FUD

I don't know why people read and spread such FUD, especially for threads made by accounts with very few posts, clearly made especially for this purpose.
But life is fun, let's grab some popcorn and watch a new episode of FUD and market manipulation.
If Bitcoin will crash so badly, it'll come back easily again. It's getting better and better on this.
I also think that such rumors are spread by those who are interested in order to undermine the credibility of bitcoin and to bring down the price on the market. But I am sure that all of their efforts will be in vain. All perfectly understand that now the price will go up and you need to be a complete idiot to now sell bitcoins.

It won't collapse even if it get's regulated people might stop buying but there is no way or technology which will give information about every single investor until they find something like this it will be too late and btc collapsing wouldn't mean money would get removed from the crypto market people will surely switch and some other coin will become the main currency. There are really famous names in btc they won't allow this to happen.

Where is my ring of blades...
there won't be any "collapse" of the bitcoin price.

there will surely be some drop in the near future as we get closer to the SegWit2x fork and it won't matter how it is going to happen, even if it doesn't fork it doesn't matter. in reality the news alone can cause a drop. it won't be a collapse and it won't be a huge one either because we already had a fork drop and also we recently had another drop due to China (reason doesn't matter the drop happened anyways). market won't be ready for any drop for some time.

all the speculation that is talking with certainty about a big drop and give numbers as targets are a 100% bullshit and should be ignored. the fact is, we don't know yet.

What are they saying the price will co;;apse the charts sure do not say that. We can expect at some time that we will get  a retrace and will pull back. I surely do not except to see this back at 800.00$.

Mr Kenneth Rogoff said that he feels Bitcoin will fall. He feels that this is all due to regulation and central banks. I do feel the price will not stay at this high and I do not see it going much below 3000.00 $. We will have
to look at the liquidity and the trading volatility, if this does not happen the chance is the price will just remain in a tight range. As we know as Financial traders this is very common in all instruments.
Like you I see it retracting too considering it has been continuing it's upward trend for a while now. I don't expect a big crash to 2000$ below though. I just expect it to go to lower than 4000$ again if ever retracement really do happen. If I were you OP I won't believe what an expert says about bitcoin falling etc. It is the most typical FUD they do to bring btc price down.

In this life we can not be on the same page every time and we most understand that our perception will ever be different if  bitcoin will grow as your enemies published you more than your friends. For me we may not ever got below $3000 in five years to  8 years to come. Bitcoin will fall is a circle of the market and some time price must do correction for us to experience a pump up.  Those forecasting that bitcoin will collapse will live to regret.

i always find it pretty funny how some people try so hard to justify their stupid FUD
I surely do not except to see this back at 800.00$.

with dumb reasons:
.... Mr Kenneth Rogoff said
.... due to regulation and central banks.
.... this is very common in all instruments.

Your big daddy Dimon tried this recently and we all saw the reason why. you are not even trying as hard Wink

the only way bitcoin can collapse is if its users start acting stupidly and give in to changes that ruin bitcoin (like forks). so far this has not happened hence there is no reason for any collapse. all your banks, governments, regulations, ... are making useless noise.

How could you say so? Past happenings will became different as of today since bitcoins are now establish and will rounded around the globe unlike before where it is only been holded by numbers of people. And don't be so serious on liquidity guessing since some of the calculation is wrong and maybe you should point out the adoption since this is why bitcoins go stronger.

It reminds me of the house pricing bubble that has hit the UK in recent years. The trends show uunsustainable growth as the rise was continuous and not showing any signs of slowing down. The nature of most assets is that they work in similar patterns. If there's too much growth over a short period of time, once the 'hubbub' dies downs, the price will correct itself and revert to a 'normal' price point.
The only problem with applying this to BTC is that BTC is different to all other assets and has continued to shock economists. Don't take their word for it because you can rest assured that BTC will be noticing new ATH in the near future.

UUUMM, no. We have already seen the crash and it was not as bad as we thought. What we are witnessing now is the recovery phase. On November when Segwit2x fails, we will start the moon phase. By December 31, 2017 we will all be happy seeing Bitcoin trading in its new high at $6000.

first of all stop spreading FUD

secondly stop spreading FUD in altcoin board about bitcoin. there is a board for your FUD called speculation board Cheesy this board you posted this in is for altcoins!

finally. a lot of people have been saying a lot of bullshit about bitcoin for as long as bitcoin existed. you think you and the person you are quoting are the same to do so! even back when price was $1 idiots online were saying "bitcoin price will collapse". it really doesn't make any difference though. bitcoin is on its own path and even if millions of topics say it will collapse it will not and if millions of topics say it will rise it still will not.

the trend is obvious and perfectly visible on the charts...

Your basis is not acceptable and reasonable too. How come that bitcoin value will collapse, China a couple weeks past attempted to take down bitcoin, where many of the traders again got panic about what this country did. But now look at the value it is already full recovered, in fact it is already closed to 5000$.

What? I don't think it will happen (with the current trend that's happening today). See, even though China banned ICO's bitcoin still catch up with the price after few weeks - yes, it affected the value in short term. But there's also a chance that China will resume ICO's and eventually the value will go up again. No one knows what will happen in the future that's the only thing that I can say as of now.

Yeah sure a collapse will definitely follow, but not before bitcoin breaks through another all time high. Its a still a few weeks out before the bitcoin gold fork and there is much more time for people to buy and hold bitcoin.

So i believe the best move right now would be to BUY and HODL. You can expect another bitcoin pump very soon.

even if everybody agree to the fact that this gold-fork is one more "fake" btc... its seem to me clear that majority of traders will do the same behaviour like we so in the previous fork... and for me is absurd... becouse if btc comunity go on in this way... why not a fork every couple of months?' it could happen!! so... thats depend just of the behaviour of the comunity. anyway, even if im a btc holder... more forks get real (and followed by people that sell alt fot this event).. more btc get a scam coin becouse of his comunity. i dont want to belong to this part of the btc holders... so i will not sell my altcoins to have more btc for pandering one more absurd fork.

I can see a crash coming. Just look back at Bitcoin's history, there's cycles of booms and busts. Seeing it bottom out in low to mid 2000s is not outside realm of possibility...
