Congratulations to the OP, who should formally se his rank set to Sr. Member next Wednesday (according to the Activity date calendar included in this thread: FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit -> https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12saLhlUoqIdairxzuSPu6EYGrt7FN2lOstO1yDjCEbA/edit#gid=1012758442).
And oh yes I have seen my new rank -Sr. Member- it's been and exciting road leading to this station, -heading to the NEXT- I would have never dreamt/imagine this. It's possible for other ranks to move, I hopping in/dropping in with filthy/miserable knowledge, still not where it should be but I got some good ground/foundation knowledge am working on. Once again I appreciate you and everyone.

Glad to see this, many more inspirations like this hopefully will really lead other members to contribute better in this forum. probably the goal is not for gaining the merit, just try to make a good contribution and then Merrit will follow you. I also have a quite similar experience, probably as others, struggling after I became a shitposter at the past time. Everything can be done if we have efforts to do that and if we want to change our bad habits.
I, you, and many other user have provent found contribution is the best way to speed up the process of learning about something.
So far, my contribution to forums and users is still very minimal due to my limited knowledge. But I never feel comfortable with the current situation because I can still provide something of quality and useful if I want to learn.

Indeed, once you have contributed, your title will be much higher than the thousands of other users on the forum, many of whom are bounty hunters. I'm not saying they are bad users, but many of them never even care about the quality of the writing they write. This was what I experienced a year earlier and it was completely useless.

Congratulations to you mate that you have reached the full member rank in this forum because you have made a lot of outstanding contributions of contents or threads in this forum. I hope you would continue making this kind of contribution in this forum because you could immediately reach a much higher rank by the next few months. I am also motivated because of you and hoping that I could reach a higher rank. Unlike other low rank members in this forum, since the day the merit system was implemented most of them have lost their interest in learning and making contributions in this forum.

Firstly, I'll say, congratulations to the owner of OP. You have every reason to be proud of yourself, knowing fully well where you started from and how your curiosity has got you. Its no doubt curiosity rewards the curious!
Not all of them are newbies (with less than 30 activities), many of them have hundred of activities (from bounty reports and spam posts) and they would have been Sr. or Hero members if the merit system had not kicked off in 2018.
Your so right on this one. For a fact, a lot of accounts like this exists on this forum and they've really done nothing wrong by choosing a way to go 😁, the only thing is, they shouldn't expect same results on all paths. At times, the way doesn't lead to the same destination. So, my advice for them is this,
When you walk👣 a path and it isn't getting you where you need to be, you can always take a turn and you might just notice where you all got it wrong. And it doesn't end there, correct them.
The merit and activity systems works hand-in-hand in check mating each other under a simple principle. Know them, follow them and you'll only get better. 👍

It is very encouraging to see how others rank up, it could some sort of motivation. We all have come with that challenge as a merit system comes as one requirement to rank up. Though it takes a while to move for another level but is was grateful that you made it mate and I believe you deserve it.

Improve on yourself but most importantly don't forget to enjoy the forum because that's all that counts. The more you enjoy the forum the more you get motivated to keep the forum moving forward either with your selfless works (spam, scam busting) or quality contributions.
That was very entertaining to hear.

Some had come up but never think about enjoying the forum instead of chasing the merit to rank up. I may consider myself being less contributor to the forum but somehow I'd learn a lot from here more than a thing to learn outside (google search/ or any search engine) which I'm very thankful to be a member of this forum.

I believe they can though I noticed that most of them are impatient. Especially for those who are already well-rounded with crypto before they created their account or at least a fast learner like you.

Anyway, you are now almost a Senior Member, and take note, within a year only (I'm pretty sure you will get the remaining 9 merits in no time) Shocked. That was very impressive. I wish you a more productive and happier journey here and hoping for more shared knowledge to come to help our co-members.

The merit system may seem hard especially for newbies,
I disagree for newbies going or ranking to Jr member -one merit and thirty activities- that doesn't seem in any way as hard. Jr member to member is -ten merit and 60 activities- member to full member is -100 merit and 120 activities- and so it goes.
Newbies has a friendly environs if they cease the gestures and kindness. Newbie with good quality/work will survive/make it.

You are now having a long journey and run with a lot of contributions on your contents and threads and also I'm looking forward to you for your next goal which is the road to Sr. Member. I think after a few months you will reach this rank immediately.

Also to the newbies, I would like to encourage you to see this as an inspiration to create a good thread like this just to make a lot of merits and help you to rank up also don't settle what you have right now set a goal every time so you can make a lot of progress.

The merit system may seem hard especially for newbies, but if you will really work hard, it won't be a problem, though merit is not the main purpose of joining here in the forum. This forum is like give and take, share what you know and learn from others what you don't know.

Btw I also want to congratulate you in advance because you are close to being a senior member.  Like what I always say, you won't reach that rank or get that merits if you are not deserving of it. Keep inspiring other users with your effort and hope to see more of your contributions in the future.

Most members becomes too comfortable when they reach a certain rank that their post quality begin to fade away. Signature campaigns also contribute towards this decline in post quality as they begin to find it difficult to meet their weekly post qouta at the same time delivery above average content on the forum.
+10 for this. If you came from a lower rank then you must consistently show that you deserved the rank. Dont stop putting effort on sharing and posting quality topics and response to those who are in need of help. Quota in signature is quite a pressured cooker. So I agree that it contributes to some users performance.

Nicely done OP. Your contributions still a short list but I know you would not stopped on contributing here on forum. Advance congratulations to your rank up to senior member. Another evidence of hard work is witness here.

a very well said advice! with all the congratulatory, praise and encouragement the OP has receive from other members, this one feels the sincerest among them all.

@OP congratulation to your nearing one year anniversary in the forum, I hope you reach the Sr. Member rank before reaching 1st-year achievement in the forum.

Some big mistakes -newbies and low rank- makes
+ Taking/seeing harmless criticism as attack
+ Not ready/striving/willing to see those issues -critically pointed- and do something about them
Then the THE FORUM IS MEAN/HARD AND SO MUCH MORE  gets into their cranial nerves sending wrong messages to the brain.

Don't take this the wrong but I think you haven't done so well for yourself (and you know that too). From my observation, there are so many accounts on the forum that from the way they started I expected them to burst into the limelight with their quality works. Take a look at your best works so far and ask yourself if that's the best you can offer. Not saying you're bad but I'm just saying there's more you're yet to deliver, dig deeper.

People should only share their knowledge when they want to and they are extremely confident in it. No one should be doing this just to earn merit, this often results in shitposts and misinformation. And you don't need to create new threads to do so, you can make good replies in good threads and contribute to this forum and earn merit.

The more I look at this comment the less I agree with your point. So many high rank members don't take newbie replies serious, some think user behind newbie account are actually noobs and novice to crypto.
I know opinion and how we view projects differs but many newbie comments are ignored even when they try to contribute something constructive and unique. That's why you see many new post when they are not necessary.

Yesterday, I saw a thread where a newbie created a topic on how scam bitcoin could be, isn't that ridiculous.

for the OP, you are among the members who are able to survive while in this merit system. You as a beginner are making a useful contribution to this forum. Unlike other newbies who are only concerned with the work of posting bounty reports which makes their accounts more likely to be spam than useful posts.

You may be a good example for other beginners who have just joined or have joined for a long time but have not experienced a rise in rank.

+ DO/GIVE WHAT YOU HAVE OR KNOW: you are free to stock more on what you learnt to get more from it, when contributing lay it down by what you know/understand.
