I decided to keep going with the verification process and made slow but steady progress until eventually I had to submit a support ticket. To my surprise it was answered quickly and professionally and my problems are resolved. I'm sorry for people still caught up in messy stuff, but perhaps you can take some comfort in what happened with mine. Follow 1Referee's advice - "don't give up" - and perhaps it will work out for you also. In their correspondence, Bittrex said that they were overwhelmed with the number of new users, and were greatly increasing their support staff.

Of course, I wish that Bittrex had not accepted my deposit without warning me that I could not then withdraw anything without verifying the (legacy) account. I hope they fix that "gotcha" for everyone quickly.

Be prepared for the fact that Bitrex will simply rob you.
In the USA, it is so accepted that you work with someone that you give him money. And he tells you that he does not want to work with me, but he will not return money to me?

My account although enhanced has been disabled for over 3 months, at first I thought it's a simple miss verification process and as I didn't have much time being an International student from Sudan studying in India I didn't give it much attention after opening my ticket. A month or so passed and I returned to my residing country Saudi Arabia and noticed my ticket is still opened and my account still disabled, I tried reaching them through email, twitter telling them that I would provide any document required in order to speed up resolving this issue as I still have my receipts of my bank transfers by which I bought the BTC through local bitcoins while studying in India, I was still ignored although leaving them dozens of emails, tweets and messages. Thankfully I found a guy on twitter who was part of their slack group, it is "A group/work space where people would interact with admins" this group was once open to those who had their account approved and enhanced verified but after disabling thousands of accounts they closed it and the only way you could get in is by knowing someone from the inside to ask one of the admins to send you an invitation, long story short this guy had a good rep with them and knew one of the admins and god bless him he asked him and he agreed to send me an invitation I got it and got in and asked them politely to look up my ticket which at that time had been opened for roughly 2 months, afterwards one of the admins replied to me saying that he escalated my ticket I thanked him daydreaming that this nightmare is on the verge of ending, came back to check after 3-4 days saw that my account is still disabled and the same messege I've received on bittrex slack is on my ticket, tried to log in to bittrex slack and found out I have been kicked out for no freaking reason I almost lost hope at this point, fastforward a week or so I received an email stating that in order verify my account to enhanched I need to upload a fresh selfy holding my passport, went to check in on my bittrex account only to find out that my enhacnhed acc has been downgraded to basic so I did what they asked uploaded a fresh selfie holding my freaking passport along whith a signed letter stating the date and it went through, a week later my account is back enhacnhed but still freaking disabled not to mention that I've included my recipts my btc address of local bitcoins where I purchased my btc everything but still freaking disabled and no one wants to reply not even for stating the reason literally the worst customer serivce period the worst exchange of the century just freaking why...

I have a Bittrex account that is several years old, that I used in the past but has sat idle for a long time. I wanted to buy an altcoin that was available there, and without checking further (my fault) I deposited some BTC, bought the alt and went to withdraw it. That's when they told me I could not withdraw anything, nothing at all, until jumping through their new verification hoops. I filled in the forms for basic verification but they said my info was not on their public database (whatever that means) and I'd have to do the advanced verification. So - cornered - I tried the advanced verification which uses Jumio. I tried documents that Jumio had accepted in the past for other sites, but this time they were not accepted. Stalemate. Bittrex has my crypto, and my ID. I have nothing in exchange. Lesson learned.

It's 25% your fault, and 75% Bittrex. Bittrex acts in a very shady manner by giving people the ability to deposit, while they won't allow people to withdraw anything. This is so wrong, that it literally makes me hate them so much. It's nothing more than an attempt to make people deposit funds in the hope they will not be able to pass the verification levels you're supposed to go through. Those who eventually give up on their verification and take their loss, will translate into money in the pocket of Bittrex, the bastards. If you don't allow people to withdraw, then why allowing them to deposit? I have a legacy account there as well, and I am still able to deposit (obviously won't ever do), but won't be able to withdraw anything. I hope you don't give up on your funds if it concerns a considerable amount of crypto assets. If it's a relatively smaller amount, at least ask Bittrex to delete all your information including your account - at this point you don't have anything to lose anymore.

Many exchangers are demanding now ID verification, but they notified their users and gave the opportunity to withdraw their funds for a certain  deadline as seen on Poloniex. I fear, there will be no othet way as to make a criminal complaint against them.
sadly bittrex omited to notify its users until after the said accounts were allready disabled and the notice i seen was hidden in an edited post from 2016.

Bittrex closed the withdrawal for almost a month, technical support not answer until bbb complaint was written, Bitrex shit!

Just not sure what happening with this exchange if the above data is considered to be true. it was one of the very reputed exchange and every one wanted to have the account in this exchange.  But now with this type of reviews it will keep the users alert and away form such exchanges till the time they resolve their issues completely and gets operational fully like before.

Bittrex will be a thing of the past once big decentralized exchanges will take over.

Not to mention that apps like Robinhood will soon offer FREE crypto trading. Lots of good competition coming out.

My account was blocked and I waited for a response of 3 months. As soon as I wrote a complaint to the BBB, they answered me with Bittrex. My account was blocked by political sanctions. But when they took my money and allowed me to carry out transactions, they did not care. As soon as I wanted to withdraw my coins, my account was disabled. My coins were simply stolen.

Bittrex stole my 3000$ and appropriated it without warning.
The support service completely ignores my requests for more than 100 days.
The community must stop such bold robbery and punish thieves.

My Bittrex account is disabled with no prior notice and my coins are blocked. They don't answer my ticket. It's about 3 months! My account is verified (enhanced verification), but they disabled my account because I'm from Iran.

If I'm from banned location, why they allowed me to register and trade? Why they generated a deposit address for me and allowed my to deposit?
