The thing is, the casino can only release customers detailed based on demand and that can only happen if their is a discovered case of money laundering but the government will not use other customers details to for fraudulent activities, they will only use it to carry out their investigation on the customer and can know where and when to capture the person if it requires to. While we can give some reputable casino the benefits of doubt, you may not know what is going on in the background.
That's true, because most times while we trust a gambling casino for keeping our KYC details safe, lest not always be 100% sure it's always save, most especially when it comes to submitting KYC details on new casinos who are just new to the gambling business, and in most cases, it's likely to do the unthinkable just to generate more revenue for it's business. But however, when it comes to old casino who has built reputation over time, then on such casino, our details are likely to be safe, simply because they have been into the business for long time, and know the importance of customer's trust, unlike new casinos who are likely to be entice if offered few millions of dollars in exchange of customer's details.

Well, like we have already talked about this countless times, even the reputable casinos might not release details to the wrong hands, but they can give them to the authorities if they demand them, and those casinos also have staff that are working with them. Some of those staff are very professional in their jobs, which is why they were hired, but they can do unimaginable things with customer details when their director is not aware.

No reputable casino would want to sell customer details to scammers. First, such an act is going to tarnish their image; second, they will lose a lot of customers; and third, they're already making lots of money and therefore would not just sell off customer details for some cheap offer. The thing is that it is only a non-reputable casino that can trade customer details for extra profit, and that is why it is necessary to always make a choice for a good casino.
For the majority of us, that is what we think. I know it's crazy but I think anomalies can also happen secretly on them, so it's better to not be confident at all times and defend them because they might only laugh at us in the background.

Yes, they are already making lots of money but you know, money-making can also be addicting and I don't think they will only get and accept cheap offers. They aren't still dumb enough to trade their reputation to it. They are only unlucky once someone finds it out and show a solid proof to the public or to the authorities. This is when the first and second thing that you said or so-called consequences can come.
It all boils down in the end that majority of the casinos cannot be trusted completely. That's probably why some gamblers are still hesitant to comply with KYC, because the risk is not actually on the casino but on the customer itself as its personal details might be passed onto other casinos, especially if one casino is affiliated with other casino.

However, highly reputable casinos might be an exception to that. Thinking that they have been working on building their reputation for years, and yet just by biting a cheap offer, everything will be ruined and customers will never trust them once and for all.

Traditional sportsbooks have your address, your phone number, your email address, and more info about you. Some sportsbooks sell your information to list creators. Those list creators sell the info to tout services that call you to get you on board with their plans.

Well, apart from Web 3 casinos, other online casinos also request for customers original details during registration and KYC verification, just as the traditional casino would also request those details. Cryoto casino that allows gamblers to use the casino without knowing their original details is only on Web 3. There are some regulated crypto casinos or shady crypto casinos that can actually get customer details and sell them to scammers, or the casino could either be hacked and customer details could be leaked.

We have to play safe in everything we do, gambling is for fun and we should not only go after the fun leaving our privacy behind, as you have pointed out, we cant afford to make use of the gambling platform that will be a total discomfort upon us since we know that whatever information release to them are not hundred percent safe, they can decide on doing anything with them at their own pleasure or convenience while at our own detriment.

When it comes to reputability among companies, it is always relative, we can't say that a reputable company can't do a thing with 100% assurance, we should only vouch for ourselves and give them some degree of doubt regardless of what we perceive them to be. A lot is happening underground in companies that you may not know, and if truly a company is reputable, are their employees? Bad actors could be found in the sanest environment, they are just desperate for the benefit. That is another angle I like you to view it from.

I know a few companies they've called out in the past in this regard despite people believing they are reputable, and in most cases, the employees with that responsibility may be sacked or changed as the case may be after investigation, but has the deed not been done already despite the management are innocent? There are also individual cases that are secluded when the customers are persons of interest. For these, we should always know that our data are no longer private when shared so far it is human beings we are dealing with.

Yes, bro, you are right. This thing you said actually made me remember a telecommunications company in my country that once had issues with network disruptions some years ago. According to the news, the reason for their network disruption was because of the bad actor that was working underground for that company. For all his years of service, the company did not know that the staff didn't have good intentions for the company.

For customers that are using that network in my country, before you purchase a sim card, you will have to pass their KYC requirements during the sim registration, and what if the bad staff has its hand on all the vital information of customers? That was just what I was wondering about.

For the majority of us, that is what we think. I know it's crazy but I think anomalies can also happen secretly on them, so it's better to not be confident at all times and defend them because they might only laugh at us in the background.

You are right.

Pretty sad that in 2024 noone has yet come up with a simple concept of just checking 2FA and user's device, for unlimited access and 100% KYC Free experience for gamblers.

Gambling commissions are generally leeches, and the only problem is that people who can truly afford to run such a casino (Elon Musks and Jeff Bezos's of the world) have no interest in colliding with governments - specifically, the U.S. DOJ - in order to 'just be associated with the best modern casino possible'.

I would trust my money to a Musk-branded casino, and so would you.

