It is difficult to choose the ideal because in a number of characteristics it is necessary to choose and not for all, something one is suitable as well as the other. I think it's impossible to create a coin that suited literally everybody.
At this market at the moment, I think there is no perfect currency.
What I am trying to do is to diversify between a few currency. Some in the big ones and some in growing alt coins in which I see potencial.
Also, for stable profit, probably it will be better to have 30 - 50 % in bitcoin. Yes, it is the largest, yes bitcoin is an old news, but the truth is, that still, bitcoin is the coin that moves almost every other coin up/down, so the best way to gain stable profit is bitcoin.

hey bros, I am fairly new here and have only really been in crypto seriously for about a year, jumping around from coin to community often feeling a void somewhere and wonder if there are any enthusiasts also feeling the same that may have similar ideas and are open and willing to work together towards a common goal. How do you feel about working together? 
I see there are now at least a couple thousand crypto-currency projects and many of them are open source with quite liberal licensing. I wonder if one could not pick and choose through the crypto buffet and create the perfect currency chain?
Ofcourse this is very subjective, we all have different perspectives and therefore completely different ways of interpreting the system and its benefit to harm ratio. If we could be compassionate and open minded, and consider the implications of the systems on all of its constituents we would surely create a system that is simple, secure, accessible, fair, provides equal opportunity and does not oppress or harm people or our environment. I think if all we want to do is keep account, that should be pretty good base to aim for? what do you think?
if you were to devise the perfect system through picking at different components from existing currencies or just tweaks to a currency, what would it be? what would you aim for? what would you choose and why?

https://discord.gg/7gT8zmHSo here we can understand very well that we have much ease to move our money at international level but here a short if the thing exists that is not a fair for us because , if we come through the use with freedom then surely bitcoin has freedom but not in every country ( in 3-4 countries bitcoin is banned ) and in case of doller we need to pay better amount of % fee to convert in Fiat value .
So here in my opinion currency should be like we can use everywhere and if we want to convert in another Fiat value then we don't need to pay any amount of fee . And also we should be able to use without any restrictions .
The perfect currency for me is ETH because they are many coins that support it...it's growing too fast
Welcome bro! IMP many public base blockchain is convenient for using in daily life. But the price is not stable as keep It the official currency.

Cryptos as a whole have a bunch of drawbacks and so do the each coins. I don't think I'd call any single coin perfect, they have tons of positives, but idk if they're perfect.

I respect your opinion but BTC is far from perfect. Very high fees, slow transactions, huge power consumption...
There is no such thing as a perfect asset/currency. We will have to select the one appropriate for a specific application.
Right now, I believe some of the PoS v3 altcoins are better than BTC.
But that's just my opinion

Looking at the dream aspect, many coins can correspond to the perfect currency title, two for example: Bitcoin, Ethereum, while leaving the emotional side and using the logical side of the issue, there is no 100% perfect coin that matches all our needs and problems in the system, when this happens the market may have difficulty launch new coins.
So far, of all the existing coins that I know, are not literally ideal for me, but if it were possible to synthesize some good ones and take better characteristics, then it would be an ideal one!

Now there are so many different coins and tokens that it's hard to choose from them. But the ethereum quite suits me, despite its few minuses.

For me, at the moment, the best and most common currency is ETH, I started using it as soon as I got on this market and I continue it further. Maybe in the future there will be something better, but so far I'm choosing ETH
ETH is the best coin for me too. I have been using this coin for a long time because it is very convenient and fast. You will understand that this project is very strong and in demand if you study it. But of course I'm open to new technologies and projects as well.

For me a perfect currency is the one you could put to use. Fiat used as investment is perfect , bitcoin used as investment and you gained profit is as perfect. Put your currency to use and not just keep it. Invest, trade and use diversify.
I wonder what is the definition of a perfect token?
I don't think there is a perfect token, different projects have different development direction, so they all hope to promote the development of science and technology.

I think a "perfect" coin would have to satisfy too many criteria, which isn't so simple and there will always be drawbacks.
With that being said, if it has a real-world applicable use, I think it's on the right path.
According to me, there is no perfect currency. Coming to FIAT currencies, I feel that USD has always been the best currency among the plethora of currencies. Coming to Crypto, Bitcoin has, will and shall always be the king and is close to the perfect currency which many fantasize about. Honestly, anything close to perfect is fine by me. Many might feel that the extreme volatility of bitcoin and the crypto market might deter future investors and cannot be utilized for everyday purchases which is true at the moment, but will change for sure in the future with new developments like integration of lightning network etc.
I absolutely agree. there is no such thing as a perfect currency. If there is, then maybe the whole world is using it now, and may render others useless. However, there is what we call as best currency. Largely based on it's usage and applicability. Like fiat, one of the best among plethora may be US Dollars, while crypto you can have Bitcoin.
However, volatility among cryptos might pose as deterrent to future investors in terms of utility in everyday purchases, but may change in the along the way.
