Financial literacy is an important skill to have in this 21st century...One of the primary reasons why financial literacy is crucial in education is that it provides students with a solid understanding of personal finance.Financial education teaches people the value of saving, budgeting, and investing to achieve financial stability and security. It assists people in understanding how to handle their money properly.

The highest form of education that an average adult is expected to have should fall in financial education.Age is not a barrier presently to acquire knowledge,as people need to be taught how to take Care of their own financial future.Today so many adults struggle to handle their finances properly as a result of a poor financial awareness or knowledge.
They can learn financial matters like thier needs, wants, budgeting, investing and debt management.
Financial literacy can be obtained through reading books, listening to podcasts, subscribing to financial content, or talking to a financial professional.

Financial literacy can help protect individuals from becoming victims of financial fraud, a type of crime that is becoming more trending in the society.

Lack of financial literacy is one of the reasons for quite massive poverty of the population. The reason is banal - many people do not really understand what money is, do not effectively earn, foolishly spend,... Financial literacy should be given from the 1st grade of school, and the game "Right earning and right spending" - in kindergarten!
In some countries, financial literacy is a government program. Study, for example, how this process is organized in Finland - from the curriculum for the youngest children to courses for adults.
You nailed it here where you mentioned something like foolish spending. I totally agree with what you have stated here. I believe that this is something that should be taught in schools as early as possible. I wasn’t taught anything about economizing at such an early age, but children quickly know what money so fast and we forget that we need to also teach them about it (in School). I hope that this can be added to curriculum and even if it isn’t, something around such field needs to be taught to everyone on earth, no one is an exemption.

learning financial literacy at early age is indeed useful in molding the outlook of the person to his financial status or condition. i guess, that's where a lot of educational establishment is lacking. they are focus on other things that they think are more important. i also believe that if this aspect of life is learned early, people will be more mindful of their expenditures and maybe a lot know how to manage their financials.

in the usual scenario, we only learn such facet of life when we are already working as we are already spending our own money.

Education is key in every aspect of life. Let no one be deceived that education doesn't pay. Even if it doesn't pay financially, then it pays in several other areas of living. Ignorance is a disease and illiteracy resonates ignorance too, so both have an adverse effect. If something is unknown, then it's only right that knowledge on that subject is acquired as it'd aid further dissections and acquaintances to it too.
Without the right mindedness to how finance is generated, managed, should be expenses and should be saved, then financial stability isn't certain. One has to know what he's doing before he can even try to be perfect at it. Without the right financial knowledge being grasped, then I'm so certain that it'll be difficult to bask fully in a financial environment. Finance is one key factor in the world today and once an error is made on it, then it sure would affect other factors of living in their own separate ways.

Education has a greater impact on the future, especially when it is provided at a young age. Incorporating financial literacy into education programs is an important topic that should be included in every education system. Growing up knowing certain things can put children in an advantageous position.

You are right, mistakes made in finance affect many things. The right financial knowledge acquired as a result of the right education enables a person to use this advantage.

We need to overcome our deficiencies not only as children but at any age. Just because we didn't learn something at the time doesn't mean we can't learn it later.

Yes, this is something that we could have and no one could be able to take it from us in speaking about the knowledge and the skills that you would really be able to know when going up to school or finishing up a degree.
Yes, it doesnt assure out that you could really land a good job after graduating but in speaking about the knowledge that you have gained through all the years that you can make use into your future endeavors or even
just into that casual operations in life or those activities on which having awareness on things does really that having that kind of advantage for those who are aware on the things that happening around compared into those people who dont able to touch up college or finishing one. Im not saying that we are smarter to those who had finished considering that success could really be still obtained into those people who hadnt been able to finish up their studies but its not something recommendable.

Financial literacy is something that could be learned though of which with the easy access or simply the accessibility that we do have into this era is really that make things that much more faster
and simpler on which means that it isnt really that something that you could really be able to skip out if ever you are really that tending to learn it.

But I feel you are missing the point of this topic because you having creative ideas and even establishing them still doesn’t make you a financial literate. Remember we are talking about financial literacy. At the end of the day, even if you have the idea, you still need to employ it at least consult financial literate people who know economics to look into your business. And honestly, the major way I see for someone to have financial literacy or know economics so well is through higher education.

