"xintensity" : "4",
"kernel" : "zuikkis",
"thread-concurrency" : "8193",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"gpu-engine" : "1160",
"gpu-memclock" : "1500",

Is this all you have in your config? It only gave me 360 kh.

I'm also curious.

Someone tried gpu engine 1170... But stability is important.

Gigabyte 270 ( Non-x) 490Kh under Windows 8 with Sgminer 4.0.0

-w 256 -I 19 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 21568 --gpu-fan 80 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1500 --lookup-gap 2

Thanks, I am also at 490 now using those intensity and gpu values, will run for a while and see if it's stable and what the temps are but you might have a winner there.

The 270x settings I posted here may perform just as well on the 270. Donno, give it a crack.

shaders are not used if you have thread concurrency, so you can safely omit that line.

Does anyone know offhand how much juice these pull (W) when hashing? Be nice to make a card comparison chart or something. Really hard to find the info. Angry

i haven't managed to get a Power meter onto my rig yet, i'm waiting for the Belkin Wemo insight to be launched so i can do it remotely.. my rig is in my loft so its not very easy to get up and mess with or check the wattage.

I've never been able to get my machine up that high. every time i put the Memclock over 1400 it hangs on me. i thought it might have been because i was using Linux but you're using the same cards and OS as me, so who knows..

also, for the addition of £70 a year to my total, id rather have my cards last that little bit longer.  Wink

my box is currently in the living in a case while i test it so temps are a little high.

i undervolted the bios to 1.1v and i use the setting below.

"xintensity" : "4",
"gpu-threads" : "2",
"worksize" : "256",
"gpu-engine" : "1060",
"thread-concurrency" : "5121",
"gpu-fan" : "0-90",
"gpu-memclock" : "1250",
"gpu-powertune" : "20",
"temp-cutoff" : "90",
"temp-overheat" : "80",
"temp-target" : "75",
"auto-fan" : true,
"gpu-dyninterval" : "7",
"gpu-platform" : "0",
"monitor" : "cat >> /home/cgminer.log",
"kernel" : "alexkarnew",
"kernel-path" : "/opt/miners/sgminer/kernel"

credit goes to http://www.reddit.com/r/litecoinmining/comments/1wc5th/bounty_undervolting_gigabyte_r9_270_bios/cf0y97g for the idea.. i just weaked it a litle for my own use.

How much power does undervolting save? I'm running the cards harder, is that a risk?

Still going strong at 480 though.

hmm..

i have the asus variant and it only has 1280 shaders and if i put the memclock over 1450 the system locks up.

very strange.
Im also using the asus 270oc, what settings are you using at what speeds/temps?

I've been playing with these cards for quite a while, tracking every change in config and it's affect and I think I've found the perfect CGMiner settings.

These settings get me 480 khash/s

So here are my settings, cards are running at low temps, reject rate is low and like I said 480 khash/s per card.

For under $200 a card, I'm quite pleased.
