Ah yes I recall this thread.
I am not sure how though. It could be just like more like a coincidence, but it made people believe that the show predicts the future from how many already happened irl.
There was even one announcement that they claim that they even knew who Satoshi is/was. This one is what I will just take as a joke though.

This is the statement that I doubt the most from The Simpsons, how is it possible to know the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, this is simply absurd.
The Simpsons is only an entertainment program, so we shouldn't take all the predictions and statements too seriously on the show. Maybe that's
the way The Simpsons promote their show by continuing to controversy. It's their right to do that, but I never believed The Simpsons could predict
the future.

This is a joke and nothing more, do not take it seriously.
You from the angle that it all a joke, because the cartoon producer shoot the film series to make the viewer have some amusement or laughter watching the movies but I Simpson producer seems to be a crypto enthusiast or investors because an ordinary person couldn't understand the possible trend the Bitcoin market will pose.
If we look into the fact of the Simpson prediction I dont see it as a joke.

It should be understood, that you cannot immediately believe the coincidence that happened regarding The Simpsons. We all have to understand that all the things that happen now and have been filmed by The Simpson, do not mean this animation can see the future. They drew a picture on every frame, and everyone was looking for the current phenomenon to match The Simpson series so it could be said that it had been predicted beforehand. Ridiculous
This is just a coincidence.
Anyone can make predictions, but why are your eyes more on The Simpsons?
You are right and I don't say people should accept every price market predicted on the Simpson cartoon because no one can predict accurate price of the market and when the market is in ATH alot of people usually use the moment to create false reductionin other to be popular but what I am saying is that if we don't open our eyes to view other possibilities of the issue we may ignore the fact.

This is a joke and nothing more, do not take it seriously.

It is a joke once you only use this kind of way for an indicator to buy/sell or anything that involved money, extremely nonsense and risky.
But the good thing here is adoption, the more exposure of Bitcoin to the crowd, the better, The Simpson is one of the famous cartoon episodes now. Let's just be thankful they feature Bitcoin.
If you also agreed on the Simpson to be one of the famous cartoon episodes then you shouldn't consider what the producer show in his episodes as joke.
1) If the price prediction was provided footing his thought it means he's trying to influence the price of the market just like others did (Elon etc)
2) He could be a crypto trader or knowledgeable investor.

I would just wait and see if their prediction would also come true again.
But how would we know when it happens?
Maybe it is already happening right now it didn't say any price but showed us an infinity sign.
We don't know when would Bitcoin end and maybe it is what they are predicting the lifespan of Bitcoin not the price.
And maybe we are just giving it too much attention or meaning but whatever it is I would just enjoy the show and continue to watch it.

If the prediction is for Endless growth then how do you wait or when exactly do you plan to start waiting? lol, to me i don't see it as prediction but a normal occurrence for btc, after all, as long as btc exist there will definately be growth, so why will someone or a network predict something that is obvious Huh

So our predictions regarding Bitcoin's price is also a joke then if you take The Simpson's prediction as a joke??
I don't see it as a joke though but just a mere prediction and in fact that gained much popularity to the show. I know that they are popular already but their prediction made them even more popular. Now that Bitcoin is gaining popularity too, they want a piece of it that is why they included it in their show Cheesy.

Now regarding the price growth of Bitcoin becoming endless, with what is happening right now I think its obvious that the price of Bitcoin will rise in the future and best maybe endless like what the show has predicted Cheesy. As long as there are more people who wants to use it, as long as there are some developments or upgrades about it, as long as adoption increases then for sure the price growth of Bitcoin will rise and possible endless Smiley.

At first most people thought that this was crazy, but now we already experienced the reality of those predictions. Personally, I don't really take some speculations seriously but there's a bigger contributions for us to analyze better if somebody gives his/her predictions.
Opportunity comes only at once, so don't ignore every ideas and positive ideas always attracts good outcome and that's how the simpsons works as a clue for those who neglected bitcoin as sustainable asset.

it can all be just a COINcidence, i am not a big fan of these conspiracy theories and i also think that they could be true, but there is no way you find the truth, which makes me just avoid these kind of things, you can never be a 100% sure about them, you will always have doubts, i sometimes watch youtube videos or read things about them, just for fun and curiosity.

Perhaps any prediction should be treated with a slight irony, but when it comes to the future of Bitcoin, more than half of the participants in this forum will use any excuse to be more confident in their investments, which the authorities call a “pyramid”. If The Simpsons predicted an endless rise in bitcoin, as ridiculous as it may seem at first glance, there is some truth in this. At the very least, the Simpsons' predictions should not be taken any more seriously than the info-gypsies who promise us every day that Bitcoin will rise to a million dollars by the end of the year or the fall of digital gold in the fall. Relax, people - growth is yet to come.
Nah, I don't really care about what the animation is showing since I only trust to what I see (e.g. the supply and demand.) If the numbers is right we can do the math somehow to know the possible price of Bitcoin to come up in the the future. Somehow, it was funny to see such coincidence in the animation because it really shows what are the government been doing. But that's just it–it's not really showing what the whole world been doing so I don't believe with their prediction somehow.

