Good cartoon. Did you draw it yourself? I've always wished I could draw cartoons, I'm useless.

The names of the ships have been photoshopped that's all

That is a pretty funny cartoon. Does this mean they are not adding LTC anytime soon? JK

I'm hopeful that MtGox will sort out their problems, but I don't know whether it will be days, weeks or months before they can honour everyone's bitcoin withdrawals.

BTC on MtGox are only worth 3/4 of BTC elsewhere right now, and the trend seems to be that it will drop more.

There is an active market of people exchanging their goxxed BTC for real BTC https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/mtgox-btc-bidask-455243.

stupid
Gox is the most professional & biggest exchange and if they wanted to steal their users coins, they could do it a lot more easily than by pretending to have a technical hitch.
Why would they do that?!!!
If they wanted to steal coins they would just pretend they got hacked or something. easy.
this is pure paranoia and nothing else

Far more professional exchanges have gone bust in the world finance. Gox is a joke by their standards. Do you even trade anything else besides BTC?  Undecided

How would you explain having a "technical glitch" on large withdrawals only?

Gox is awful, but people closer to the situation at least seem to still believe they're solvent, like Roger Ver and Andreas Antonopolous:

...and that customer who flew from Australia and sat outside their offices for 3 days.

Bobby Lee, CEO of exchange BTC China, which actually eclipsed Mt. Gox’s trading volumes at times in 2013, said he also accepted its official explanations. While he didn’t see its immediate problems reaching China, he said negative stories about a company the size of Mt. Gox “could put a damper on the whole bitcoin ecosystem”

Nice. And yeah, price tanking again right now. Really wonder how low it will go.
