2020 is really long time period for price prediction. But minimum is 12000$ and i cannot find a highest level.
If we are talking when i will sell my bitcoins then i will sell if bitcoin price hit 100k$ then i will get retired for sure.
are you sure you think what is the growth of the price of bitcoin it is really? can't understand where are taken these figures, as forum already full various forecasts to this question. .

You don't need forecasts for this. My personal target is around $100.000 too. This is normal when we take the global demand into account and it's reasonable to hold our bitcoin for the next years.

While we might overshoot to $10000+ in the coming months, there is still the possibility of a bear market in 2018/2019 that will take us back to the $2000 - $6000 range for quite some time, so to say that $12000 is a minimum price in 2020 is pretty optimistic.

Update: Scenario A still in play, but it seems the timeframe is even more compressed than anticipated. (please repost as inline image)

I expect the bitcoin price in 2020 or 3 years to reach $ 7500 or 3 times the current price. In addition, transaction costs are also higher because of the increasingly dense network.
Definitely I believe that after these years we will see the nominal price for Bitcoin. Actually, this can not stand even better. Today's price for Bitcoin is convincing enough and it confirms all these forecasts.

Specially we can see the next halving on that year so undoubtedly you will see the better price for sure in the chart. Usage and making bitcoin legal in the countries will be increase in numbers for sure according to my view. I wish my country should the move on bitcoin instead being poor economy state.
Also, the fact is that it is very strong today. It is noticeable how some countries begin to create their own crypto currency. If everything was as bad as others say, then no one would make such movements. I believe that the future is precisely behind the digital currency and the crypto currency is dumbing very great prospects.

I believe Scenario C or D since there is a block halving, but if this upadate in August is successful, then we can see scenario B,  the price actually depends on the event that will happen between today and the year 2020.  If Bitcoin dev releases a killer app then we can see Bitcoin reaching the price prediction for 2020 in an earlier years.  Or if Bitcoin fail to scale and the Aug. event does not bring any changes in Bitcoin scaling problem then we can see either a cheaper bitcoin or a stagnant one.
I think that scenario B is quite attainable by the end of 2018 or the start of 2019. Bitcoin price in 2020 will be somwhere above scenario B, might be $7000. If we go by past trends, whenever block halving happened after a small dip price has always increased. So, that wouldn't be a major factor. Price is rather dependent upon what happens in August.
Everytime something comes as an hurdle and create a big expectation without any assurity of growth or value decline. This time it has been a controversial for a long about august first based on segwit. Months back the etf approval has been expected long and finally the end result a rejection causing a piece of drop and all of a sudden started to grow gradually. Here too I expect the same.

For all we know here most of the time we've been confused about controversial around us, and for me it doesn't affect me, because it doesn't matter actually and time can tell the actual reality of what will happen next. About the decline of growth value I am still positive that the fluctuations happening was just a price surging that technically affects through panic sells of some investors because of those rumors spreading online particularly social medias. So after this big challenges of bitcoin; we may see to it that the future of price will be still at $3000 at 2020 if this will continue to be unpredictable, because of false media around us.

I think that's normal to have a fear regarding those controversies around because that talks about a serious matter about money. To make it as a clear visions of 2020's bitcoin price, well have to expect to it greater than $3000; because it may hit the peak of the economy and that is proven from last year's hit of price spikes from $900 to $2000. Actually I viewed to it that if people will just buy now for they have a purpose of holding it until 2020, three years after that possibly price of btc sell value will be on top at $6000 each 1 btc.

The fair prediction to the price will be reach is at 3000$-5000$ since we need to calculate also the dumps gonna happen on it and since the price at that level is so high i expect that the backward thrends will be happen on it but we can truly know on what would be the exact figure will be reach by bitcoins since at the first place on it year 2020 is quitely far happening for now and there's so many events wheter its bad or good that will happen so maybe we shouldn't speculate that year but instead the year is the perfect to be speculated is on the year 2018.

Which scenario from the chart below is most likely to play out in the future? What do you think?
I will periodically update the chart to reflect the BTC price movements.

(somehow I cannot get the image to display in the topic itself, any tips?)

Of all the scenarios, scenario E seem the more likely the only problem is that the biggest spike seems to come before 2020 and I think the big growth in price is going to come in that year or the year after since that is the year in which the Olympic Games in Japan are going to be held and the year in which we are going to get another halving.

It is hard to predict what will be the bitcoin price in that year but i beleived that it can be reach up to 5000 usd dollars per bitcoin im not saying it will but there are big possibilities that will be happen as soon as the world accept bitcoin also as their payment methods. Reality will be bitcoin and no other new currencury.

Scenario C, definitely. The drop in 2018 is actually a bit too sharp to be realistic, but that in the overall seems realistic.

Realistic but everyone is very optimistic that once we are now at 2018 everything will be fine.

The price of bitcoin will be higher and many people will start loving to use it.

After having in 2020 I expect that price of Bitcoin might be even higher than $10000-$12000 - but this is the most optimistic scenario.
Realistically I would say that price should be higher than $5000 and if we won't reach 5k by 2020 then there is a high chance that Bitcoin failed somewhere along the way.