Correlation is different from causation. The Simpson's bitcoin schtick is funny at best, but you can never use a gag show's eventualities as basis for what's to come in the future, especially for something as volatile and precious as bitcoin. Matt is just good at tickling the people's fancy, that is why some of the things that happen in the show turns out to be true in real life, he either has a very good grip of reality and is very observant about anything, or he is an alien with foresight abilities. You take your pick but I'll go for the one that makes most sense.

joke or not, almost all of the predictions issued by The Simpson really happened, did you not follow the predictions that were issued by the Simpson?

And you believe that they have a powerful prediction charm or what? Lol. Y'all say "predict" then act like it's assured. These people say their thoughts, and just because it matched doesn't guarantee the other things they say. I could predict a football match to end as 6:2, but if it happens, it doesn't make my predictions trustworthy. I only made a guess (just like you could've).
"Predict" is a word that doesnt give out an assurance for things to happen in the future and if those calls do able to hit up then they would say that it does have 100% precision.

People do have their own views and opinions about this because on my side i would be on the middle part neither i would believe for some time or would definitely just ignore these calls.  Grin

I would say those are just coincidence. I mean, look at most of the events they "predicted". Those were bound to happen based on the current situation. Look at how many episodes they have. Maybe more than 500. Out of them, only few episodes predicted something that was actually bound to happen. Once again, those are just coincidence and nothing else. And for the recently predictions, they probably look at what's trending/happening now and makes a new episode and hopes that it is going to happen and people go all crazy lol. The price of bitcoin is supposed to grow and they know that.
Of course, I completely agree with you that any scenes in the Simpsons script are just a coincidence with real events, but still we have to admit the fact that there are too many of these coincidences. For example, this is not only the black president of the United States, but also a large-scale epidemic due to the virus, which began to spread from China. These events were also in one of the episodes of this series. It is unlikely that the scripts are written by some Oracle or fortuneteller, but nevertheless the fact remains a fact and very curious.

To be honest, I am really quite intrigued by this animated series. This series has already made a lot of predictions that has really happened and I am really curious as to how this can happen. I mean, a coincidence maybe as some may say, but this many coincidences are quite hard to ignore. But true or not, the series alone if very fun to watch and I find it so entertaining. Even without believing its predictions or being in the middle, I would still continue to watch it and maybe keep an eye for the good stuff that may actually happen in the future as a "coincidence".

Events of the animated series are often brought to life. For example, in one episode in 2000, the authors referred to former U.S. President Donald Trump.

In the new episode of "The Simpsons" from April 11 the authors predicted an endless rise in the price of Bitcoin. It was noticed by Reddit users. The episode tells about speculation in financial markets. A ticker with quotes appears on one of the frames, in which there is an infinity sign opposite to bitcoin.

It is noteworthy that in February 2020, the authors of the animated series already produced an entire episode devoted to cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology called Frinkcoin. This was mentioned by the head of Binance, Changpeng Zhao.

The writers of "The Simpsons" have previously made several successful predictions. For example, in one episode from 2000, Donald Trump was named the former president of the United States.

Also in the ticker of the new episode of the cartoon appear stock quotes of video game stores GameStop (GME). The value of the company's stock increases by $1 trillion, and then immediately falls by $2 trillion. Thus, the authors of the cartoon series were reminded of the "pamp" of GameStop stock, which was caused by the WallStreetBets movement on Reddit.

In January of this year, users of the site were outraged by the fact that hedge funds were opening a large number of short positions on GME, which reduced the value of the stock. As a protest, investors from Reddit began buying up the company's stock, which led to its rise in price by 1,941% in just a few weeks (from $17 to $347). On April 13, Gamestop stock is trading at $141.

The cost of bitcoin on April 13 updated its all-time high at $63.1 thousand. As of 12:30 MSK, the value of the main cryptocurrency, according to CoinGecko, is $62.4 thousand.

This has been error remarkable with the Simpson. They've got all there predictions right most at times. I was surprised when the Donald Trump prediction for the presidency in 2000 was referenced. Now its bitcoin to have an endless price though, 8 feel this  one is out of place, to some extent it makes it feel as though the price would alwaysbe heading  upwards in the bull side mean while, its not going to be so. I'm not implying that, this is what the prediction is about but, it feels that way. I believe in time, bitcoin would be stable within a particular price range and form a ranging market within that price zone.
The Simpsons are doing great to co.e up with this speculations and being able to reflect worldly future and past occurances in there series.

In the new episode of "The Simpsons" from April 11 the authors predicted an endless rise in the price of Bitcoin.

Yeah? Where exactly in that episode it was predicted an endless growth? Here is an April 11 episode review. This is all about burgers Cheesy What this guy from reddit saw was just another example of "seen for the wish".

Why exactly he correlated speculation on the market to Bitcoin growth? Why not endless Fox network stock endless growth? If he sees in "plant-based burger business" Bitcoin, then he is not familiar with yield farming.

End of discussion.

Are you still gonna believe that Simpson is a prediction maker? All of us can make predictions because it is just a matter of coincidence.

It is only credible if they showed us some of their basis or evidences of their predictions.

We should not always believe on those wide imaginations, anyone can make prediction but it is just interesting if it comes true, then that's really unbelievable.
