For now Ethereum, which is close to 2.0 and also Tron, is still in my portfolio and I added investment in both. my goal was clear with the two projects that had developed and hopefully they could be as I expected in terms of price increases. .In Covid's day yesterday there were many altcoins that we could invest in to buy and that became a golden opportunity

so far ethereum seems to be doing so well may vote will be on it then there is binance coin which basically might increase in price due to usage and if you want little bit of percentage then kucoin share is a good one..So many altcoin are gearing up but I think ETH is going to perform well this year
as I thought. if altcoin season happens this year, then ethereum is one of the coins that will become a star, or even ethereum will be the only coin that approaches bitcoin. so far, the development of ethereum prices seems to depend on the development of bitcoin prices. When the price of bitcoin rises, I think the price of ethereum will also pump high. I think the time is near. 
I am sure there will be some coins that are at the very bottom of the lists, not even worth 1 satoshi, worth probably less than 1 ethosi or whatever people call ethereums smallest currency, maybe even less than 1 litoshi (the litecoin one) that will go maybe 10000x towards being worth 1 satoshi somewhere one day and maybe even peak at 5-6 satoshi each.
That will literally be the top performing altcoin of 2020, it will probably go from 15 thousand dollars whole market cap to 1+ million dollars, still will be very very tiny and not considered important at all and because of the increase there will be a huge hype that will be soon forgotten, yet that moment it will be the biggest earner. All of the other ones here will probably make a good profit but none of them have potential for that much increase.

Check Tezos (XTZ) they have a good RoadMap for this years, and currently all is okay for this Project/blockchain
XTZ is not a bad coin, but definitely not perfect, the best coin will always be Bitcoin, and among alts for me the best coin is ETH.

Although the price increase in bitcoin is a necessity but it is not a determinant of all eth trends because people vote for eth, they know that it will have a very important update this year, the time is coming very close, it's the detonator for eth to go up, and if the information and support are good enough, eth can break the trend and not follow bitcoin. It means that even if bitcoin didn't rise and fall, eth could still go up just by the information of this update, and this price hike will not lose to bitcoin's recent development as eth is also a big player in the market how would that happen? of course it will only be possible if bitcoin will remain bullish so we will see the altcoins season to be leaded by ETH, a possible ATH is on the way if that situation of the market will be realize, so let's hold on and we will eventually reach that far.

Yes, this year seems great for the altcoins where last year bullish run did not come into alts! Some new coins are doing great with the old ones. In the first month of 2020, we saw a bullish trend into BSV, BCH, DASH, BNB, LTC, ETH, TEM, SERO and many others. And we can expect the more bullish trend will come into all potential altcoins.
As of now, they haven't recovered half of what it drop during the long correction, so we are really hoping it will continue to rise so soon we will see a new ATH, but it would not happen when bitcoin will remain below its ATH.
as of now, Bitcoin still struggle to break $10,000....... hope tomorrow when I wake up, WE WILL FINALLY BE THERE.

I would say Ethereum will be focus this year 2020. due to ETH 2.0 will be the next to watch on July. I would say other top perfumer altcoin in 2020 will be Tron - TRX, And XRP can be the next after TRX.

I am guessing the reason for ethereum to outperform any other coin would be the Istanbul fork that is expected this year. I mean all other coins are decent ones as well and I definitely support them but at the same time so I think there is no reason why others can't have better years. This is more about "generally market would go up but eth may have a skyrocket due to fork" type of thinking by people.
Let's hope that the fork is as good as everyone imagine it is, otherwise we would have a bad coin that had a failed fork with thousands of people invested millions of dollars for nothing and that would hurt the market immensely. I think the best case scenario here would be every single coin going up a bit, some going a lot more but all of them ending the year on positive.

I've decided between ethereum and others. for others. I think that the top performers will mostly be created from anno projects. I wouldn't exclude WAVES but I think ETH or Monero or something like that is more realistic.
First I think Ethereum will maintain a steady market and will likely continue to dominate other altcoins in the market I just hope some fews that have potentials will make impact If devs of those coins work hard and maintain some steady roadmap plus create more usage for their coins then there will possibility for much more growth For I will likely wait to see Where EOS goes from here.

Now a lot of top alts are very good and valuable, because they are all now growing in the market, everyone can choose for themselves the most valuable alts.