And it would cost him 10% of what he paid for Twitter X.

Why do people even comment on this wannabe blog post but the useless nitrobetting guy, I don't get it.

Rise of crypto betting, it's basically on top already and only growing more. And nitrobetting, even though starting early with crypto is a terrible site which scammed their users in the past, before they rebranded from nitrogen sports to nitrobetting.
Good thing names aren’t easily changed on the platform and as such, someone familiar with past histories is always going to come. That’s the part where you come in but, people are here for the thread’s title and pay less attention to the guy in question, he doesn’t seem to be promoting anything here either neither, is anyone getting a blog out of a thread, seriously, in Bitcointalkforum… it would be the first of its kind.

Staying on topic; most gamblers want a safe and comfortable to gamble, even have taxes free gambling experiences and cryptocurrency gambling seems to have all that covered. Having to answer why not gamble on crypto casinos/bookies would give you reasons to.

Current web3.0 casinos are not fully decentralized. They are just using partial web3 technology through the feature of connecting directly a web3 wallet on the casino but still the balance is needed to be sent on the casino balance that ends the decentralized part.

Most of web3 casino has a gambling which is inevitable for them in able to stay in business legally without encountering legal problems in the future. Besides, gamblers preferred playing on license casino since this is the sign now for a “trusted” casino since no license casino often turn into scam.

I believe fully decentralized web3 casino will never materialize since even defi is now being regulated just to stay alive in the market due to legal concerns.
The casino platform is different from other project concepts in that it easily adapts to new development concepts, although some casinos have adopted web3.0 casinos with various new feature developments and the most superior decentralized concept, but as you said, it is not completely decentralized if we have to send balances to the casino wallet.

The main review of casino platforms is based on trust and ratings so gamblers rarely substitute other casino platforms even if other casinos are better and have been decentralized, but trust and fair play must come first to determine gambling at the right casino.

Crypto gambling or web 3.0 casinos are a new thing in gambling industry, in general. Indeed it is something which shows quite of an advancement in this industry but we, in this industry, have known such thing for years. It's biggest advantage over traditional gambling platforms is being safe from taxation given that withdrawals and deposits would be done through blockchain but other than that is exposing bigger risk. You are not only at risk for gambling but also with market price changes, therefore not all things are in a positive direction with web 3.0. Gas fees are sometimes high as well. With regards to privacy, KYC is also being implied to many crypto gambling site, so what's your take? Is it still a pro or not?
We have known the concept of web3 casino sites for a long time and some web3 casino sites are already in the market and will come in the future. They have nothing to do with kyc issues, without kyc you can gamble here anonymously, but where there are more advantages, there are also more disadvantages. Scammers take advantage of the gambling industry to do a lot of big fraud because there are a lot of big scams. Since everyone is anonymous in web3 casino, scammers will have more opportunities to scam here.

That provably the risk of web3 casinos so with those cases of possible hacking or scamming we should be more selective on those casinos offering their services here. But so far there is a successful casino running here and so far lots of people are enjoying to participate on different activities happening there. Although I can't mentioned the name since maybe it could catch the interest of people so its up for them to search that casino.

Also what I'm worried is the possibilities of web3 casino for frauds or money laundering schemes so hopefully we will not came to the point that these technology will be tag as illegal by the government since it help scammers to wash their money. I like web3 to succeed since somehow it could able to protect the privacy of people since most of web3 casino doesn't required yet a KYC to their costumers that's why people are looking at them as good alternative especially if they don't like to undergo on that KYC process asked by some casino.

So I think centralized casinos are more fun because the live support is very good so if there is a problem it can be solved quickly.

When it comes to revenue then there's no doubt that this business is really that profitable due to addicted gamblers. This is why we do really see those new platforms
that do launches every now and then. So it wouldnt be shocking that they would really be trying out to create one but of course when it comes to capital
and other needed things on which its not something simple and never been cheap.

Taking into account all these kinds of premises, it is very understandable that things are like this, but deep down there is no philanthropic millionaire who has created a casino where the house edge is 100% lower, and who always puts himself first so that the casino players win , I know that there are many people in the world who have an amount of money that they will never be able to spend in their life, if this is so, should they invent projects of this style to see how things would develop? I think there would be addicts to winning, and although it sounds very fanciful, well , it is something that I do not know if any of those millionaires would launch into such an adventure. If this type of casinos come out, what would happen to the current ones? because it would be very strong competition for them.

Well, and the thing is, such casinos can never come, or exist, why? The reason is simple, men naturally are never satisfied with money, and it doesn't matter how much they have, millions, billions or even much more, they did still be looking for new projects they will invest in that will help them increase their networth.

Billionaires will rather donate money to orphanage homes, hospitals, schools, and other places, and or possibly launch their own charity organization or foundation through whhcn they can also solicit for support from other millionaires and billionaire to take different type of projects to different communities around the world.

I do not think any one of such people will ever decide to build a casino where players will always win due to the algo, but rather, they will build that casino to make more money for themselves.
