A mining operation I was involved with in taiwan was above a bank on a busy street in the city, the miners vented directly out of the slatted window pointed down at the street. Imagine, it’s 35 centigrade in the summer and you’re walking along the street and a great hot blast of air from 300 S9s hits you in the face

Been setting this up myself, live in Canada and stays below zero all winter.

I have alternative plan to grow "restaurant" mushrooms in the spring/summer/fall to use the heat generated to keep a constant temp room.
Can be used in any requirement where temp is required above norm.

For Winter, we have Fireplace so can't go away. Mining coins give us the added benefit of leaving the farm for prolonged periods without paying huge electric.
Coins subsidize our electric use.

We are installing off grid solutions next year, if the heat system works with miners as planned.

It's not really something I'm concerned with. The operating temperatures are well within the norms for the materials they build with.

If not my miners it would be an electric heating element that is a piece of metal, with poor conducting abilities, but has a high melt point. So either way I'm heating metal and using the air to cool it .

My only concern off anything harmful emitting from the miners would be in case if a fire. That goes for anything and everything in my house though.

Guys, how to start mining if you're a complete idiot?
I've read a lot about bitcoin shuffle.
Explain to me what equipment do I need for it?

I've always wondered why people don't do this more often, nice to see you've had the idea and it's working well for you.

Have you ever consider using the excess heat for heating up any other things? like thawing frozen food, drying laundry or keeping something at a constant warm temperature? These are some activities that won't be limited to just winter.

What is the EBSP token? Who heard about it or invested, tell me if it is in demand in the market and how does its price grow? Is it worth now to invest in this token?

I've been mining for over a year now and also enjoy the heat output in winter. But I have recently stopped because, call me paranoid but I feel like the air these machine puts out is affecting my health. And it might not be that far fetched considering how hot they get inside the boards and chips working 100% at all times.

I really liked the originality of the idea. How to reduce costs on the falling cost of cryptocurrencies. With this decision, mining can have a profit. if you bind space heating to useful features mining farms - vedeleniem heat

My Best friend used a 500W miner last winter and it heated my 600 square foot apartment until the outside temperature was below 30 Fahrenheit. My apartment complex is new and has very good insulation.

I used to use my S9's to dry my clothes after washing them, the heat from like 6x S9's is enough to dry clothes in a few hours.

Is it a good idea to put miners in a closet like that?
What about the heat that they produce?

Using miners heat is nobrainer if you want to maximize your profit. While they produce a lot of noise I suggest using sound insulation foam around. If you know what are you doing modifying heatsinks with multiple quieter fans is a good option aswell

I am not mining but I am well aware of heat generation during winter times. I remember in the past using AMD in the middle of the winter and still having window open  Grin
