

So far my prediction of the price testing $600 is becoming reality. It will be very interesting to see if the price gets supported long enough to maintain a position above $600. I think it will.

everything is just fine as long as we are above the $600 price level. if we drop below $600 then it might tank even deeper. but then again, it will be a nice moment to buy some extra coins.

I wouldn't say fine, because nobody wants to see a coin (in this case bitcoin) falling down almost 50$(except those that want to buy at this stage), It's not a crash of course but fine is not. It's the 1st of the month and people get their salary on this time but maybe they are selling their additional savings on bitcoin because of the holiday that is in most of the countries.
