when giving out the prizes can you save the 5btc coin for last? i think that would be best, i always see the raffles give away the best prize first and i think thats weird lol

Can't do this if once you win tickets are scratched. Unless during the 5btc coin last draw that every ticket is fair game again

The organisers of this raffle; myself, TMAN and Hhampuz have agreed to stick to standard raffle rules.

When a block number is picked, the first prize won will be the 5 BTC coin.

Thanks for your understanding.

I am proud to say that this looks like it is definitely going to happen.

10 BTC was needed to be raised (which seemed downright impossible at first), and as of this post, we have hit the 75% mark.

There is currently 7.50721 BTC in the escrow address Shocked

https://blockchain.info/address/1AtqioNxpmJVWTdnLMGUjEcsNaHfyGKNv7

Thank you all. This is history in the making.

That is a pretty cool idea, from my perspective. I will discuss with people and see what they think Smiley

Again - THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE ENTERED/WILL ENTER. I suspect this raffle will go down in bitcointalk history.

Hi this is Zepher,

Today is January 15th 2017 and this message serves as a note that now we have gone past the 70% mark as stated in OP, there will be no refunds of ticket entries, this raffle WILL go ahead.

The Raffle Escrow Address is: 1AtqioNxpmJVWTdnLMGUjEcsNaHfyGKNv7

This address currently holds 7.50721 BTC of the 10 BTC Target. So we are just under 2.5 BTC short of our target. After seeing Hhampuz and his multitude of successful mini raffles offering a ticket to this main one, I do believe that this will happen.

Special thanks go to TMAN for buying such a large amount of tickets. You sir, are both a legend, and a madman Cheesy

***IMPORTANT INFO***

All prizes will be sent to their respective winners via UPS Express. You have a choice on whether your prize is insured or not, and there is no additional costs for choosing insured delivery or any costs in any respect.

You need to be fully aware of this though: For your prize to be insured, I need to declare the full and true value (incl Bitcoin value). Depending upon your countries laws, you may incur customs fees/import duties. These fees can be significant. This is YOUR responsibility to pay. Us collectors and frequent traders usually declare such items as "Novelty Tokens" or similar, with a very low value to prevent the recipient being charged duty. It works the majority of the time (100% for me personally so far).

I will provide secure UPS Express to all winners, but should you choose the "No Insurance" route, I will not be held liable to any stolen/missing packages (I have a 100% success rate using UPS and have never lost anything with them, but I must state this to cover myself).

Basically, the choice is yours. Take insurance (included) and risk Import Duties, or choose No Insurance and there is always a tiny chance something could go wrong. Should you choose No Insurance and UPS fails me, I will not accept responsibility. My Part in this raffle consists of:

Escrowing funds
Making the order
Reshipping prizes to winners

I am participating and have paid for tickets in this as well.

At this moment in time, 201/256 spots have been taken. Just 55 tickets remain. If you have not yet paid yet, please do so as soon as possible.

My next update will be me placing the order!!

Regards,

Zepher

Is it clarified somewhere if one ticket can win multiple prizes? If not, I think it should be..

he posted earlier -once a ticket has won - that ticket is dead - but you can buy 5 tickets and end up with all 5 coins

Alright. Could Hhampuz please add this rule into the first post too?

Meh.
Is it clarified somewhere if one ticket can win multiple prizes? If not, I think it should be..

I was going to make it so that one ticket could win several times. But I forgot it once this was posted and people had already purchased tickets. So I decided that we'll follow normal procedures and just have as if 1 ticket wins it becomes void. I apologize for this and hope it does not disappoint anyone.
