A senior Russian official has canceled a planned visit to the United States, claiming he feared a second civil war being waged by opposing political forces there.
Dmitry Rogozin, the head of Russia's Roscosmos State Space Corporation, who served as deputy prime minister until May 2017, said Thursday that rising tensions between Republicans and Democrats were leading to a breakdown of U.S. society. This included the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), one of many federal agencies affected by a government shutdown due to an inability for the rival U.S. parties to agree on funding for a border wall proposed by President Donald Trump.

I seriously doubt a civil war is underway in US. Rogozin is famous for giving fantasy description to events, exaggerating to absurd.
You need to know that Rogozin was on sanctions least until October 2018, unable to visit USA. That ban was temporarily taken off so he could visit NASA, with NASA being shutdown by government, the visit is no longer necessary so Rogozin takes the most out of this, imho.

Come on manipulation has been the cornerstone of crypto markets from day one. One's view of blatancy is another's surprise (see wall observer thread for people that continue to be surprised by each and every movement)
Very true, bitcoin has always been manipulated. But with the approval of bitcoin futures came a lot of liquidity which bitcoin never had before. This brought a lot more Wall Street money (billions) which gave way to much more manipulation.
Hopefully the'll start manipulating in the other direction soon =D
The manipulation of price tends to be in the direction that yields the most profits, pretty much every-time. The more news/fake news stories that are pushing for the price to go up will result in the opposite. And then when the price goes down, WO thread members are quick to find a news story that can justify the price swing (as if this is the reason).

Very possible. If we get another big drop then $1,000 is a very real possibility. Then a big pump to over $40,000 and a sudden collapse after that. Good time to play the futures market.

Get out of crypto before January 15, 2019. Look to re-enter near March to May.
For real? I was pretty certain we would test $2500 and maybe collapse down to $1000 but given the recent price stability over $4,000 and now talk of “Russians” buying made me think we bottomed out and a big run is on the way.
So much crazy manipulation in Bitcoin/Crypto by Wall Street, err, Russia, that making accurate short term predictions have become really difficult.
One this is for sure, Wall Street, err, Russia, is gonna swing Bitcoin to crazy extremes and make insane amounts of money off leveraging futures.