It is not wrong if you see someone who is knowledgeable about finance and financial literacy through a degree in economics that is quite mature. But we also forget that someone also needs practice in life because experience will usually be more formed when someone starts to practice what they know or have learned through education in their own life.

Because I still quite often see some people with a fairly high level of education in a science such as economics who are still unemployed and don't know what work to do and don't know where to start a business. So knowledge alone will not be enough if there is no practice and knowledge will not always be sharp and can even be more likely to become dull if it is not used immediately when it is obtained. Therefore, both of them have become quite important and are owned by everyone so that the knowledge they already know can be truly useful for themselves and those around them.

Self taught is good teacher but we still need skills while managing accounting. It could be easier for someone with smarter mind to manage their accounts or daily expenses and still be saviour of their wealth however it might be different for those who are not strong from the maths background. For such peeps it could get harder with the time to save money.

I think this could be one of the strong reason for us to get financial literacy anyways. Imagine living in a country where accountants/CA is expensive, that could make an individual depend on themselves no matter what. In such situation peeps starts to become shaky and end up spending more money on the things they may not require. Or they may invest money on a portfolio that was not supposed to be invested. So maturity is when you realise its better to have basic financial knowledge.

My failure was that when I went to college, I didn't prepare myself to live independently, and thought that if I went to college then I could get a high salary. However, theory and practice in the field are very different. Then I realized that education was necessary and what was more important was to practice it from now on.
I believe the reality is that college doesn't guarantee you a job, but skills and knowledge are what land you a better job. Nowadays, companies often hire experienced individuals. Additionally, nepotism is prevalent in the recruitment of new employees, so those with poor skills and knowledge may find it challenging to secure a job.

During my college days, I observed various types of students, from smart ones to lazy ones. From that experience, I can't say that being smart ensures a job. The working world and education are not the same. The lazy ones might simply not enjoy academic subjects but excel in public speaking, which significantly influences their position in a company.

Knowledge is the basic thing that we must learn and from knowledge will open the gates to a successful life in the future, including knowledge in matters that are closely related to economics and finance.
If we already understand that then without us realizing that we have opened the gate to success. You are right when talking about athletes who go bankrupt after they retire, it's because they can't take advantage of their prime in terms of finance or in other words they don't think about the future. Actually there are many factors that cause that, it could be because they don't care about the future or they really don't understand or don't have knowledge about the principles in maintaining the financial situation in their lives.
When they don't master good financial knowledge. Never mind an athlete going bankrupt after retirement, even the children of rich people will go bankrupt if their family dies. What is certain is that a person's poverty can occur due to financial mistakes they have made in the past. And it turns out that mistakes in financial management occur, not only limited to the younger generation but all age groups. So it is important for us to be able to learn about financial mistakes so that financial mistakes in various age groups can occur in the future.

My failure was that when I went to college, I didn't prepare myself to live independently, and thought that if I went to college then I could get a high salary. However, theory and practice in the field are very different. Then I realized that education was necessary and what was more important was to practice it from now on.

Despite the differing opinions on the role of education in financial literacy, it is clear that individuals should seek out knowledge from a variety of sources to best equip themselves to succeed in the world of cryptocurrency. This can include following cryptocurrency news and social media, reading books and blogs on finance and investments, and seeking out practical experiences through investing and trading activities.
this sums it all up.

Knowledge comes first before venturing into wealth creation. It becomes more easier acquiring wealth when you already have the knowledge regarding how to go about it. In the world of cryptocurrency and tech in general, knowledge is the number one factor that will guarantee you success or failure in the chosen field. If you just want to invest in cryptocurrency without doing the necessary research and learning from people that are already in the field, you will end up insisting in shitcoins and after experiencing your loss, you will join the clueless folks out their that feel that all cryptocurrency are Ponzi schemes .

People may say that higher education Economics may not necessarily equate to financial literacy but I’ll tell you that it gives the individual a better understanding of Economics and finance. Someone who properly learnt Economics in school will most likely know better and do better than the average person in that field. Do you know that some of the things we learn today around finance are things that are being taught in the higher education of Economics? But this doesn’t limit the normal person from learning well about Economics as a whole or improving their finance knowledge. Today we have vast resources to learn from.
Education in terms of economics does not just spit money out from nowhere but it gives a step to step approach into making profit from one or fewer businesses being involved in.

