I don't really think that CNN interview can be valuable reason to say the BTC is a bubble. it's just a show... and like any other show it has to show us some "breaking news"

Maybe he is just frustrated because he can't join the party.  Cheesy
Nope, he can but surely don’t want to be invest on this price. So making a bad comments is the only way they thought that bitcoin can go to a much lower so that they can profit a thousand fold. This is nothing more than just a black propaganda for they’re own interest. Who’s next? then I’m sure one familiar bankers will make a video like this on or before 2018.

I am sure that everyone in this forum are aware of investing in bitcoin.  It is not the first that we hear that bitcoin is a bubble.  But bitcoin is still here and are providing good profit for us.

Probably wants a sequel. Just want to make himself relevant with the times. Very risky gamble taking on bitcoins, he should’ve just joined the bandwagon. That is, if he still hasn’t secretly.

Jordan Belfort aka wolf of wall street had an interview on CNN where he was talking about why bitcoin and all the cryptocurrency are just a bubble that is gonna burst and warned everyone of the risk of investing in it. the video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsaU4-AUW2Y

Honestly, I like his movie. But, when I watched his explanation, he should've just kept the lid on it. He's not an expert on this matter.. I'd probably listen to him, if we are talking about Stock market.

Enough with that Wolf of Wall Street or whatever is his title in Wall Street. Before Jamie Dimon keeps on talking that bitcoin is a fraud. They are just trying to discourage new investors so that they can buy at dip so to those who just get in and invested to bitcoin will be forced to sell as if they will be trusted with their opinions. This is just an old tactic.

Yet another stock market giant after warren buffet and JP morgan exclaiming that bitcoin is a bubble. The interview itself is based on unlogical explanations. These stock market giants are just afraid that the world would move towards a crypto society where they aren't really the big whales any more so they resist change.
I don't think that he is a stock market giant as Warren Buffett though. Speaking of Warren, did you just know that Crypto world is already worth more than his Berkshire? Amazing run.

Don't you think they can easily be big whales themselves ? considering how much money they have . They have the option to buy loads of btc and just hold . I really think bitcoin is going somehow to crash , not sure if it will be able to recover but the cryptocurrency market itself is going to be the future of currencies without a doubt.
It's possible. We don't know what made him talk about bitcoin specially lately that we have seen him attacking bitcoin. It could be that he want the price to go down deep and then purchase large quantity. Whales really want to create this stuff, by behind those bashes are intentions to buy back bitcoin at a discounted price.

Another paid guy who wants to discredit crypto currency. Afraid of liquidating his positions in stock market.  Wakeup guys, crypto currency is the future of the world's currency.

give the dude about 12-18 months. when we hear from him next he'll be launching his ico and crypto is now the greatest thing ever. presumably he'll be doing it through a 'rathole' to avoid having to pay back his creditors.
LOL. That will be really funny. I assume he just missed the boat and didn't invest in crypto's. Remember Mark Cuban? He used to be anti-bitcoin but look at him now, he suddenly chance his stance and I'm sure that he already investment in bitcoin. They all said that its a bubble, but they can't really stop it, so they just joined the bandwagon and ride the waves.

I would say that all life is a bubble. While this bubble grows, make use of it. Many people invest into cryptocurrency now instead of bank system, that is why I think the wall street guy explains and warns the public of that. On the other side one should be careful with any investments.

Nothing new!
The problem is whatever economic indicators are there, they all indicate towards Bitcoin being a bubble. A decentralized coin with no intrinsic value or utility growing insanely is indeed a matter of concern. But Bitcoin here represents a completely different economic landscape which shouldn't be compared to traditional assets. I hate when people compare it with Tulip Bulb Mania. Bitcoin is definitely not that. It has limited supply that can't be altered and that is why it has an edge on gold when it comes to supply. Cryptocurrencies has potential, but whether it is Bitcoin at the end that I also doubt.

Some of the interviews lately, terrorism, drug dealers, sex slave owners. I gotta laugh every time I hear them. What really gets me is the supposed tech expert usually hasn't a clue either and so never confronts the bull crap that these guys/girls say about the crypto market, some people are gonna be real late to the party  Kiss

Nothing else could be expected from these wall street wolfs.Every one of them talk against bitcoin and what's the difference is they say different points against bitcoin. Some say it as a fraud while some other say its a ponzi scheme. Some say its a bubble.

We have already seen jamie dimon tweeting bitcoin as a fraud on one side which made bitcoin price to fall and on the other hand,he is accused of buying more cheap bitcoins at that time. Also a case has been filed against his company JP Morghan for fraudulent activities.

Don't let others control your BTC -> self custody

A stock market giant? I'd say a scammer and a hustler. Are you really going to put someone like that on a pedestal? This guy knew how to make money... at the expense of others and that's why he got busted and served time. He was scamming people, manipulating markets, selling stories and laundering money, that's why his little enterprise was so successful. He knows nothing about cryptocurrencies, just like Buffet. As for JPM, their stance on BTC has changed recently. They are probably heavily invested by now.

Do we really need to believe them that easily ? I guess if we are doing our own research then we would not which is real and which is a fraud. Such FUD have their individual reasons and in my opinion a word by mouth by some rich guy won't change what I believe in until I can see a proof or a good explanation about it.
For years, the bubble bursting thing always comes up to cause a huge panic sell.

Is this totally a new video? Didn't click the link.

He already bashed bitcoin last month if I'm not mistaken that's why I'm asking if this is a new video, otherwise I already read what he says about bitcoin.

Haven't he heard that there are a lot of institutional investment firm getting into the act lately? I guess everyone really wants to open their mouth and say something about bitcoin to attract media attention. Bitcoin is gaining popular by the day, and if you want to be relevant, just talk about bitcoin and I'm sure that you will get the needed attention you are looking.
The video is from 2 days ago. He didn't talk about bitcoin only but also the other new cryptocurrencies and all the ICOs . Bitcoin now is getting so much light in the media and as you said everyone wants to jump on the opportunity to either bash or say delusional prediction about bitcoin price.
