I friend of mine summed up what I've been saying for nearly half a decade really well. If bitcoin splits in multiple pieces then:

- The immutability myth will vanish.

- The consensus crap will be fantasy.

- The decentralization a fairytale.

- Anonymity bulls**t.

- Cheap and fast transactions a lie.

One thing is for sure though - crypto is the future so then the big questions is, where will users, miners, merchants, banks, corporations, etc., go when they finally wake up to the obvious truth?

And apples - Romanian grandmas do love handing out apples.

Do they/we just mine the next most profitable coin for ever? Will there be a final set of coins in a similar way there are a somewhat final set of fiat currencies now?
