When grexit & others events happen, not only will be the chinese buying btc due to yuan weaking & china's capital control but also the europeans will join the bull trend.

It has already reached 1010 on Okcoin, and 1006.5 on bitfinex. The Chinese seem to be leading the charge which is bullish since they control most of the volume.

There were many people thinking that the price would plummet after the end of last year. But I saw no reason why. Bitcoin has reached a much larger number of users, and there is an ecosystem that gives people options to use it. In fact things need to improve, but it's a relatively new ecosystem, I think it's just a matter of time until we see more commercial establishments accepting it.

but also, let me tell you that these holidays have no effect because for one as you said it is not holiday in the rest of the world and even if it was, the big trades who change the market have lots of bots and maket watchers that will kick in as soon as there was a change so they can act on it which means they are not out of the market yet.

You have some valid points there but lets not take out the big possibilities that bitcoin would reach for that price since the bitcoins price still surging at this very point so 1000$ price is achievable, just try to look at the current price for now the price situation is little bit reachable for now so, the target price possibly be reached if good times will come but we don't truly know when this time to be happen.

i don't think so, it will hold the $900 mark for now, next pump is what you need to broke the 1k mark and go above the last ath

i say so because $750 was reached two time, this mean that the stability is very high there, and increase of $150 is not that big, and it's sustainable, will not get dumped as a result

Looks like bitcoin price stable at $960 in the end of 2016 and it's already 2017, not bad at all.
We start the new year with high price, bitcoin may reach $1000 in this January obviously.
Regarding bitcoin history in the last year which the price could rises so great, what will we get in this year?
I'm really sure about $2000 by the end of the year, hopefully more big companies accepted bitcoin and the devs community do some great jobs again
