Funny how this thread is still valid and relevant after more than 1 year, and people still wonder why this happens. It's as if people never learn or never bother to educate themselves. In any case, like all the other posters have said, this is either just:

2. is temporary,
3. just hold and be patient.

This is just a usual market fluctuation and nothing more to worry about. Most of the Altcoins are depending on Bitcoin market performance that now Bitcoin price is rising so the Altcoins market is now slowly recovering too.
The same situations kepts happening, and now it's time to be more clever in deciding when to lose or grip. If we see price plunges down, don't let the opportunity be gone at one glance. Get those prospects at lower price and add them to your holdings.

Bitcoin movement today is among the strangest I have seen. I was on tether comfortably waiting for bitcoin to hit below $9000 from $9200 and then in the next 10 minutes bitcoin gained extra $1000 to reach $10300 to produce a very long green candle. I am still in tether though till I understand this movement
It is not a surprise mate for this kind of market. Price fluctuation seems too strong and even experts can't be able to read what will happen next.The actual scenario shows that nobody is controlling the market and even whales can't make it.
