Bah.  The problem with Greece is that the average citizen was told from birth he'd get bunches of free stuff, and believed it.  And now they want their free stuff, but there is no money left.

So I'm a believer in the economic utility of monetary interest.  I got it about historically, jews pushing the idea of money lending and all that stuff.  But we're a long way from 15th century Florence.

whoever does the jews' work is of the jews whether that person happens to be ethnically jewish or not. not everyone involved in moneylending is a jew, not all hollywood producers are jews, not everyone who had a hand in kicking the palestine arabs out of their country was a jew. but the jews are to blame for it all.

Regardless, "interest" definitely has a part in individual, corporate and national economic policy.  I can't fathom how "usury and jews" can get mixed into that equation.  Absolutely it can be misused and abused, just as any tool can be.

The EU Central Bank controls the system not the banks owners or capitalists as you  call them.  Centralized Gov't will fail in every case, always has, always will.  Case in Point, The US started with virtually no Gov't and became a world powerhouse starting with nothing and did not start to fail until the Gov't swelled to what it is today.  Why would anyone want to repeat what doesn't work and discourage the only thing that does work.  Democratic and Socialists ideas only work when you have a fat society but eventually they bankrupt a nation.  Canada was smart enough to recognize this flaw 15 years ago and they scaled back early.  The US is poised for a return to power as long as we can get rid of these upside down liberals(who by the way, make all their money thru capitalism, selling Books and BS to the masses).

Are you guys kidding???  You think its bankers or whatever??  Don't think it might just be a superb socialist society.  This is the cost of being a bleeding heart liberal socialist.  Its pretty simple economics.  Spend more than you have, you run out of credit and go broke.  Its a tax and spend Socialist and Communist Gov't that is the root cause of most of the worlds problems.  Trillions spent on hunger yet more people are hungry?  These people are fed mostly by private capitalist enterprise with monies earned thru capitalism.  Central Gov't are always a losing entity in every case since the development of modern society.  So why do we not avoid mistakes and replicate success.  We've seen it yet we still close our eyes to reality because we want to feel good now without the discomfort of putting on our own masks before assisting the child next to you.  In the end, we drown and take the kids down with us.  Its an easy fix.  Live within our means and stop borrowing.  I choose to vote for anyone who won't keep spending and borrowing.  Fear is what politicians sell and the vast majority keep buying it.  People are stupid.

Greece accumulated all that national debt worth 150%of its GDP, when the pro-capitalist parties were governing (the center-right New Democracy and the center-left PASOK). Right now, they are having a Communist head of state in Alexis Tsipras. Let's wait for 3-4 years and watch whether he will be able to rescue the Greeks or not.

Yesterday, I was going through one of the Indian newspapers. A news report in it claimed that now hundreds of Greek sex workers are traveling to India (especially to Delhi), to earn their livelihood. You can imagine how bad the situation has to be in Greece, if the young women are forced to travel to a country like India, where women are treated no better than cattle. Till now, the majority of the foreign sex workers in India were Uzbeks. Now the Greeks are replacing them.