It's kind of unfair, how the richest set of people in the world did end on the run to being well educated, this same set of people now employs those who are well educated to manage the business. These shows at times it may not be as you being educated alone but how creative are you to put what you have upstairs into something physical as to yield profits.
It will be of utmost benefit to be educated, more advantageous than a person not educated.

Someone who has a high education in economics will have something different from someone who does not have a high education, but the most important thing is the application. Because when you become a society what is more important is the application, not just theorizing. For me, experience will also be one of the factors that will determine later. So it is recommended that when studying, we should also go directly to the field, so we can see something real and feel it ourselves in the field.

Many people who have a high educational basis in economics in fact when they go directly to the field the results are not as imagined. So the conclusion is that there must be a balance in everything, because this involves real life which will be more difficult for us to live.
Yes, application of what you learnt matters. But if you are great at the theory of anything then the application wouldn’t be an issue as it would be for someone who doesn’t even have the theoretical knowledge. Someone who didn’t learn economics in school can’t go into the field and find it all easy. But someone who learnt economics and knows the theory part can and will relate as they practicalize their knowledge. That’s another thing to note too, you can’t practicalize what you don’t know. If you do, you’ll most likely fail because you have no knowledge. Studying economics is not the grand thing, it doesn’t make you a God in the field, but of course it makes it easier for you since you have some knowledge.

Knowledge is the basic thing that we must learn and from knowledge will open the gates to a successful life in the future, including knowledge in matters that are closely related to economics and finance.

Of course, financial literacy knowledge is very important, whatever your job. Starting from office workers, freelancers, to housewives, they must have the ability to manage finances, so that their finances remain stable and do not go bankrupt.

For this reason, it is very important for everyone to have financial literacy, so that they are not easily deceived in financial matters such as investing in coins whose future is unclear or various other financial-related frauds.

However, unfortunately in many countries, especially in remote areas, financial literacy is still very low. Many people are trapped by the promise of big profits in a moment, which turns out to be just an empty trap from irresponsible individuals. That's why it is very important for us to continue learning about financial literacy wherever and whenever, because this is the path to success.

How to Equip Yourself with Essential Knowledge to Succeed in the World of Cryptocurrency

As the world becomes increasingly digitalized, the importance of financial literacy, especially in cryptocurrency, cannot be overstated. With the rise of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it is crucial to be knowledgeable about these assets and how to invest and manage them wisely. However, the question remains: what is the role of education in financial literacy?

While some people believe that hands-on experience is the best way to learn, it cannot be denied that education in economics and finance can provide a strong foundation for success. Higher education can teach valuable skills such as critical thinking, data analysis, and risk assessment, all of which are crucial in the world of finance and investments. It can also provide theoretical knowledge that one would not otherwise acquire through everyday experiences.

On the other hand, some argue that education in finance and economics does not necessarily equate to financial literacy. They point out that many successful investors are self-taught, and that practical experience is the best teacher. Moreover, they contend that education in finance can often be expensive and not accessible to everyone.

I would also add in that consulting with the professionals and seeking them out is a fantastic way to gain understanding on whatever you wish to know more about. Even cold calling them up and just being very direct with questions I guarantee that you will get your answers because the reality of it is that most people like to help others and bitcoin especially love talking and teaching people about Bitcoin!  Cool

I believe that hands-on experience is one of the best way to learn because once you had experienced the actual gaining profit and the losses.
But still education plays a crucial role in financial literacy. In education people can learn about important financial concepts such as budgeting, saving, investing and how to manage debts. With that individuals can do the right decisions about their finances and they can develop a good financial habits.
Everyone has different opinion on the role of education on Financial Literacy and I respect that. At the end of the day you will be responsible to your own financial literacy, so better yet study and research on your own.
I agree that personal experiences makes us better on something specially in cryptocurrency. The mistakes we made in such experiences will teach us lessons that we might use so that the next time we encounter such problem we are ready and able to solved it. Without proper education we might end up losing and commit mistakes again and again that is why we need to do a trial and error so we come up with good results.
